＜正＞ the rice-wheat cropping systems are of immense importance for cereal production in Bangladesh . But yield stagnation and yield decline are major threats to the sustainability of rice - wheat systems . Legumes considered as ameliorative crops can play an important role for the sustainability of this cereal - cereal cropping system . mung bean , especially recent high yielding photoperiod insensitive short duration varieties is the most important legume , can be fitted well in different cropping pattern in different seasons in Bangladesh . there are greater scope for placing this crop in windows of cereal - cereal cropping system . Geographic Information System is a powerful tool to asses the potential areas suitable for crop production . the present study is aimed at using GIS as a tool for spatial data analysis to assess crop suitability classification for mung bean in different AEZ of Bangladesh in rice - wheat cropping system . Parameters from AEZ soil association database have been ranked , converted to grid format and spatial model is constructed for potential mung bean cultivable area estimation . three suitability classes are categorized as 1 for suitable , 2 for moderately suitable and 3 for not suitable . the model is constructed for overlay operation using the Arc View interactive model Builder . After the overlay analysis , suitability map for mung bean cultivation is produced . In Bangladesh with limited land resources having declining productivity , it is important to characterize each unit of land for best utilization through efficient land use planning . the output maps will be used as a guideline for technology transfer and expansion of this valuable pulse crop and contribute to the sustainability of rice -wheat system .

Predicting grain size-dependent superplastic properties in friction stir processed ZK30 magnesium alloy with machine learning methods

the aim of this work is to predict,for the first time,the high temperature flow stress dependency with the grain size and the underlaid deformation mechanism using two machine learning models,random forest(RF)and artificial neural network(ANN).With that purpose,a ZK30 magnesium alloy was friction stir processed(FSP)using three different severe conditions to obtain fine grain microstructures(with average grain sizes between 2 and 3μm)prone to extensive superplastic *** three friction stir processed samples clearly deformed by grain boundary sliding(GBS)deformation mechanism at high *** maximum elongations to failure,well over 400% at high strain rate of 10^(-2)s^(-1),were reached at 400℃ in the material with coarsest grain size of 2.8μm,and at 300℃ for the finest grain size of 2μ***,the superplastic response decreased at 350℃ and 400℃ due to thermal instabilities and grain coarsening,which makes it difficult to assess the operative deformation mechanism at such *** work highlights that the machine learning models considered,especially the ANN model with higher accuracy in predicting flow stress values,allow determining adequately the superplastic creep behavior including other possible grain size scenarios.

the combined effects of farm yard manure and boron application on growth,and oil quality of Canola grown under newly reclaimed soils

two field experiments were conducted during the main seasons of 2021/2022 at the Research and Production Station of National Research Centre in Egypt to investigate the effects of farmyard manure(FYm)and boron on Canola growth,yield,oil yield,and *** results unequivocally demonstrated that the combined application of FYm at a rate of 14.4 ton ha^(-1)with a foliar spray of boron at 100 ppm positively influenced plant characteristics,leading to enhanced growth rates and higher yields compared to the control ***,this integrated approach significantly improved nutrient content by enhancing levels of oil content,carbohydrates,proteins,phenolics,flavonoids,and total soluble *** findings provide compelling evidence that utilizing farm manure along with boron can effectively enhance Canola properties in newly reclaimed soils while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Spinel ferrites exhibit exceptional magnetic properties,making them a distinctive class of magnetic *** sol-gel technique was utilized for the synthesis of spinel ferrites with the chemical formula Co_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4). An integrated computational method for calculating dynamic thermal bridges of building facades in tropical countries

Identifying thermal bridges on building façades has been a great challenge for architects,especially during the conceptual design *** is not only due to the complexity of parameters when calculating thermal bridges,but also lack of feature integration between building energy simulation(BES)tools and the actual building *** example,existing BES tools predominantly calculate thermal bridges only in steady state without considering the temperature dynamic behaviour of building ***,relevant features such as thermal delay,decrement factor,and operative temperature are often neglected,and this can lead to miscalculation of energy *** study then proposes an integrated method to calculate dynamic thermal bridges under transient conditions by incorporating field observations and computational simulations of thermal *** specifically,the proposed method employs several measurement tools such as HOBO data logger to record the actual conditions of indoor and outdoor room temperature and thermal cameras to identify the surface temperature of selected building *** actual datasets are then integrated with the simulation workflow developed in BES *** study ultimately enables architects not only to identify potential thermal bridges on existing building façades but also to support material and geometric exploration in early design phase.

QCD sum rule study of J^(P)=1^(±)exotic states with two heavy quarks in the molecular picture

In this study,the spectroscopic parameters of exotic molecular states composed of mesons containing two heavy quarks(scalar-axial and pseudoscalar-axial meson combinations)are investigated within the QCD sum *** findings reveal that molecular states containing charm quarks do not form bound states,whereas states with b-quarks can form exotic molecular *** observation has significant implications for understanding the structure of these exotic states.

Analysis of strong decays of SU(3)partners ofΩ(2012)baryon

We estimate the coupling constants and decay widths of the SU(3)partners of theΩ(2012)hyperon,as discovered by the BELLE Collaboration,using the distribution amplitudes of the octet baryons within the light cone sum rules *** study includes a comparison of the obtained results for the relevant decay widths with those derived within the framework of the flavor SU(3)*** observe a good agreement between the predictions of both ***,our result on the decay width ofΩ→ΞK is compatible with the existing experimental result within the uncertainties of the model *** results can provide helpful insights for determining the nature of the SU(3)partners of theΩ(2012)baryon.

Distribution, health and ecological risk assessments of trace elements in Nigerian oil sands

the Nigerian oil sands represent the largest oil sand deposit in Africa, yet there is little published information on the distribution and potential health and ecological risks of trace elements in the oil resource. In the present study, we investigated the distribution pattern of 18trace elements(including biophile and chalcophile elements) as well as the estimated risks associated with exposure to these elements. the results of the study indicated that Fe was the most abundant element, with a mean concentration of 22,131 mg/kg while Br had the lowest mean concentration of 48 mg/kg. the high occurrence of Fe and ti suggested a possible occurrence of ilmenite(Fe tiO_(3)) in the oil sands. Source apportionment using positive matrix factorization showed that the possible sources of detected elements in the oil sands were geogenic, metal production, and crustal. the contamination factor, geo-accumulation index, modified degree of contamination, pollution load index, and Nemerow pollution index indicated that the oil sands are heavily polluted by the elements. Health risk assessment showed that children were relatively more susceptible to the potentially toxic elements in the oil sands principally via ingestion exposure route(HQ > 1E-04). Cancer risks from inhalation are unlikely due to CR t ingestion and dermal contact pose severe risks(CR > 1E-04). the high concentrations of the elements pose serious threats due to the potential for atmospheric transport, bioaccessibility, and bioavailability.

the Spectrum of Nail Disorders in Patients with End-Stage Renal Disease Undergoing Conservative treatment: A Case-Control Study

Objective: Various nail disorders have been reported in patients with chronic kidney disease. However, few studies have investigated nail disorders in patients with advanced chronic kidney disease. this study focused on nail disorders seen in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) undergoing conservative treatment. methods: A case-control study was conducted at Baraha medical City in Khartoum State, Sudan. Data on patients with ESRD who were on conservative treatment and presented for follow-up between march and September 2021 were collected. Patients' demographic features, nail findings on clinical examination, and laboratory results were recorded. the obtained data were compared with those on age- and sex-matched healthy individuals from the general population. the chi-square test and Student t test were performed to analyze categorical and numerical variables, respectively. Results: Data on 78 patients with ESRD were studied. their mean age was 54.6 ± 17.6 years, and 45 (57.7%) were men. these patients were compared with 129 controls. Nail disorders were seen in 65 (83.3%) ESRD patients and 86 (66.6%) controls (P = 0.009). Patients with ESRD were found to be at increased relative risk of developing a wide spectrum of nail disorders. An absent lunula, half-and-half nails, nail dystrophy, terry's nails, onychomycosis, and koilonychia were the most common disorders and were seen in 44 (56.4%), 13 (16.7%), 10 (12.8%), 9 (11.5%), 6 (7.7%), and 5 (6.4%) patients, respectively. Patients with ESRD had a statistically significant risk of developing above diseases (all P the current study demonstrated a wide spectrum of nail disorders in patients with ESRD undergoing conservative treatment. tensile Strain Capacity Prediction of Engineered Cementitious Composites (ECC) Using Soft Computing techniques

Plain concrete is strong in compression but brittle in tension,having a low tensile strain capacity that can significantly degrade the long-term performance of concrete structures,even when steel reinforcing is *** order to address these challenges,short polymer fibers are randomly dispersed in a cement-based matrix to forma highly ductile engineered cementitious composite(ECC).thismaterial exhibits high ductility under tensile forces,with its tensile strain being several hundred times greater than conventional *** concrete is inherently weak in tension,the tensile strain capacity(tSC)has become one of the most extensively researched *** a result,developing a model to predict the tSC of the ECC and to optimize the mixture proportions becomes ***,the effort required for laboratory trial batches to determine the tSC is *** achieve the research objectives,five distinct models,artificial neural network(ANN),nonlinear model(NLR),linear relationship model(LR),multi-logistic model(mLR),and m5P-tree model(m5P),are investigated and employed to predict the tSCof ECCmixtures containing fly *** from115 mixtures are gathered and analyzed to develop a new *** input variables include mixture proportions,fiber length and diameter,and the time required for curing the various *** model’s effectiveness is evaluated and verified based on statistical parameters such as R2,mean absolute error(mAE),scatter index(SI),root mean squared error(RmSE),and objective function(OBJ)***,the ANN model outperforms the others in predicting the tSC of the ECC,with RmSE,mAE,OBJ,SI,and R2 values of 0.42%,0.3%,0.33%,0.135%,and 0.98,respectively.
