the increasing pressure from consumers and policy makers to reduce the use of synthetic polymers,whose production contributes to the depletion of non-renewable resources and are usually non-biodegradable,has prompted the efforts to find suitable bio-based sources for the production of *** oils have been a frequently spotted in this search because they are versatile,highly available and a low cost liquid biosource,which can be used in the synthesis of a wide plethora of different polymers and reactive *** the same idea of reducing the environmental stress,the traditional polyurethanes that are soluble in organic solvents have been targeted for replacement,particularly in applications such as adhesives and coatings,in which the solvent is released to the atmosphere increasing the air ***,waterborne polyurethanes(WBPU),which are polyurethane dispersions(PUD)prepared in aqueous media,release benign water to the atmosphere during use as supported or self-standing films for different *** this brief review,the contributions to the development of WBPUs based on vegetable oils are discussed,focusing mainly on the contributions of the last *** synthesis of ionic and nonionic PUDs,their characterization and the properties of the resulting dried materials,as well as derived composite materials are considered.

Impact of residual zircon on Nd-Hf isotope decoupling during sediment recycling in subduction zone

the subduction factories in convergent plate margins exert crucial control on recycling terrestrial components and returning to the overlying crust. the Nd and Hf isotopic systems provide potential tracers to evaluate these processes. Here we present a case where these isotopic systems are decoupled in a suite of granites from the Chinese Altai, showing a wide range of εHf(t) values(from -4.7 to +10.8) in contrast to a limited range of εNd(t) values(from -5.8 to -1.9). the zircon xenocrysts occurring frequently in these rocks show markedly negative εHf(t) values(from -34.3 to -6.5) and positive d7 Li values(from +12.5 to +18.2). We propose a model to explain the observed relationship between residual zircon and Nde Hf isotope decoupling. We suggest that the Altai granites originated from partial melting of subducted slab components under relatively low temperature conditions which aided the residual zircon from oceanic sediments to inherit and retain a significant amount of177 Hf in the source, thereby elevating the^(176) Hf/^(177) Hf ratio of the melt, and decoupling from the^(143) Nd/^(144) Nd ratio during the subsequent magmatic processes. Our study illustrates a case where sediment recycling in subduction zone contributes to decoupling of Nd and Hf isotopic systems, with former providing a more reliable estimate of the source characteristics of granitic magmas.

Salivation features depending on gender identity of patients

Objective to study the salivation features depending on gender identity of patients currently is of great interest because homeostasis in the oral cavity may change under the influence of social lifestyle,psychology and physiology of patient's gender. Given this,the study of the most important biological environment of the organism is relevant in different physiological stages of life. the aim of our study is to evaluate the characteristics of salivation depending on gender and sexual identity of patients,taking into account age and physiological periods of life. methods One hundred and seventy-five people,115 women and 60 men aged from 18 up to 75 years participated in the research conducted by us. Carried out dental inspection of patients,carried out questioning according to Fox's test for identification of existence or lack of a kserostomiya and also carried out collecting the mixed saliva at rest. Results Our results from people requested dental care revealed that there were more women with xerostomia than men and their symptom intensity was stronger. the frequency of manifestation of xerostomia was associated with physiological periods of their lives,with greater emotionality and exposure to stresses,and also with long medication intake. men were less analyzing the state of their health and noted better stress resistance to a different life situations. Xerostomia was found in them in the case of comorbidity,excessive consumption of sugar rich food and drinks,and less frequently as a result of stress. Conclusion For all patients suffering from false xerostomia were recommended the use of a moisturizing line "Kin Hydrate"to relieve the state of dryness in the mouth,as well as more thorough individual hygiene and intensive supervision by a dentist. the data collected require more careful attention of doctors to prevention of dental diseases,especially in vulnerable physiological periods of life,and changing lifestyle factors and social roles of men and women in to

Deposition and magnetic Properties of Fe_3O_4/Fe/Fe_3O_4 tri-layer Films

the Fe_3O_4/Fe/Fe_3O_4 (mIm) tri-layer films (200 nm/12-93 nm/200 um) were prepared on Si(100) by DC-magnetron reactive-sputtering followed by air- or vacuum-annealing at 280-400℃ for 1.5 h, respectively. magnetic properties and phases under different sandwich and annealing conditions were studied. In mIm structure, the incorporation of the interlayer iron does increase the magnetization measured under 8 kOe (m_8K), but reduce coercivity (H_c). the H_c of asdeposited films decreases from 354 Oe to 74 Oe; while m_8K increases from 254 to 392 emu/cc. By annealing in air, the whole mIm tri-layer film becomes γ-F_e2O_3, H_c is about 550 O_e and m_8K is around 250 emu/cc. the coercivity mechanism of as-deposited and annealed mIm trilayer films belongs to domain-wall pinning type. δm plots show that when the interlayer Fe thickness is 12 um, the Fe and Fe_3O_4 layers are decoupled in the as-deposited and annealed states; while it is coupled in the as deposited state when the Fe thickness increases to 23 um. Vacuum annealing of the mIm films leads to increase in both coercivity and magnetization, and to enhance the exchange coupling between layers.

micro injection of metallic glasses parts under ultrasonic vibration

this work investigates the evolution of structure and mechanical performance of metallic glasses（mGs）under a proposed rapid forming approach. through the unique ultrasonic-assisted micro injection method, micro mGs parts with fine dimensional accuracy were successfully fabricated. the temperature during the micro injection is higher than the glass transition temperature and lower than the crystallization temperature. Differential scanning calorimeter curve and X-ray diffraction pattern show that the mGs micro parts keep the amorphous nature after the ultrasonic-assisted micro injection. Our results propose a novel route for the fast forming of mGs and have promising applications in the rapid fabrication of micro scale products and devices.

Krüppel-like factors (KLFs) are evolutionarily conserved zinc finger-containing transcription factors with diverseregulatory functions in cell growth, proliferation, differentiation, and embryogenesis. KLF4 and KLF5 are two closelyrelated members of the KLF family that have a similar tissue distribution in embryos and adults. However, the two KLFsoften exhibit opposite effects on regulation of gene transcription, despite binding to similar, if not identical, cis-actingDNA sequences. In addition, KLF4 and 5 exert contrasting effects on cell proliferation in many instances; while KLF4is an inhibitor of cell growth, KLF5 stimulates proliferation. Here we review the biological properties and biochemicalmechanisms of action of the two KLFs in the context of growth regulation.

Blast-wave-driven hydrodynamic instabilities are studied in the presence of a background B-field through experiments and simulations in the high-energy-density(HED)physics *** experiments conducted at the Laboratoire pour l’utilisation des lasers intenses(LULI),a laserdriven shock-tube platform was used to generate a hydrodynamically unstable interface with a prescribed sinusoidal surface perturbation,and short-pulse x-ray radiography was used to characterize the instability growth with and without a 10-t *** LULI experiments were modeled in FLASH using resistive and ideal magnetohydrodynamics(mHD),and comparing the experiments and simulations suggests that the Spitzer model implemented in FLASH is necessary and sufficient for modeling these planar *** results suggest insufficient amplification of the seed B-field,due to resistive diffusion,to alter the hydrodynamic *** the ideal-mHD simulations did not represent the experiments accurately,they suggest that similar HED systems with dynamic plasma-β(=2μ_(0)ρv^(2)/B^(2))values of less than∼100 can reduce the growth of blast-wave-driven Rayleigh–taylor *** findings validate the resistive-mHD FLASH modeling that is being used to design future experiments for studying B-field effects in HED plasmas.

Linear free energy relationships between stability of complex and basicity of ligand Ⅶ. the copper(Ⅱ)-heteronuclear aromatic base-aminoacid temary systems

the formation constants of ternary mixed ligand complex compounds formed fromCu（Ⅱ）-2,2'-bipyridyl （bipy） with N-（para-substituted phenyl） glycines （pRPhG）, Cu（Ⅱ）-1, 10-phenan-throline （phen） with N-（meta-substituted phenyl） glycines （mRPhG）, Cu（Ⅱ）--bipy/phen with someα-aminoacids （αA） have been determined by pH method at 25℃ in the presence of 0.10 m *** was found that linear free energy relationships do exist between the stability of ternary complexcompounds and the base strengths of the ligands in all four ternary systems investigated. the stabi-lity of the ternary complex compounds was discussed in terms of ΔlogKmand log X values. It wasfound again that linear relationships exist between Δ log Km, log X and p K2in the Cu （Ⅱ）-phen-mRPhGternary system.
