Metamaterial Antenna is a subclass of antennas that makes use of metamaterial to improve *** antennas can overcome the bandwidth constraint associated with tiny *** learning is receiving a lot of interest in optimizing solutions in a variety of *** learning methods are already a significant component of ongoing research and are anticipated to play a critical role in today’s *** accuracy of the forecast is mostly determined by the model *** purpose of this article is to provide an optimal ensemble model for predicting the bandwidth and gain of the Metamaterial *** Vector Machines(SVM),Random Forest,K-Neighbors Regressor,and Decision Tree Regressor were utilized as the basic *** Adaptive Dynamic Polar Rose Guided Whale Optimization method,named AD-PRS-Guided WOA,was used to pick the optimal features from the *** suggested model is compared to models based on five variables and to the average ensemble *** findings indicate that the presented model using Random Forest results in a Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE)of(0.0102)for bandwidth and RMSE of(0.0891)for *** is superior to other models and can accurately predict antenna bandwidth and gain.

Effects of QCD Vacuum and the Instanton Induced-Contributions to the Nucleon Structure Functions

The instanton induced cross section in deep inelastic kinematics is a subject which people are tendentious to investigate it. Instanton induced contributions are well defined for the nucleon structure function. The non-perturbative contribution to the quark distributions of structure function, F2 (x, Q2 ), is considered within an instanton model for the QCD vacuum. We find that the structure function may possess numerically large non-perterbative contributions which are related to the violation of chirality and correspond to the correction of parton distribution of the leading twist. It is shown that the instantons give a negative contribution to the structure function at the NLO approximation. A comparison between our results, considering instantaon effect, and the case when we do not take this effect is done. Taking into account the instanton size, ρ, via the modified running coupling constant we get to a good agreement between our results at the NLO and NNLO approximations and the available experimental data, specially at the low values of the Bjorken variable x<0.1 which confirms the validity of our calculations.

Metaheuristic optimization algorithms present an effective method for solving several optimization problems from various types of applications and *** metaheuristics and evolutionary optimization algorithms have been emerged recently in the literature and gained widespread attention,such as particle swarm optimization(PSO),whale optimization algorithm(WOA),grey wolf optimization algorithm(GWO),genetic algorithm(GA),and gravitational search algorithm(GSA).According to the literature,no one metaheuristic optimization algorithm can handle all present optimization *** novel optimization methodologies are still *** Al-Biruni earth radius(BER)search optimization algorithm is proposed in this *** proposed algorithm was motivated by the behavior of swarm members in achieving their global *** search space around local solutions to be explored is determined by Al-Biruni earth radius calculation method.A comparative analysis with existing state-of-the-art optimization algorithms corroborated the findings of BER’s validation and testing against seven mathematical optimization *** results show that BER can both explore and avoid local *** has also been tested on an engineering design optimization *** results reveal that,in terms of performance and capability,BER outperforms the performance of state-of-the-art metaheuristic optimization algorithms.

Investigation of the preparation methodologies of Pd-Cu single atom alloy catalysts for selective hydrogenation of acetylene

Galvanic replacement, co-impregnation and sequential impregnation have been employed to prepare Pd-Cu bimetallic catalysts with less than 1 wt-% Cu and ca. 0.03 wt-% Pd for selective hydrogenation of acetylene in excess ethylene. High angle annular dark field-scanning transmission electron microscopy （HAADF-STEM） and H2 chemisorption results confirmed that Pd-Cu singleatom alloy structures were constructed in all three bimetallic catalysts. Catalytic tests indicated that when the conversion of acetylene was above 99%, the selectivity of ethylene of these three single atom alloy catalysts was still more than 73%. Furthermore, the single atom alloy catalyst prepared by sequential incipient wetness impregnation was found to have the best stability among the three procedures used.

Mortality pattern according to autopsy findings among traffic accident victims in Yazd, Iran

Abstract：Objective: To describe mortality pattern and to deter-mine undiagnosed fatal injuries according to autopsy find-ings among road traffic accident victims in Yazd, Iran. Methods: In this retrospective study, 251 victims of road traffic accidents who were admitted to a tertiary trauma hospital over a two-year period (2006 and 2007) and received medical cares were included. Hospital records were reviewed to gather demographic characteristics, road user type, and medical data. Autopsy records were also reviewed to determine actual causes of death and possible undiagnosed injuries occurred in the initial assessment of the emergency unit or during hospitalization. Results: There were 202 males (80.5%) and 49 females (19.5%). The mean (±SD) age of fatalities was 34.1 (±21.5) years. Pedestrian-vehicle accidents were the most common cause of trauma (100 cases, 39.8%). The most common cause of death was central nervous system injury ( 146 cases, 58.1%). The other causes were skull base fractures (10%), internal bleeding (8%), lower limb hemorrhage (8%), skull vault fractures (4%), cervical spinal cord injury (3.6%), airway com-promise (3.2%), and multifactor cases (5.1%), *** fatal injuries in 30 victims (12%) mainly contributed to death according to autopsy, but were not diagnosed in initial assessments. The head (72.2%) and cervical spine (13.8%) regions were the two most common sites for undiagnosed injuries. Conclusion: Training courses for emergency unit medical staff with regard to interpreting radiological findings of head and neck and high clinical suspicion for cervical spine injuries are essential to improve the quality of early hospital care and reduce the mortality and morbidity of traffic accident patients。

开发了一种磁性Fe_3O_4纳米粒子和2-(3,4-二羟苯基)苯并噻唑(DPB)修饰的磁性棒碳糊电极(MBCPE)用于电化学检测肼.首先将DPB自组装在Fe_3O_4纳米粒子上,然后将此复合物吸附于设计的MBCPE上.MBCPE电极将磁性纳米粒子吸引到电极表面.所得新型电极具有高的导电性和大的有效比表面积,因而对肼的电催化氧化反应有非常大的电流响应.采用伏安法、扫描电镜、电化学阻抗谱、红外光谱和紫外-可见光谱对修饰电极进行了表征.采用伏安法研究了在磷酸盐缓冲溶液(pH=7.0)中MBCPE/Fe_3O_4NPs/DPB电极上肼的电化学行为.作为电化学传感器,MBCPE/Fe_3O_4NPs/DPB电极对肼氧化反应表现出极高的电催化活性.在DPB存在下,肼的氧化电势下降,但其催化电流增加.电催化电流与肼浓度在0.1–0.4和0.7–12.0μmol/L二个区间内表现出线性关系,检测限为18.0 nmol/L.另外,研究了MBCPE/Fe_3O_4NPs/DPB电极同时检测肼和苯酚的性能.伏安实验结果显示,苯酚的线性区域为100–470μmol/L,检测限为24.3μmol/L.采用此电极检测了水样品中的肼和苯酚.

The process of selecting features or reducing dimensionality can be viewed as a multi-objective minimization problem in which both the number of features and error rate must be *** it is a multi-objective problem,current methods tend to treat feature selection as a single-objective optimization *** paper presents enhanced multi-objective grey wolf optimizer with Lévy flight and mutation phase(LMuMOGWO)for tackling feature selection *** proposed approach integrates two effective operators into the existing Multi-objective Grey Wolf optimizer(MOGWO):a Lévy flight and a mutation *** Lévy flight,a type of random walk with jump size determined by the Lévy distribution,enhances the global search capability of MOGWO,with the objective of maximizing classification accuracy while minimizing the number of selected *** mutation operator is integrated to add more informative features that can assist in enhancing classification *** feature selection is a binary problem,the continuous search space is converted into a binary space using the sigmoid *** evaluate the classification performance of the selected feature subset,the proposed approach employs a wrapper-based Artificial Neural Network(ANN).The effectiveness of the LMuMOGWO is validated on 12 conventional UCI benchmark datasets and compared with two existing variants of MOGWO,BMOGWO-S(based sigmoid),BMOGWO-V(based tanh)as well as Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II(NSGA-II)and Multi-objective Particle Swarm Optimization(BMOPSO).The results demonstrate that the proposed LMuMOGWO approach is capable of successfully evolving and improving a set of randomly generated solutions for a given optimization ***,the proposed approach outperforms existing approaches in most cases in terms of classification error rate,feature reduction,and computational cost.

A series of PdCu bimetallic catalysts with low Cu and Pd loadings and different Cu:Pd atomic ratios were prepared by conventionally sequential impregnation(CSD)and modified sequential impregnation(MSI)of Cu and Pd for selective hydrogenation of *** indicates that the supported copper(I)nitrate in the PdCu bimetallic catalysts prepared by MSI can be directly reduced to Cu metal particles due to the hydrogen spillover from Pd to Cu(NO3)2 *** addition,for the catalysts prepared by MSI,Pd atoms can form PdCu alloy on the surface of metal particles,however,for the catalysts prepared by CSI,Pd tends to migrate and exist below the surface layer of *** results indicate that compared with CSI,the MSI method enables samples to possess preferable stability as well as comparable reaction *** should be due to the MSI method in favor of the formation of PdCu alloy on the surface of metal ***,even Pd loading is super low,<0.045 wt-%in this study,by through adjusting Cu loading to an appropriate value,attractive reactivity and selectivity still can be achieved.
