EliteVec: Feature Fusion for Depression Diagnosis Using optimized Long Short-Term Memory Network

Globally,depression is perceived as the most recurrent and risky disor-der among young people and adults under the age of *** has a strong inﬂuence on the usage of words which can be observed in the form of written texts or stories posted on social *** the help of Natural Language Proces-sing(NLP)and Machine Learning(ML)techniques,the depressive signs expressed by people can be identiﬁed at the earliest stage from their Social Media *** proposed work aims to introduce an efﬁcacious depression detection model unifying an exemplary feature extraction scheme and a hybrid Long Short-Term Memory network(LSTM)*** feature extraction process combines a novel feature selection method called Elite Term Score(ETS)and Word2Vec to extract the syntactic and semantic information ***,the ETS method leverages the document level,class level,and corpus level prob-abilities for computing the weightage/score of the ***,the ideal and per-tinent set of features with a high ETS score is selected,and the Word2vec model is trained to generate the intense feature vector representation for the set of selected ***,the resultant word vector obtained is called EliteVec,which is fed to the hybrid LSTM model based on Honey Badger optimizer with population reduction technique(PHB)which predicts whether the input textual content is depressive or *** PHB algorithm is integrated to explore and exploit the opti-mal hyperparameters for strengthening the performance of the LSTM *** comprehensive experiments are carried out with two different Twitter depres-sion corpus based on accuracy and Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)*** results demonstrated that the proposed EliteVec+LSTM+PHB model outperforms the state-of-art models with 98.1%accuracy and 0.0559 RMSE.

Catalyst-free synthesis and mechanical characterization of TaC nanowires

TaC nanowires are expected to be an ideal reinforcing material in ultra-high-temperature ceramics. However, their growth mechanisms and mechanical properties remain unclear, and low-cost large-scale synthesis has not been realised. In this study,bulk synthesis of [100]-oriented TaC nanowires is accomplished by carbothermal synthesis through a direct vapor-solid mechanism. Thermal resonance test results show that the synthesized square TaC nanowires with cross-sectional side-lengths of 65 to 497 nm have a size-independent Young’s modulus of(510.6±12.6) GPa;very close to the corresponding values of their bulk counterparts, but differing considerably from previously published measurements. Molecular dynamics(MD) simulations show that TaC nanowires with side-lengths of above 15 nm have a constant Young’s modulus of 517 GPa, and size effects on the modulus values should only occur at side-lengths below 15 nm. During bending tests, the TaC nanowires fracture into several segments in a brittle mode, and exhibit an increasing fracture strain from 1.88% to 4.28% as their side-length decreases from 489 to 90 nm. Weibull statistics analyses and TEM observations indicate that the failure of the nanowires should be primarily dependent on the number and size of surface defects. MD simulations further reveal that the defect-free TaC nanowires fail brittlely at a theoretical strain up to 5.76%.

Estimation of power in low velocity vertical axis wind turbine

The present work involves in the construction of a vertical axis wind turbine and the determination of power. Various different types of turbine blades are considered and the optimum blade is selected. Mechanical components of the entire setup are built to obtain maximum rotation per minute. The mechanical energy is converted into the electrical energy by coupling coaxially between the shaft and the generator. This setup produces sufficient power for consumption of household purposes which is economic and easily available.

objective:To examine the magnitude and some risk factors of porcine eysticercosis in Bafut and Santa,two sub-divisions noted for pig farming in the North West Region of ***: A total of 499 pigs in 300 households were examined by tongue inspection and serologically by *** was sought on the age and sex of the animals,prevailing husbandry systems,types of feed,the state of each pen and the state of ***,a questionnaire was administered to the farmers to determine their awareness on taeniasis/cysticercosis and related ***:The prevalence of the disease was significantly higher in Santa(10.2%) than in Bafut(4.2%),although there was a higher level of awareness in both localities(62.3%).Age of pigs,traditional rearing systems(roaming,tethered,earth floor pen,raised floor pen),faecal disposal in the environmenl and poor sanitation significantly influenced the seroprevalence of porcine cysticercosis in both *** farmers(79.7%) used a combination of concentrate, grass and kitchen waste to feed *** loss from porcine cysticercosis was estimated at 346 900 CFA representing 2%of total ***:Control measures advanced here include sensitization campaigns,periodic examination and treatment of infected pigs by veterinarians,improved husbandry systems,proper use of standard latrines regularly inspected by sanitary officers,and sound hygienic and sanitary practices.

A graph G is said to be one modulo N-difference mean graph if there is an injective function f from the vertex set of G to the set , where N is the natural number and q is the number of edges of G and f induces a bijection from the edge set of G to given by and the function f is called a one modulo N-difference mean labeling of G. In this paper, we show that the graphs such as arbitrary union of paths, , ladder, slanting ladder, diamond snake, quadrilateral snake, alternately quadrilateral snake, , , , , friendship graph and admit one modulo N-difference mean labeling.

objective To assess the aging burden of hospitalization for heart failure in Chinese populations in *** The Macao Heart Failure Study consists of patients hospitalized with a diagnosis of acute heart failure(AHF)at Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário(the only public hospital that provides medical care for the approximately 600,000 residents of Macao)from January 2014 to December ***,we investigated the relationship between socioeconomic development and epidemiological characteristics of HF in *** we assessed the patients’clinical features and outcomes according to the age *** A total of 967 patients were included in the final *** median age at admission was 82 years *** advanced age at the admission of HF in Macao was significantly associated with a high-income level and the aging population *** heterogeneity existed in the epidemiological characteristics,clinical features,utilization of evidence-based therapies,short-and long-term outcomes,and prognostic utility of clinical variables among the different age *** Rapid economic development and significantly aging populations have produced a profound impact on the epidemiological characteristics of HF in Chinese *** decompensated heart failure(ADHF)is predominantly a disease of the elderly in Macao,and a significant heterogeneity exists in the clinical features,managements,and outcomes among different age ***-based risk stratification models and multidisciplinary HF teams are urgently needed to improve the management and outcomes of hospitalized heart failure(HHF)patients.

RF MEMS Based Reconfigurable Rectangular Slotted Self Similar Antenna

Wireless communication systems which require flexibility and reconfigurability in antenna systems faces main problems like antenna performance, size, weight and cost. A wide band Frequency Reconfigurable Rectangular Slotted Self Similar Antenna has been proposed in this paper. The rectangular slotted patch is repeated for two iterations at different scales and is separated by means of Radio Frequency Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (RF MEMS) switches in order to provide reconfigurability. The antenna can operate in three frequency bandsi.e. K-band, Ku-band and Ka-band by altering the states of RF MEMS switches. To avoid fringing effects and to improve antenna performance, quarter wavelength (λ/4) spacing is required between the antenna and the ground plane. However, a Reconfigurable Antenna requires different λ/4 spacing which is difficult to achieve using a common ground plane. So the Frequency Reconfigurable antenna is integrated with high impedance surface (HIS) like Electronic Band Gap (EBG) structures to suppress standing waves and surface waves with a unified profile thickness of 1.75 mm. The overall dimension of the proposed antenna along with RF MEMS Switch, feed element and HIS is about 8 mm × 8 mm × 1.75 mm. The simulated results of the proposed antenna reveal enhancement in antennas performance like Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR), Front to Back Ratio (FBR) and bandwidth when it is placed over HIS EBG. Also the radiation patterns of the proposed antenna when placed over EBG shows the suppression of side lobe and backward radiation.

In this paper, the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) implementation of self interference cancellation technique based on an adaptive LMS (Least Mean Square) algorithm is presented. By using the FPGA Virtex@6 HW module, the field data measured through a RF repeater is adopted to improve a signal quality and to reduce oscillation of the system due to the feedback interference signal coming from transmit antenna of a WCDMA radio repeater. As a result, the proposed module, which was simulated by Xilinx System Generator, a high efficiency and achievs the a similar performance in comparison with the implementation result. Because of FPGA implementation, the designed technique offers more flexibility than existing methods.
