The dominance of Android in the global mobile market and the open development characteristics of this platform have resulted in a significant increase in *** malicious applications have become a serious concern to the security of Android *** address this problem,researchers have proposed several machine-learning models to detect and classify Android malware based on analyzing features extracted from Android ***,most existing studies have focused on the classification task and overlooked the feature selection process,which is crucial to reduce the training time and maintain or improve the classification *** current paper proposes a new Android malware detection and classification approach that identifies the most important features to improve classification performance and reduce training *** proposed approach consists of two main ***,a feature selection method based on the Attention mechanism is used to select the most important ***,an optimized Light Gradient Boosting Machine(LightGBM)classifier is applied to classify the Android samples and identify the *** feature selection method proposed in this paper is to integrate an Attention layer into a multilayer perceptron neural *** role of the Attention layer is to compute the weighted values of each feature based on its importance for the classification *** evaluation of the approach has shown that combining the Attention-based technique with an optimized classification algorithm for Android malware detection has improved the accuracy from 98.64%to 98.71%while reducing the training time from 80 to 28 s.

In this study,we conducted a search for dark matter using a part of the data recorded by the CMs experiment during run-I of the LHC in 2012 with a center of mass energy of 8 TeV and an integrated luminosity of 11.6 fb−*** data were gathered from the CMs open *** matter,in the framework of the simplified model(mono-Z′),can be produced from proton-proton collisions in association with a new hypothetical gauge boson,Z′.Thus,the search was conducted in the dimuon plus large missing transverse momentum *** benchmark scenario of mono-Z′,which is known as light vector,was used for interpreting the CMs open *** evidence of dark matter was observed,and exclusion limits were set on the masses of dark matter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

In standard iris recognition systems,a cooperative imaging framework is employed that includes a light source with a near-infrared wavelength to reveal iris texture,look-and-stare constraints,and a close distance requirement to the capture *** these conditions are relaxed,the system’s performance significantly deteriorates due to segmentation and feature extraction ***,a novel segmentation algorithm is proposed to correctly detect the pupil and limbus boundaries of iris images captured in unconstrained ***,the algorithm scans the whole iris image in the Hue saturation Value(HsV)color space for local maxima to detect the sclera *** image quality is then assessed by computing global features in red,green and blue(RGB)space,as noisy images have heterogeneous *** iris images are accordingly classified into seven categories based on their global RGB *** the classification process,the images are filtered,and adaptive thresholding is applied to enhance the global contrast and detect the outer iris ***,to characterize the pupil area,the algorithm scans the cropped outer ring region for local minima values to identify the darkest area in the iris *** experimental results show that our method outperforms existing segmentation techniques using the UBIRIs.v1 and v2 databases and achieved a segmentation accuracy of 99.32 on UBIRIs.v1 and an error rate of 1.59 on UBIRIs.v2.

Objective:To evaluate the influences of entrepreneurship training on the innovation potential among nursing ***:A quasi-experimental design was utilized to conduct this *** study was conducted in the classroom at the faculty of nursing,and the“i Hub”center at Ain shams University(AsU)in Cairo,Egypt.A purposive sample of 42 nursing students who participated in the“Ain shams University-innovate”competition from the Faculty of Nursing of AsU were included in this *** collection tools included(1)Nursing students'innovation skills assessment questionnaire and(2)Innovative projects evaluation ***:There was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of nursing students'total innovation skills pre-and post-implementation of entrepreneurship training,where P-valuesults of the current study support the research hypothesis because the implementation of entrepreneurship training positively affects nursing students'innovation *** entrepreneurship education in nursing and integrating it into nursing programs will stimulate creativity,innovation,and entrepreneurship among nursing students and health care services.

AIM:To investigate the influence of ophthalmic viscoelastic devices(OVDs)and different surgical approaches on the intraocular pressure(IOP)before and after creation of the curvilinear circular capsulorhexis(CCC)as a measure for anterior chamber stability during this ***:Prospective experimental WetLab study carried out on enucleated porcine *** was measured before and after CCC with the iCare Rebound tonometer(iCare ic200;iCare Finland Oy,Vantaa,Finland).The OVDs used were a cohesive one[Z-Hyalin,Carl Zeiss Meditec AG,Germany;hyaluronic acid(HA)]and a dispersive[Z-Celcoat,Carl Zeiss Meditec AG,Germany;hydroxy propylmethylcellulosis(HPMC)].The CCC was created using Utrata forceps or 23 g microforceps in different combinations with the ***:Using the Utrata forceps the IOP dropped from 63.65±6.44 to 11.25±3.63 mm Hg during the *** use of different OVDs made no *** the 23 g microforceps the IOP dropped from 65.35±8.15 to 36.55±6.09 mm *** difference between IOP drop using either Utrata forceps or 23 g microforceps was highly significant regardless of the OVD ***:Using the sideport for the creation of the capsulorhexis leads to a lesser drop in IOP during this maneuver compared to the main incision in enucleated porcine *** use of different OVD has no significant influence on IOP drop.

Background The World Health Organization recommends the use of schisto point-of-care circulating cathodic anti-gens(schisto POC-CCA)for screening of schistosoma mansoni as it offers better sensitivity than ***,there are limitation facing the use of this method including timely availability of the test *** aim of this study was to determine the reliability of dried urine spot(DUs)method for collection of urine and detection of *** using schisto POC-CCA cassettes in a resource-limited *** A cross-sectional study was conducted between October and November 2022 among 250 primary school children in sengerema District,northwestern *** CCA was detected in filter paper-based DUss,liquid urine using DUs schisto POC-CCA(index),and direct urine schisto POC-CCA(comparator)methods *** eggs in stool were detected using duplicate Kato-Katz(KK)*** measures of accuracy were com-puted and compared between the index and comparator *** strength of agreement between inter-raters precisions was tested using Cohen's kappa(k).Results This study revealed *** prevalence rates of 28.8%,54.0%and 50.8%by duplicate KK,direct urine schisto POC-CCA and DUs schisto POC-CCA methods *** mean intensity of infection among infected participants Was 86.3 eggs per gram of stool(EPG)ranging from 12.0 EPG to 824.0 *** sensitivity of DUs schisto POC-CCA and direct urine schisto POC-CCA Was 94.44%(95%CI:89.15-99.74%)and 97.22%(95%CI:93.43-100.00%)*** DUs schisto POC-CCA method had slightly higher specificity(66.85%)than direct urine schisto POC-CCA method(63.48%).The accuracy of the DUs schisto POC-CCA Was found to be slightly high(74.80%,95%CI:68.94-79.06%)compared to that of direct urine schisto POC-CCA(73.20%,95%CI:67.25-78.59%).There was good agreement between two laboratory technologists who performed the DUs schisto POC-CCA method on similar samples(k=0.80,95%CI:0.59-0.95).Con

Verticillium longisporum(Vl43)is a soilborne hemibiotrophic fungal pathogen causing stem striping on oilseed rape(OsR)and severe yield *** for resistant varieties is the most promising approach to control this ***,we report the identification of Hva22c as a novel susceptibility factor and its potential for improving OsR ***22c is a member of the Hva22 gene family,originally described for barley(Hordeum vulgare).several Hva22 members have been located at the endoplasmic ***22c is up-regulated in response to Vl43 in both Arabidopsis and *** demonstrate that knock-out of Hva22c in OsR by CRIsPR/Cas9 and its homolog in Arabidopsis by T-DNA insertion reduced plants’susceptibility to Vl43 infection and impaired the development of disease *** understand the underlying mechanism,we analysed transcriptomic data from infected and non-infected roots of hva22c knock-out and wild type *** identified a homozygous mutant with frame-shifts in all four BnHva22c loci displaying a vastly altered transcriptional landscape at 6 ***,a large set of genes was suppressed under mock conditions including genes related to the endomembrane *** the up-regulated genes we found several defense-related and phytohormone-responsive genes when comparing mutant to the wild *** results demonstrate that Hva22c is functionally required for a fully compatible plant-fungus *** loss of function reduces plant susceptibility,most likely due to endoplasmatic reticulum and Golgi dysfunction accompanied by additionally activated defense *** findings can help improve OsR resistance to *** infection.

In this study, a hybrid machine learning (HML)-based approach, incorporating Genetic data analysis (GDA), is proposed to accurately identify the presence of adenomatous colorectal polyps (ACRP) which is a crucial early detector of colorectal cancer (CRC). The present study develops a classification ensemble model based on tuned hyperparameters. surpassing accuracy percentages of early detection approaches used in previous studies, the current method exhibits exceptional performance in identifying ACRP and diagnosing CRC, overcoming limitations of CRC traditional methods that are based on error-prone manual examination. Particularly, the method demonstrates the following CRP identification accuracy data: 97.7 ± 1.1, precision: 94.3 ± 5, recall: 96.0 ± 3, F1-score: 95.7 ± 4, specificity: 97.3 ± 1.2, average AUC: 0.97.3 ± 0.02, and average p-value: 0.0425 ± 0.07. The findings underscore the potential of this method for early detection of ACRP as well as clinical use in the development of CRC treatment planning strategies. The advantages of this approach are highly expected to contribute to the prevention and reduction of CRC mortality.
