With a view to providing a tool to accurately model time series processes which may be corrupted with errors such as measurement,round-off and data aggregation,this study developedan integrated moving average(IMA)model with a transition matrix for the errors resulting ina convex combination of two ArMA *** on interest rates in the United States andNigeria were used to demonstrate the application of the formulated *** tools such asthe autocovariance function,maximum likelihood method,Newton–raphson iterative methodand Kolmogorov–Smirnov test statistic were employed to examine and fit the formulated specification to *** results showed that the proposed model provided a generalisation and amore flexible specification than the existing models of Ar error and ArMA error in fitting timeseries processes in the presence of errors.

This paper describes severe plastic deformation(SPD)procedures,which are utilized to form an ultrafine-grained structure in metallic *** the SPD process,a solid material sample is subjected to very high loads without a significant change in sample *** the present work,the high-pressure torsion(HPT)process,as one of the SPD techniques,which achieves a high degree of deformation and ensures refinement of the microstructure,will be discussed in more *** that grain size control is accepted as a method to obtain materials with desired characteristics,an overview of the properties of ultrafine-grained titanium-based biomaterials to be used in medicine is ***,particular attention is dedicated to the influences of HPT process parameters,primarily hydrostatic pressure,and number of revolutions during torsion,on the grain size and physical and mechanical characteristics(modulus of elasticity,microhardness,and tensile properties),corrosion resistance,and biocompatibility of the titanium-based biomaterials.A review of the literature indicates that titanium-based materials obtained by the SPD process show improved mechanical and physical properties without losing biocompatibility and corrosion resistance,which suggests that these methods of obtaining implants are something that should be further developed in the future.

The role of the rhizosphere microbiome remain crucial to human existence and can therefore not be over-looked,particularly with respect to plant growth,development and *** rhizosphere is the'home'for several genes,some of which are responsible for the various trait and features exhibited by *** microbes have been identified to inhabit the rhizosphere,some of which are the proteobacteria,nitrogen fixing bacteria,plant growth promoting rhizobacteria,mycorrhizal and myco-parasitic ***,chemical compounds such as amino acids(crystathionine and homoserine),which inhibits nematodes,carbohydrates(fructose),which enhance the growth of microorganisms,and sterols(sitosterol),which regulate plant growth,reside in the plant *** factors con-tributes to the existence and survival of these microbes,one being good agricultural practices,as some farming techniques negatively affects the soil microbial *** study therefore focused on the agricultural and health importance of the soil organisms,as well as the various techniques that can be employed to maintain the rhizosphere microbiome,despite the rise and intensification of various harmful land use *** will enable a better understanding of the soil rhizosphere conservation,restoration and sustainable use,specifically of degraded *** will avoid depleting or alternating the soil microbial content while aiming to ensure a healthy ecosystem,biodiversity,maximal crop produc-tivity,food security and all round sustainability,as targeted by the United Nation's Sustainable De-velopments Goals.

The aim of this work was to see whether Pseudomonas putida NWU12, Pseudomonas fluorescence NWU65, Vibrio fluvialis NWU37 and Ewingella americana NWU59 are beneficial to plants and are able to promote plant growth and development when inoculated as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPr). The four rhizobacteria were tested in vitro for PGPr activities and on spinach and pepper in pot experiments. The inoculants are all positive for ammonia (NH3 ), catalase, hydrogen cyanide (HCN), phosphate solubilization and siderophore production. Among the inoculants, E. americana NWU59 is oxidase negative. P. putida NWU12 and P. fluorescence NWU65 are producing indole-3-acetic acid (IAA). The inoculants exhibit some PGPr activities and thus tested in the screen-house. Treatments are control (water) and the four inoculants. rhizobacterial inoculants increase spinach (17.14%-21.43%) and pepper (15.0%-37.5%) plant heights over the control. Such inoculants have the potential of improving plant yield components and may be used as biofertilizer.

Tauopathies are a group of neurodegenerative diseases characterized by abnormal metabolism of the misfolded tau protein. Tau is encoded by the microtubule-associated protein tau gene(MAPT) and can be classified as either 3-repeat(3r) or 4-repeat(4r) based on the number of repeat domains from alternative splicing of exon 10 of the MAPT gene.

Land tenure security is pertinent to achieving the sustainable development agenda in cities where land is needed and useful for development *** empirical research has been done to prove the importance of tenure security for investment,resilience,conservation,food security,as well as health and well-being,but it has not been clarified if and how land tenure security could adequately influence place loyalty and satisfaction with the residential environment,as it is clear that place loyalty and satisfaction are pertinent to inclusive *** the case of Ibadan City,the study examined how different dimensions of tenure security could determine residents’place loyalty and *** study employed a survey cross-sectional research design to distribute 514 structured questionnaires to household heads across 4 sampled peri-urban local government areas while 452 were retrieved for *** regression analysis model was employed to understand the association between tenure security dimensions and satisfaction(as model I)and loyalty(as model II).For model I,F=8.640,P=0.000,r=0.555,and r^(2)=0.308 were obtained;while for model II,F=9.157,P=0.001,r=0.415,and r^(2)=0.173 were *** thus means that residents’place loyalty and satisfaction can partly be explained by tenure *** particular,respondents with no eviction experience,recognized property rights,and invulnerable to eviction have higher odds of being satisfied and ***,we recommend protection,improvement,and upgrading of land tenure security as one of the means to promote place loyalty and satisfaction,which is essential to achieving inclusive and sustainable development.

In engineering practice,it is often necessary to determine functional relationships between dependent and independent *** relationships can be highly nonlinear,and classical regression approaches cannot always provide sufficiently reliable ***,Machine Learning(ML)techniques,which offer advanced regression tools to address complicated engineering issues,have been developed and widely *** study investigates the selected ML techniques to evaluate their suitability for application in the hot deformation behavior of metallic *** ML-based regression methods of Artificial Neural Networks(ANNs),Support Vector Machine(SVM),Decision Tree regression(DTr),and Gaussian Process regression(GPr)are applied to mathematically describe hot flow stress curve datasets acquired experimentally for a medium-carbon *** the GPr method has not been used for such a regression task before,the results showed that its performance is the most favorable and practically unrivaled;neither the ANN method nor the other studied ML techniques provide such precise results of the solved regression analysis.
