Astrophysical s-factor and reaction rate for 15N(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

We study radiative p^(15)N capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(mPCm)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)N(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)s_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)m1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy s-factor,and the extrapolated s(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(AC)for the ^(15)N(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the s-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong impact of the interference of ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CNO Gamow windows,especially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade transitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)N(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the mPCm and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

As big data becomes an apparent challenge to handle when building a business intelligence(BI)system,there is a motivation to handle this challenging issue in higher education institutions(HEIs).monitoring quality in HEIs encompasses handling huge amounts of data coming from different *** paper reviews big data and analyses the cases from the literature regarding quality assurance(QA)in *** also outlines a framework that can address the big data challenge in HEIs to handle QA monitoring using BI dashboards and a prototype dashboard is presented in this *** dashboard was developed using a utilisation tool to monitor QA in HEIs to provide visual representations of big *** prototype dashboard enables stakeholders to monitor compliance with QA standards while addressing the big data challenge associated with the substantial volume of data managed by HEIs’QA *** paper also outlines how the developed system integrates big data from social media into the monitoring dashboard.

Using neural network modeling to improve the detection accuracy of land subsidence due to groundwater withdrawal

Despite the high efficiency of remote sensing methods for rapid and large-scale detection of subsidence phenomena,this technique has limitations such as atmospheric impact and temporal and spatial decorrelation that affect the accuracy of the *** paper proposes a method based on an artificial neural network to improve the results of monitoring land subsidence due to groundwater overexploitation by radar interferometry in the aliabad plain(Central Iran).In this regard,vertical ground deformations were monitored over 18 months using the sentinel-1A sAr *** model the land subsidence by a multilayer perceptron(mLP)artificial neural network,four parameters,including groundwater level,alluvial thickness,elastic modulus,and transmissivity have been *** model's generalizability was assessed using data derived for 144 *** to the results,the neural network estimates the land subsidence at each ground point with an accuracy of 6.8 mm.A comparison between the predicted and actual values indicated a significant *** mLP model can be used to improve the results of subsidence detection in the study area or other areas with similar characteristics.

Background:many kinds of orchids have significant health benefits although ade-quate research on their biological functions is yet to be carried *** study inves-tigated the paracetamol-induced liver damage-protecting effect of epiphytic Aerides odorata methanol extract(AODE).methods:The protective effects of AODE were studied by analyzing its effect on liver function parameters,messenger rNA(mrNA)expression,and tissue histopatho-logical *** results were confirmed by ligand-receptor interaction of molecular docking and multitarget interaction of network pharmacological ***:AODE significantly(pminimized the dose-dependent increase in acid phosphatase,aspartate aminotransferase,alanine aminotransferase,alkaline phos-phatase,γ-glutamyl transferase,lactate dehydrogenase,and total bilirubin compared to the reference drug *** level decreased,and the antioxidant genes catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(sOD),β-actin,paraoxonase-1(PON1),and phosphofructokinase-1(PFK-1)were upregulated in AODE-treated paracetamol-intoxicated rats.A total of 376 compounds comprising phenols and flavonoids were identified using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight-mass spectrometry(UPLC-qTOF-ms).The online toxicity assessment using swissADmE and admetsAr exhibited drug-like,nontoxic,and potential pharmaco-logical ***,in silico analysis showed that isoacteoside,one of the identified compounds,exhibited the best docking score(−11.42)with the liver pro-tein human pituitary adenylate cyclase-1(Protein Data Bank ID:3N94).Furthermore,network pharmacology analysis identified the top 10 hub genes,namely AKT1(protein kinase B),CTNNB1(catenin beta-1),srC(proto-oncogene c-src),TNF(tumor necrosis factor),EGFr(epidermal growth factor receptor),HsP90AA1(heat shock protein 90α),mAPK3(mitogen-activated protein kinase 3),sTAT3(signal transducer and activator of transcription 3),CAsP3(caspase protein),

The hazardous environmental effects of greenhouse gas emissions and climate change demand alternative sources for cementitious materials in the construction *** development of geopolymer structures provides a way of producing 100%cement-free *** this research work,a novel and simple way of deriving nano particles from waste fly ash particles is *** effect of adding the synthesized nano fly ash particles as a filler medium in geopolymer mortars was investigated by considering strength and durability *** optimization was done by using regression analysis on the geopolymer mortar and the impact of adding nano fly ash particles was studied by varying different percentages of addition ranging from 0 to 7.5%by weight of binder *** the results,it was observed that 1%nano fly ash acted not only as a filler but also as nano-sized precursors of the polymer.zation process,resulting in denser geopolymer *** can explain the extraordinary gain in strength of 72.11 mPa as well as the denser core with negligible level of chloride ion penetration,making the material suitable for the development of structures susceptible to marine environment.

Internet of Things(IoTs)provides better solutions in various fields,namely healthcare,smart transportation,home,*** Denial of service(Dos)outbreaks in IoT platforms is significant in certifying the accessibility and integrity of IoT *** learning(DL)models outperform in detecting complex,non-linear relationships,allowing them to effectually severe slight deviations fromnormal IoT activities that may designate a Dos *** uninterrupted observation and real-time detection actions of DL participate in accurate and rapid detection,permitting proactive reduction events to be executed,hence securing the IoT network’s safety and ***,this study presents pigeon-inspired optimization with a DL-based attack detection and classification(PIODL-ADC)approach in an IoT *** PIODL-ADC approach implements a hyperparameter-tuned DL method for Distributed Denial-of-service(DDos)attack detection in an IoT ***,the PIODL-ADC model utilizes Z-score normalization to scale input data into a *** handling the convolutional and adaptive behaviors of IoT,the PIODL-ADCmodel employs the pigeon-inspired optimization(PIO)method for feature selection to detect the related features,considerably enhancing the recognition’s ***,the Elman recurrent Neural Network(ErNN)model is utilized to recognize and classify DDos ***,reptile search algorithm(rsA)based hyperparameter tuning is employed to improve the precision and robustness of the ErNN method.A series of investigational validations is made to ensure the accomplishment of the PIODL-ADC *** experimental outcome exhibited that the PIODL-ADC method shows greater accomplishment when related to existing models,with a maximum accuracy of 99.81%.

In the contemporary era,the global expansion of electrical grids is propelled by various renewable energy sources(rEss).Efficient integration of stochastic rEss and optimal power flow(OPF)management are critical for network *** study introduces an innovative solution,the Gaussian Bare-Bones Levy Cheetah Optimizer(GBBLCO),addressing OPF challenges in power generation systems with stochastic *** primary objective is to minimize the total operating costs of rEss,considering four functions:overall operating costs,voltage deviation management,emissions reduction,voltage stability index(VsI)and power loss ***,a carbon tax is included in the objective function to reduce carbon *** scrutiny,using modified IEEE 30-bus and IEEE 118-bus systems,validates GBBLCO’s superior performance in achieving optimal *** results demonstrate GBBLCO’s efficacy in six optimization scenarios:total cost with valve point effects,total cost with emission and carbon tax,total cost with prohibited operating zones,active power loss optimization,voltage deviation optimization and enhancing voltage stability index(VsI).GBBLCO outperforms conventional techniques in each scenario,showcasing rapid convergence and superior solution ***,GBBLCO navigates complexities introduced by valve point effects,adapts to environmental constraints,optimizes costs while considering prohibited operating zones,minimizes active power losses,and optimizes voltage deviation by enhancing the voltage stability index(VsI)*** research significantly contributes to advancing OPF,emphasizing GBBLCO’s improved global search capabilities and ability to address challenges related to local *** emerges as a versatile and robust optimization tool for diverse challenges in power systems,offering a promising solution for the evolving needs of renewable energy-integrated power grids.
