The article explores the disruptive social contexts and inter-racial rela- tionships in Thomas Dekker＇s Lust＇s Dominion （c.1599-1600） [Collier found out about its original performance date, which was in February 1600, and that it was first published in 1657 （Collier 1827, p. 264）] with focus on the Moorish Eleazar. The play is about race, lust, revenge and politics. The Elizabethan experienced a cultural blend and a fear of Africans and other foreigners. Like Dekker, Elizabethan dramatists imparted well-known contemporary prejudices and stereotypes on those of specific origin in Africa based solely on their dark skin. Elizabethan shows reinforced the image of the Moor as cruel, tyrannical and deceitful. The African Moors are portrayed to the Elizabethan expectations as being demi-devil, deceitful, lascivious, unpleasant, merciless egotist as soon as he appears. The depiction of the evil Moor contributes to Elizabethan superiority as an intrinsic right. Dekker illustrates the pervasive racism of Elizabethan Europe and the plain consequences of this institutionalized prejudice.

The proliferation of Internet of Things(IoT)technology has exponentially increased the number of devices interconnected over networks,thereby escalating the potential vectors for cybersecurity *** response,this study rigorously applies and evaluates deep learning models—namely Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN),Autoencoders,and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)networks—to engineer an advanced Intrusion Detection System(IDS)specifically designed for IoT *** the comprehensive UNSW-NB15 dataset,which encompasses 49 distinct features representing varied network traffic characteristics,our methodology focused on meticulous data preprocessing including cleaning,normalization,and strategic feature selection to enhance model performance.A robust comparative analysis highlights the CNN model’s outstanding performance,achieving an accuracy of 99.89%,precision of 99.90%,recall of 99.88%,and an F1 score of 99.89%in binary classification tasks,outperforming other evaluated models *** results not only confirm the superior detection capabilities of CNNs in distinguishing between benign and malicious network activities but also illustrate the model’s effectiveness in multiclass classification tasks,addressing various attack vectors prevalent in IoT *** empirical findings from this research demonstrate deep learning’s transformative potential in fortifying network security infrastructures against sophisticated cyber threats,providing a scalable,high-performance solution that enhances security measures across increasingly complex IoT *** study’s outcomes are critical for security practitioners and researchers focusing on the next generation of cyber defense mechanisms,offering a data-driven foundation for future advancements in IoT security strategies.

Today,due to the increasingly stringent European directives concerning the use of molecules with certain toxicities towards the environment or their users,the essential oils,extracts,and molecules derived from plants exhibiting the characteristic of being biodegradable can be considered as a source of green corrosion inhibitors instead of harmful synthetic *** present work was devoted to testing the essential oil extracted from Mentha pulegium leaves(M1) as a corrosion inhibitor for C-steel in 1mol/L HCl solution using both electrochemical techniques and gravimetric measurements for the evaluation of the inhibition efficiencies at different *** results obtained showed that the inhibition efficiency increased with an increase in Ml concentration to reach a maximum value of 92.21%.We sought to determine the molecule responsible for this high efficiency,starting with the analysis of oil chemical composition by gas chromatography coupled with mass *** analysis revealed that menthol(M2)and isomenthol(M3)were the principal *** order to identify the molecule responsible for the inhibition and explain the protection mechanism involved,quantum chemical calculations and Monte Carlo simulations were used to explain the interaction of menthol,the major constituent of M1 with the *** practically confirm these results,we studied the action of 1mol/L HCl on steel with and without the addition of M2 by both methods(gravimetric and electrochemical study).A very high efficiency was obtained,an efficiency of 94.90% at 10^-3 mol/L,which was retained for a long exposure time,and slightly decreased in function of ***,a good correlation between the experimental data,theoretical calculations,and SEM studies was obtained,which denied that the Ml efficiency was only a result of a synergy effect and confirmed the high efficiency of Mentha oil and its main component(menthol)as a strong ecological inhibitor of corrosion.

In this paper, the inhomogeneous broadenings dot semiconductor optical effects of homogeneous and on the response of quantum- amplifier （QD-SOAs） are investigated. For the first time, the state space model is used to simulate static and dynamic characteristics of the QD-SOA. It is found that with decreasing the homo- geneous and inhomogeneous broadenings, the saturation power of the QD-SOA decreases and the optical gain and the ultrafast gain compression increase. Simulation results show that with decreasing the homogeneous broadening from 20 to 1 meV, the gain compression increases from 40% to 90%, the unsaturated optical gain becomes approximately tripled, and the saturation power becomes two times less. Also, simulations demonstrate that with decreasing the inhomogeneous broadening from 50 to 25 meV, the gain compression increases from less than 50% to more than 90%, the unsaturated optical gain becomes approximately 10-fold, and the saturation power becomes three times less. In addition, it is found that the homogeneous and inhomogeneous linewidths should be small for nonlinear applications. The homogeneous and inhomogeneous broadenings need to be large enough for linear applications.

The Damaging Effects of Abstracting the Deep Aquifers’Groundwater in Jordan-Quality Constraints

The deep aquifers in Jordan contain non-renewable and fossil groundwater and their extraction is quasi a mining process, which ends in the depletion of these resources. Although aquifers in the majority of groundwater basins in Jordan are vertically and horizontally interconnected stratification in different water quality horizons with generally increasing water salinity with the depth is observed. Many officials and planners advocate the extraction of deep salty and brackish water to be desalinated and used in household, industrial, and agricultural uses. In this article, the quality of the groundwater in the different deep aquifers and areas in Jordan is discussed. The results of this study show that the consequences of the deep groundwater exploitation are not restricted to depletion of the deep aquifers but also that the overlying fresh groundwater will, due to vertical and horizontal interconnectedness of the different aquifers, percolate down to replace the extracted deep groundwater. This will cause the down-percolating fresh groundwater to become salinized in the deep saline aquifers, which means that extracting the deep brackish and saline groundwater is not only an emptying process of the deep groundwater but also it is an emptying process of the fresh groundwater overlying them. The results allow to conclude that any extraction of the deep groundwater in areas lying to the north of Ras en Naqab Escarpment will have damaging impacts on the fresh groundwater in the overlying fresh groundwater aquifers. This article strongly advises not to extract the deep brackish and saline groundwater, but to conserve that groundwater as a base supporting the overlying fresh groundwater resources, and that will help in protecting the thermal mineralized water springs used in spas originating from these deep aquifers. The increasing water needs of the country can be covered by the desalination of seawater at Aqaba, which is the only viable option for Jordan at present and

The a-amino acid derivatives constitute a class of compounds of particular medicinal and synthetic attention and considerable interest has been devoted to their synthesis in recent *** the present work,we develop the computational study of the synthesis reaction of new pyrazolyl a-amino esters derivatives using the Gaussian 09based on the DET/B3LYP density functional theorv method,with the base 6-31G(d.p)to ensure the possibility of carrying out these reactions within the laboratory of ***,this research has encouraged us to establish an economical synthesis strategy of these products in overall vields of 73.5%to 87%to have access to new active biomolecule through the O-alkvlation reaction between methyl a-azidoglycinate N-benzoylated and primary pyrazole alcohols(3,5-dimethyl-1 H-pyrazol-1-yl)methanol,(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methanol and(3-ethoxy-5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-1yl)methanoll under different operating *** structure of the prepared heterocyclic systems was characterized by conventional spectroscopic techniques,like H NMR.I3℃NMR,and *** results revealed that the experimental study is in good correlation with the computational one.

Another component in Pattern-Oriented and Model-Driven Architecture (POMA) is the concept of model generation. The generation code of models is the process of creating a source code from a model using generation rules. In this paper, we present the generation rules that are used to support the automated code generator of POMA architecture to generate the source code of the entire interactive system. These Platform-Specific Model (PSM) models are based on patterns which illustrate how several individual models of patterns can be generated at different levels of abstraction such as PSM models to source code in the development of interactive systems.

文化是世界市场全球化的一个重要层面,在和全球来自不同地区的不同人民建立生意关系时,需要触及并处理一些不同于自己的价值观的认知态度。此项研究旨在探究中国咖啡市场上文化对个人青睐品牌的影响,而这也将会对中国消费者的抉择产生至关重要的影响。综上文化提及,我们为此获得数据,通过组织调查问卷的形式,收集到了来自170名高校大学生的反馈。通过对数据的智能spss分析,结果显示：在自变量(面子、友谊、西方世界对文化的改观)和因变量(品牌忠诚度)之间有深远和明显的影响关系,而在(节俭)与青睐品牌之间没有明显的值得关注的地方。研究不足之处在于,地理位置仅限于确切范围内的武汉市!
