The high permeability and strong selectivity of nanoporous silicon nitride(NPN)membranes make them attractive in a broad range of *** their growing use,the strength of NPN membranes needs to be improved for further extending their biomedical *** this work,we implement a deep learning framework to design NPN membranes with improved or prescribed strength *** examine the predictions of our framework using physics-based *** results confirm that the proposed framework is not only able to predict the strength of NPN membranes with a wide range of microstructures,but also can design NPN membranes with prescribed or improved *** simulations further demonstrate that the microstructural heterogeneity that our framework suggests for the optimized design,lowers the stress concentration around the pores and leads to the strength improvement of NPN membranes as compared to conventional membranes with homogenous microstructures.

The π-tangle is used to study the behavior of entanglement of a nonmaximal tripartite state of both Dirac and scMar fields in accelerated frame. For Dirac fields, the degree of degradation with acceleration of both one-tangle of accelerated observer and π-tangle, for the same initial entanglement, is different by just interchanging the values of probability amplitudes. A fraction of both one-tangles and the π-tangle always survives for any choice of acceleration and the degree of initial entanglement. For scalar field, the one-tangle of accelerated observer depends on the choice of values of probability amplitudes and it vanishes in the range of infinite acceleration, whereas for 1r-tangle this is not always true. The dependence of π-tangle on probability amplitudes varies with acceleration. In the lower range of acceleration, its behavior changes by switching between the values of probability amplitudes and for larger values of acceleration this dependence on probability amplitudes vanishes. Interestingly, unlike bipartite entanglement, the degradation of π-tangle against acceleration in the case of sca/ar fields is slower than for Dirac fields.

This study was conducted to explore the major sources of pollutants including total suspended particles and levels of NOx,COx,and SOx in Faisalabad Pakistan,which make key contributions to the smog in *** is the third largest city of Pakistan where the situation is aggravating due to industrial expansion,population growth and an increasing volume of *** was conducted for the period of three months at different stations in *** concentrations of total suspended particles,levels of NOx,SOx and COx are 160μg/m^(3) to 506μg/m^(3),26μg/m^(3) to 64μg/m^(3),110μg/m^(3) to 139μg/m^(3) and 5.5 mg/m^(3) to 18.2 mg/m^(3),*** a result,air pollution control should not simply focus on controlling particulate emission,but also involve adopting an integrated multi-pollutant control *** concentrations were at an intermediate level with respect to parameters by using Geographical Information System(GIS)and *** results were compared with the permissible limits of United States Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA)and National Environmental Quality Standards(NEQS).

Thermogravimetric （TG） investigations of organotin（IV） carboxylates with the general formula RmSnL4-m （where R=CH3, C2H5, n-C4H9, C6H5, cyclo-C6H11, n-C8H17, m=2, 3, and L=para-nitrophenylethanoate anion） have been performed. Derivative thermogravimetry （DTG） and differential thermal analysis （DTA） techniques, Horowitz-Metzger method and the fundamental thermodynamic relations are used to evaluate the thermokinetic pa- rameters of each thermal degradation pattern. Results reveal that the thermal stability is functional to Sn--C and Sn--O bonds. In the case of R2SnL2, activation energy, reaction order and pre-exponential factor associated with the bulk degradation processes increase as the alkane chain length increases. Hence, Oct2SnL2 is thermally more stable than Bu2SnL2, which in turn is more resistant to thermal dissociation than Et2SnL2. The same phenomenon is not observed for R3SnL compounds because their degradation is highly irregular. Furthermore, R2SnL2 has larger values of kinetic parameters than those of corresponding triorganotin（IV） para-nitrophenylethanotes. Thermodynamic parameters of these compounds also reinforce the above facts.

Due to current trend and increasing interest towards natural based fiber products, kenaf(Hibiscus cannabinus)fibers have been used for the developments of many products. Therefore, kenaf fiber-reinforced composites have been widely used in engineering and industrial applications. The present work deals with the fabricating and characterization of untreated and treated kenaf/polypropylene(PP)-reinforced composites. Composites of PP reinforced with treated and untreated kenaf fibers were fabricated using the injection molding *** fiber loadings of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 wt% treated and untreated kenaf composites were also prepared. Xray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy and thermo gravimetric analysis(TGA) were performed on the treated, untreated kenaf fibers and kenaf/PP composites. Moreover, the alkaline-treated kenaf composites exhibit better physical, morphological, and mechanical properties because of the compatibility of kenaf with PP. However, variations in tensile and flexural properties depend on treatment and kenaf fiber contents. The percentage increase in the mechanical properties of the treated kenaf/PP composites relative to that of PP was also measured. In addition, 40 wt%kenaf fiber loading resulted in higher mechanical properties. By contrast, kenaf/PP composite with 50% fiber loading was not successfully prepared because of improper mixing and the burning of kenaf fibers in the PP matrix. To conclude, 40% kenaf/PP composites with superior physical and mechanical properties may be used in variety of applications such as automotive, sports, construction, animal bedding, and mass production industries.

Researchers have been trying to identify the contributory factors behind pedestrian crash occurrences through studies at both microscopic and macroscopic ***,built environment-related factors have primarily been examined in developed countries,resulting in a limited understanding of the phenomenon in the context of developing ***,these studies mostly used global regression models,which failed to incorporate spatial autocorrelation and spatial ***,some of these studies applied spatial regression models randomly without following a comprehensive logical framework behind their *** study aimed to develop a comprehensive spatial regression modeling framework to examine the relationships between pedestrian crash occurrences and the built environment at the macroscopic level in a megacity,Dhaka,the capital of a developing country:*** secondary pedestrian crash data,the study applied one global non-spatial model,two global spatial regression models,and two local spatial regression models following a comprehensive spatial regression modeling *** factors which significantly contributed to pedestrian crash occurrences in Dhaka were employed person density,mixed and recreational land use density,primary road density,major intersection density,and share of non-motorized *** for the last factor,all the other ones were positively related to pedestrian crash *** the five models used in this study,the multiscale geographically weighted regression(MGWR)performed the best as it calibrated each local relationship with a distant spatial scale *** findings and recommendations presented in this study would be useful for reducing pedestrian crashes and choosing the appropriate modeling technique for crash analysis.

Cerebral Microbleeds(CMBs)are microhemorrhages caused by certain abnormalities of brain *** can be found in people with Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI),Alzheimer’s disease,and in old individuals having a brain *** research reveals that CMBs can be highly dangerous for individuals having dementia and *** CMBs seriously impact individuals’life which makes it crucial to recognize the CMBs in its initial phase to stop deterioration and to assist individuals to have a normal *** existing work report good results but often ignores false-positive’s perspective for this research *** this paper,an efficient approach is presented to detect CMBs from the Susceptibility Weighted Images(SWI).The proposed framework consists of four main phases(i)making clusters of brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)using k-mean classifier(ii)reduce false positives for better classification results(iii)discriminative feature extraction specific to CMBs(iv)classification using a five layers convolutional neural network(CNN).The proposed method is evaluated on a public dataset available for 20 *** proposed system shows an accuracy of 98.9%and a 1.1%false-positive rate *** results show the superiority of the proposed work as compared to existing states of the art methods.

Efficiency of seed bio-priming technique for healthy mungbean productivity under terminal drought stress

Recently, drought-induced damaging impact in reducing the crop growth and development is drastically ranked at the top under various abiotic stresses. And especially water stress at the reproductive growth stages termed as terminal drought has become a severe threat for mungbean productivity. To mitigate the drought stress condition, "bio-priming" has emerged as a newly agronomic and sustainable technique in improving the mungbean production. A 2-year field study during kharif season 2017–2018 was conducted to investigate the efficacy of rhizobacteria seed priming in mungbean(AZRI mung-06), at Agronomic Research Area, Department of Agronomy, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan. The experiment comprised two factors containing FA(seed treatments, control(dry seeds), hydro-priming, silicon(Si)-priming, and bio-priming(mixture strains of Pseudomonas fluorescens+Rhizobium phaseoli)) and FB(irrigation water-regimes at various growth stages including leaf formation(L), stem elongation(S)+flowering(F)+pod formation(P) containing treatments are normal irrigation(I(L+S+F+P)) and terminal drought stress(I(F+P))). All the treatments were arranged in randomized complete block design under factorial design and were replicated thrice. Results indicated that the exposure of drought stress at flowering and pod formation stages hampered the morpho-physiological growth and yield of mungbean. Nevertheless, seed priming treatments particularly bio-priming were effective in alleviating the detrimental effects of drought stress. Bio-priming significantly increased the yield and yield components(seeds/plant, 1 000-grain weight and harvest index) of mungbean and regulated the activities/levels of antioxidants(superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase, ascorbic acid, and total phenolics) under drought stress. Compared with the control, bio-priming increased the seed yield of mungbean by 8–12% under normal as well as drought stress conditions during both years of study. Bio-primi
