Using Support Vector Machine(SVM)requires the selection of several parameters such as multi-class strategy type(one-against-all or one-against-one),the regularization parameter C,kernel function and their *** choice of these parameters has a great influence on the performance of the final *** paper considers the grid search method and the particle swarm optimization(PSO)technique that have allowed to quickly select and scan a large space of SVM parameters.A comparative study of the SVM models is also presented to examine the convergence speed and the results of each *** is applied to handwritten Arabic characters learning,with a database containing 4840 Arabic characters in their different positions(isolated,beginning,middle and end).Some very promising results have been achieved.

Electronic and magnetic structures of zinc blende ZnO doped with V impurities are studied by first-principles calculations based on the Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker （KKR） method combined with the coherent potential approximation （CPA）. Calculations for the substitution of O by N or P are performed and the magnetic moment is found to be sensitive to the N or P content. Furthermore, the system exhibits a half-metallic band structure accompanied by the broadening of vanadium bands. The mechanism responsible for ferromagnetism is also discussed and the stability of the ferromagnetic state compared with that of the paramagnetic state is systematically investigated by calculating the total energy difference between them by using supercell method.

The tumor desmoplastic small round cell in women is rare. Ovarian its location is exceptional. We report a patient of 20 years, the originalNorth Africawho consulted for an increase in abdominal volume with impaired general condition. Pelvic ultrasonography and computed tomography were in favor of multiple peritoneal masses with ascites. After surgical exploration, the histological and immunohistochemical data for diagnosis small round cell desmoplastic tumor of ovarian the patient was a candidate for poly chemotherapy but she was died a month later. Diagnosis relies on histological and immunohistochemical data. The demonstration of a nonrandom translocation t (11;22) (p13;q12) is specific for the disease. The management is multidisciplinary and combining surgery, a poly aggressive chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The prognosis remains poor.
