Investigations on the Optimization of Contacts Barrier Height for the Improved Performance of ZnO/CdS/CZTS Solar Cells

The numerical simulations were performed using the AmPS-1D simulator to study the effects of the CZTS as an absorber layer and the contacts’barrier height on the performance of four ZnO/CdS/CZTS solar *** obtain the best cell performances,the barrier heights of the back and front contacts were adjusted between 0.01,0.77,0.5,and 1.55 eV,*** simulations,we used the lifetime mode,and the device performances were evaluated under Am1.5 illumination *** found that the efficiency,fill factor,and open-circuit voltage were almost constant at a front contact barrier height of less than 0.31 *** short-current density was not affected by the front contact barrier *** back contact material had a significant impact on the CZTS cells *** best performance was obtained for the CZTS550 cell with JSC=29.53 mA/cm2,VOC=1.07 V,FF=0.88,andη=28.08%at barrier heights of 0.31 and 1.55 eV for front and back contacts,*** conduction band offset at the CZTS550/CdS hetero-junction was found to be spike-like with 0.21 *** obtained conversion efficiency is comparable to those previously reported in the literature.

Effect of size and indium-composition on linear and nonlinear optical absorption of InGaN/GaN lens-shaped quantum dot

Based on the Schr ¨odinger equation for envelope function in the effective mass approximation, linear and nonlinear optical absorption coefficients in a multi-subband lens quantum dot are investigated. The effects of quantum dot size on the interband and intraband transitions energy are also analyzed. The finite element method is used to calculate the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. Strain and In-mole-fraction effects are also studied, and the results reveal that with the decrease of the In-mole fraction, the amplitudes of linear and nonlinear absorption coefficients increase. The present computed results show that the absorption coefficients of transitions between the first excited states are stronger than those of the ground states. In addition, it has been found that the quantum dot size affects the amplitudes and peak positions of linear and nonlinear absorption coefficients while the incident optical intensity strongly affects the nonlinear absorption coefficients.

CTAB-assisted fabrication of hierarchical flower-like magnesium oxide adsorbent for enhanced removal performance towards phosphate

In this work, a series of hierarchical flower-like magnesium oxide(mgO) adsorbents were successfully fabricated in a cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB) assisted solvothermal route using hexamethylenetetramine(HmTA) as a precipitating agent. Effects of CTAB feeding amount on the structure, morphology, pore structure, and corresponding adsorption behavior were investigated. The hierarchical gardenias flower-like mgO demonstrated a surface area of 336.54 m^(2)·g^(-1) at a minimum ratio of the CTAB/mg^(2+)was 0.02 in the reaction system. The hierarchical mgO phosphate removal capacity was 348.32 mg·g^(-1), which followed the pseudo-second-order and Freundlich isotherm model obtained from the large surface area and appropriate pore size. The value of n also suggests the feasible nature of phosphate adsorption under the examined conditions. Indeed, this CTAB assisted solvothermal method can provide a new understanding to tune the desired properties of a material by merely adjusting the reaction parameters of mgO.

Emailing is among the cheapest and most easily accessible platforms,and covers every idea of the present century like banking,personal login database,academic information,invitation,marketing,advertisement,social engineering,model creation on cyber-based technologies,*** uncontrolled development and easy access to the internet are the reasons for the increased insecurity in email ***,this review paper aims to investigate deep learning approaches for detecting the threats associated with e-mail *** study compiles the literature related to the deep learning methodologies,which are applicable for providing safety in the field of cyber security of email in different *** data were extracted from different research *** paper discusses various solutions for handling these *** challenges and issues are also investigated for e-mail security threats including social engineering,malware,spam,and phishing in the existing solutions to identify the core current problem and set the road for future *** review analysis showed that communication media is the common platform for attackers to conduct fraudulent activities via spoofed e-mails and fake websites and this research has combined the merit and demerits of the deep learning approaches adaption in email security threat by the usage of models and *** study highlighted the contrasts of deep learning approaches in detecting email security *** review study has set criteria to include studies that deal with at least one of the six machine models in cyber security.

Behaviour of rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss) under defensible and indefensible patterns of food delivery

The goal of this study was to investigate the behaviour of rainbow trout(n=30),Oncorhynchus mykiss,in small raceways when either self-feeders(T2) or hand-feeding(t2) were *** method of food delivery in T2 was defensible while that of t2 was *** in both raceways were subjected to restricted feeding(RF) for 25 *** was available in the morning(09:00-10:00) in the downstream area and in the afternoon(16:00-17:00) in the upstream area of the *** results showed that the behaviour of rainbow trout was significantly different under interference competition(T2) for food compared with that under scramble competition(t2).RF in T2 fish limited food availability to meal times when feeding rewards were available while t2 fish only responded to the location of food *** aggressive fish in T2 were dominant,and t2 fish at high densities showed intense social interactions under the indefensible pattern of food distribution;these interactions did not dampen to a minimum level to suppress the development of dominance ***,the stocking density did not break down the dominance hierarchies between the T2 *** suggests that decreased efficiency in the search for food or inefficient foraging,induced by interference competition at high densities,affected the behaviour of rainbow trout.

An experimental and numerical study of chemically enhanced water alternating gas injection

In this work, an experimental study combined with numerical simulation was conducted to investigate the potential of chemically enhanced water alternating gas （CWAG） injection as a new enhanced oil recovery method. The unique feature of this new method is that it uses alkaline, surfactant, and polymer additives as a chemical slug which is injected during the water alternating gas （WAG） process to reduce the interfacial tension （IFT） and simultaneously improve the mobility ratio. In essence, the proposed CWAG process involves a combination of chemical flooding and immiscible carbon dioxide （CO2） injection and helps in IFT reduction, water blocking reduction, mobility control, oil swelling, and oil viscosity reduction due to CO2 dissolution. Its performance was compared with the conventional immiscible water alter- nating gas （I-WAG） flooding. Oil recovery utilizing CWAG was better by 26 % of the remaining oil in place after waterflooding compared to the recovery using WAG conducted under similar conditions. The coreflood data （cumulative oil and water production） were history mat- ched via a commercial simulator by adjusting the relative permeability curves and assigning the values of the rock and fluid properties such as porosity, permeability, and the experimentally determined IFT data. History matching ofthe coreflood model helped us optimize the experiments and was useful in determining the importance of the parameters influencing sweep efficiency in the CWAG process. The effectiveness of the CWAG process in pro- viding enhancement of displacement efficiency is evident in the oil recovery and pressure response observed in the coreflood. The results of sensitivity analysis on CWAG slug patterns show that the alkaline-surfactant-polymer injection is more beneficial after CO2 slug injection due to oil swelling and viscosity reduction. Core designing of a new type of TVS-2m FAs:neutronics and thermal-hydraulics design basis limits

One of the most important aims of this study is to improve the core of the current VVER reactors to achieve more burn-up(or more cycle length)and more intrinsic *** is an independent study on the Russian new proposed FAs,called TVS-2m,which would be applied for the future advanced *** important aspects of neutronics as well as thermal hydraulics investigations(and analysis)of the new type of Fas are conducted,and results are compared with the standards PWR *** TVS-2m FA contains gadolinium-oxide which is mixed with UO_(2)(for different Gd densities and U-235 enrichments which are given herein),but the core does not contain *** new type TVS-2m Fas are modeled by the SARCS software package to find the PmAXS format for three states of CZP and HZP as well as HFP,and then the whole core is simulated by the PARCS code to investigate transient *** addition,the WImS-D5 code is suggested for steady core modeling including TVS-2m FAs and/or TVS *** neutronics aspects such as the first cycle length(first cycle burn up in terms of mWthd/kgU),the critical concentration of boric acid at the BOC as well as the cycle length,the axial,and radial power peaking factors,differential and integral worthy of the most reactive CPS-CRs,reactivity coefficients of the fuel,moderator,boric acid,and the under-moderation estimation of the core are conducted and benchmarked with the PWR ***,the burn-up calculations indicate that the 45.6 d increase of the first cycle length(which corresponds to 1.18 mWthd/kgU increase of burnup)is the best improving aim of the new FA type called ***,thermal-hydraulics core design criteria such as mDNBR(based on W3 correlation)and the maximum of fuel and clad temperatures(radially and axially),are investigated,and discussed based on the CDBL.

Characterization of mechanothermally processed nanostructured ZnO

In this paper, the Taguchi method with an L9（34） orthogonal array was used as experimental design to determine the optimum conditions for preparing ZnO nanoparticles via a mechanothermal route. ZnSO4·H20 and NaECO3 were used as starting materials. The effects of milling time, NaECO3/ZnSO·H20 molar ratio, and ball-to-powder mass ratio （BPR） on the bandgap （Eg） of ZnO nanoparticles were inves- tigated. The ranges of the investigated experimental conditions were 5-15 h for the milling time （t）, 1.0-1.2 for the Na2COa/ZnSO4·H20 mo- lar ratio （m）, and 10-30 for BPR. The milling time and BPR exhibited significant effects; an increase in milling time reduced the bandgap. The optimum conditions from this study were t3 = 15 h, m1 = l, and BPR2 = 20. Only two significant factors （t3, 15 h; BPR2, 20） were used to estimate the performance at the optimum conditions. The calculated bandgap was 3.12 eV, in reasonable agreement with the experimental results obtained under the optimized conditions.
