Investigating zeolites as hydrogen storage scaffolds is imperative due to their porous nature and favorable physicochemical ***,the storage capacity of the unmodified zeolites has been rather unsatisfactory(0.224%-1.082%(mass))compared to its modified ***,the contemporary focus on enhancing hydrogen storage capacities has led to significant attention towards the utilization of modified zeolites,with studies exploring surface modifications through physical and chemical treatments,as well as the integration of various active *** enhanced hydrogen storage properties of zeolites are attributed to the presence of aluminosilicates from alkaline and alkaline-earth metals,resulting in increased storage capacity through interactions with the charge density of these ***,there is a great demand to critically review their role such as well-defined topology,pore structure,good thermal stability,and tunable hydrophilicity in enhanced hydrogen *** article aimed to critically review the recent research findings based on modified zeolite performance for enhanced hydrogen *** of the factors affecting the hydrogen storage capacities of zeolites that can affect the rate of reaction and the stability of the adsorbent,like pressure,structure,and morphology were studied,and ***,future perspectives,recommendations,and directions for modified zeolites were discussed.

the main cable bent around the saddle of the suspension bridge is subjected to the wind,the vehicle,the bridge’s own weight and the corrosive *** coupling of the three loads and the environments causes the friction,the corrosion,and the fatigue(tribo-corrosion-fatigue)among the wires inside the main *** this paper,a wire bending tribo-corrosion-fatigue test rig was designed and *** effect of fatigue load on the bending friction behaviors between the cable wires in ultrapure water and 3.5%NaCl solution was *** tribological properties and electrochemical corrosion behaviors under different fatigue loading ranges were *** tribo-corrosion-fatigue interaction between the cable wires was quantitatively characterized,and the mechanism of the interaction was *** results demonstrate that the increasing fatigue load exacerbates the coupling damage of the cable wires attributed to the enhanced *** findings carry theoretical importance when assessing the main cable’s deterioration and the load-bearing safety of a suspension bridge.

Sprouts are ready-to-eat and are recognized worldwide as functional components of the human *** advances in innovative agricultural techniques could enable an increase in the production of healthy *** use of light-emitting diode(LED)in indoor agricultural production could alter the biological feedback loop,increasing the functional beneﬁts of plant foods such as wheat and lentil sprouts and promoting the bioavailability of *** effects of white(W),red(R),and blue(B)light were investigated on the growth parameters and nutritional value of wheat and lentil *** the laboratory,seeds were sown under three different LED treat-ments:white,red,and blue light,while normal incandescent light served as a *** seed germina-tion improved by 18.34%and 12.67%for wheat and 18.34%and 12.67%for lentil sprouts under LED treatments R and B,*** increase in total soluble protein and sugar by 33.4%and 9.23%in wheat and by 31.5%and 5.87%in lentils was observed under the R LED *** C concentrations in wheat and lentils were signiﬁcantly increased by R LED compared to all other *** parameters,including potassium and sodium concentrations,were signiﬁcantly increased under red and blue light compared to the control;white light,on the other hand,signiﬁcantly decreased all these *** to the experimental data,red and blue LED light could be beneﬁcial in the production of functional wheat and lentil sprouts with high nutrient concentrations.

Plant assemblage and diversity variation with human disturbances in coastal habitats of the western Arabian Gulf

Knowledge about plant diversity along disturbance gradients is essential for conservation and management of fragmented coastal *** study examined the effects of human disturbance intensity in coastal habitats of Kuwait on diversity,composition,identity and assemblage of vascular plant *** survey data from 113 plots （5m×5m each） were randomly selected in 51 sites at coastal fragmented habitats at three levels of disturbance intensities （high,moderate and low） and were statistically *** results revealed that about 76% of the recorded species are considered threatened species in Kuwait,most of which are being lost in high disturbed *** led to the dominance of Zygophyllum qatarense,Cornulaca aucheri and Salsola imbricata,which are species of disturbance ***,total plant cover and species diversity were higher in moderate and low disturbed habitats than in high disturbed *** diversity between high and low disturbed habitats was higher than either between high and moderate,or between moderate and low disturbed *** analyses showed statistically significant differences in composition of plant assemblages,which indicate high beta diversity between the habitat *** urbanization and industrialization are among the most serious threats that contribute to declines in biological diversity and rapid fragmentation of coastal habitats in *** protective enclosures in the disturbed habitats,planting endangered and vulnerable species,and establishing a natural reserve at Nuwaiseeb are recommended conservation actions to avoid loss of the fragmented coastal habitats and to facilitate restoration of native plants.

Radionuclides measurements and mineralogical studies on beach sands, East Rosetta Estuary, Egypt

Radiometric measurements were carried out for the beach sands from East Rosetta estuary to determine the activity concentrations of 238 U, 226 Ra, 232 th, and 40 K, using a Hyper Pure Germanium spectrometer, to estimate the dose rates and radiation hazard indices. the average specific activities are 778.20 Bq/kg for 238 U; 646.89 Bq/kg for 226 Ra; 621.92 and 627.85 Bq/kg for the 222 Rn daughters 214 Pb and 214 Bi respectively. the average specific activity of 232 th is 1510.25 Bq/kg, while the calculated specific activity for 40 K has an average of 8.41 Bq/kg. the average specific activity of 235 U is 38.61 Bq/kg. the average absorbed dose rate is 1211.36 nGy/h, 20 times higher than the estimated average global primordial radiation of 60 nGy/h and 6 times higher than that of the world range (10-200 nGy/h). the radium equivalent (Ra eq ) values are from 6 to 9 times the recommended value. the internal and external hazard indices (H int , H ex ) indicate that their values are from 6 to 11 times the permissible values of these indices. these higher values may be due to the presence of economic heavy minerals containing radionuclides as zircon and monazite as well as some trace minerals, thorite and uranothorite. the mineralogical study indicates the beach sands contain heavy minerals, zircon, monazite, rutile, ilmenite, leucoxene, magnetite and garnet. the average abundance of zircon is 0.175 wt% ranging from 0.125 wt% to 0.239 wt%, while it is 0.004wt% ranging from 0.001 wt% to 0.007 wt% for monazite. the average abundance is 0.087 wt% for rutile; 2.029 wt% for ilmenite; 1.084 wt% for magnetite; 0.384 wt% for leucoxene and 0.295 wt% for garnet.

Braking efficiency is characterized by reduced braking time and distance,and therefore passenger safety depends on the design of the braking *** the braking of a vehicle,the braking system must dissipate the kinetic energy by transforming it into heat energy.A too high temperature can lead to an almost total loss of braking *** excessive rise in brake temperature can also cause surface cracks extending to the outside edge of the drum friction *** transfer and temperature gradient,not to forget the vehicle’s travel environment(high speed,heavy load,and steeply sloping road conditions),must thus be the essential criteria for any brake system *** aim of the present investigation is to analyze the thermal behavior of different brake drum designs during the single emergency braking of a heavy-duty vehicle on a steeply sloping *** calculation of the temperature field is performed in transient mode using a three-dimensional finite element model assuming a constant coefficient of *** this study,the influence of geometrical brake drum configurations on the thermal behavior of brake drums with two different materials in grey cast iron FG200 and aluminum alloy 356.0 reinforced with silicon carbide(SiC)particles is analyzed under extreme vehicle braking *** numerical simulation results obtained using FE software ANSYS are qualitatively compared with the results already published in the literature.

Influence of Various Hydrocolloids on Suspension Stability of Chia Seeds (Salvia hispanica L.) in Mango Beverage and Mango Flavored Beverage

With the developing of juices and beverages industry, the processors need to bring new nutritional fortified products to capture the market as per the demand of the consumer who needs healthier product. thus, this study aimed to the production of mango beverage and mango flavored beverage fortified with chia seeds;evaluate the chemical properties of chia seeds and study the effect of adding carboxymethyl cellulose, xanthan gum and low acyl gellan gum at the concentrations of 0.05% and 0.1% on the stability of suspension chia seeds in beverage during storage at ambient temperature for six months. Viscosity, color, zeta potential, suspension of seeds and organoleptic properties were evaluated. Results showed that chia seeds were rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids and dietary fiber. the addition of 0.05% gellan gum led to improved appearance attributes and the highest stability of suspension of chia seeds for six months, and was the sample which scored highest for overall acceptability compared to the other samples of beverages. Results indicated that using chia seeds with the addition of 0.05% low acyl gellan gum led to the production of fortified mango beverage and mango flavored beverage with high stability for six months.

Recently,developments of Internet and cloud technologies have resulted in a considerable rise in utilization of online media for day to day *** results in illegal access to users’private data and compromises *** is a popular attack which tricked the user into accessing malicious data and gaining the *** identification of phishing emails can be treated as an essential process in the domain of *** article focuses on the design of bio-geography based optimization with deep learning for Phishing Email detection and classification(BBODL-PEDC)*** major intention of the BBODL-PEDC model is to distinguish emails between legitimate and *** BBODL-PEDC model initially performs data pre-processing in three levels namely email cleaning,tokenization,and stop word ***,tF-IDF model is applied for the extraction of useful feature ***,optimal deep belief network(DBN)model is used for the email classification and its efficacy can be boosted by the BBO based hyperparameter tuning *** performance validation of the BBODL-PEDC model can be performed using benchmark dataset and the results are assessed under several *** comparative studies reported the superior outcomes of the BBODL-PEDC model over the recent approaches.

Corrosion Behaviour of Nickel in Chloroacetic Acids and its Inhibition

Anodic dissolution behaviour of Ni in mono-, di- and trichloroacetic acids has been investigated by measuring current densities of Ni electrode (versus SCE) at different potentials. Effects of acid concentration, pH, scan rate and additive inhibitor on the potential were studied and they revealed that there is a considerable shift of potential. Potentiodynamic polarization measurements show that the corrosion rate of Ni in chloroacetic acid solutions increases by increasing the previous factors. However, by adding inhibitor, it decreases.
