Morphometric Assessment of Wadi Wala Watershed, Southern Jordan Using ASTER (DEM) and GIS

Morphometric analysis is of vital concern to understand hydromophological processes in a given watershed, and thus, it is a priority for assessing water resources in drainage basins. A morphometric analysis was conducted to identify the drainage properties of Wadi Wala and the 23 fourth-order sub-basins. ASTER DEM data was employed to compile slope, elevation, and aspect maps. Arc GIS software was used to measure and calculate basic, derived and shape morphometric parameters. W. Wala is found to be a sixth-order drainage basin, and the drainage pattern is trellis to sub-trellis in the central and lower part of the catchment, whereas it is dendritic to sub-dendritic pattern in the southern and northern parts. The slopes of the catchment vary from 0° - 5° to >35° in slope categories. Tectonic uplifting and tilting, lithology, structure and rejuvenation are the major factors controlling morphological variation over the watershed. The recognized fault systems are chiefly controlling the drainage pattern, and the elongated shape of the sub-basins is attributed to dense lineaments in the central and eastern parts of the watershed. The Rb values for the entire catchment and the sub-catchments range from 2 to 7, with a mean of 4.55, which indicates the distortion of drainage pattern by geological structure. Hypsometric integral values are high for the W. Wala watershed and the sub-basins, where it ranges from 70% to 89%. High HI values indicate that drainage basins are at the youth-age stage of geomorphic development, and they are affected by tectonic uplifting, tilting, and the dominance of hillslope process. Variation in HI values is apparent between sub-basins located at the western part, or, the rejuvenated belt where HI values range from 85% to 89%. Whereas the HI values of the sub-basins located at the eastern part of the watershed, vary from 70% to 84%. Ba.k.round and aims: Acute variceal hemorrhage (AVH) is the most serious encountered complication of liver cirrhosis and carries high mortality rate. Several risk factors that predict early rebleeding and mortality have been studied and there is no similar study in our country, so the aim of this study was to identify the risk factors of early rebleeding and mortality after bleeding episode in cirrhotic patients in Yemen. Patients and Method: It was a prospective study of cirrhotic patients with AVH who were admitted to the main public hospitals in Sana’a between April 2014 and March 2015. Demographic information, medical histories, physical examination findings, and laboratory test results were collected. Endoscopic and pharmacologic treatment was performed. The patients were followed up since admission and up to 6 weeks for the occurrence of rebleeding and mortality after the acute atta.k. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to identify independent risk factors for rebleeding and mortality. Survival analysis was estimated using the kaplan-Meier method. Result: A total of 102 patients were analyzed. 26 patients (25.5%) rebleeded within 6 weeks period. The predictive factors significantly associated with rebleeding within 6 weeks period in univariate analysis were clot on varix at index endoscope (P - 47.29, P = 0.001) and high serum bilirubin (- 1.19, P = 0.01). Sixteen patients died (15.7%) within 6 weeks period. Predictors of mortality with significant difference in univariate analysis were hypovolemic shock (P = 0.001), high WBCs count (P - 1.41, P - 1.40, P k factors for mortality within 6 weeks period. Conclusion: Early rebleeding in cirrhotic patients with AVH was associated with clot on varix at endoscope and high serum bilirubin more than 3 mg/dl. Early mortality rate was associated with high MELD score (≥19) and WBCs over 10.3 × 109/l.

Automatic Speaker Identification(ASI)involves the process of distinguishing an audio stream associated with numerous speakers’*** common aspects,such as the framework difference,overlapping of different sound events,and the presence of various sound sources during recording,make the ASI ta.k.much more complicated and *** research proposes a deep learning model to improve the accuracy of the ASI system and reduce the model training time under limited computation *** this research,the performance of the transformer model is *** audio features,chromagram,Mel-spectrogram,tonnetz,Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients(MFCCs),delta MFCCs,delta-delta MFCCs and spectral contrast,are extracted from the ELSDSR,CSTRVCTk,and Ar-DAD,*** evaluation of various experiments demonstrates that the best performance was achieved by the proposed transformer model using seven audio features on all *** ELSDSR,CSTRVCTk,and Ar-DAD,the highest attained accuracies are 0.99,0.97,and 0.99,*** experimental results reveal that the proposed technique can achieve the best performance for ASI problems.

In this article,a novel unordered classification rule list discovery algorithm is presented based on Ant Colony Optimization(ACO).The proposed classifier is compared empirically with two other ACO-based classification techniques on 26 data sets,selected from miscellaneous domains,based on several performance *** opposed to its ancestors,our technique has the flexibility of generating a list of IF-THEN rules with unrestricted *** makes the generated classification model more comprehensible and easily *** results indicate that the performance of the proposed method is statistically significantly better as compared with previous versions of AntMiner based on predictive accuracy and comprehensibility of the classification model.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is an idiopathic inflammatory disease of the gastrointestinal tract. The pathophysiology of IBD is probably the result of the complex interaction of genetic susceptibility and environmental influences. There is a well-known risk of thrombosis in patients with IBD. We present the case of a 53-year-old man with ulcerative colitis, who spontaneously developed intracranial sinus thrombosis that was treated with low molecular weight heparin. Literature was searched to assess the frequency and characteristics of cerebral sinus thrombosis in IBD and the role of certain etiopathological factors in such thrombotic patients.

Text Summarization is an essential area in text mining,which has procedures for text *** natural language processing,text summarization maps the documents to a representative set of descriptive ***,the objective of text extraction is to attain reduced expressive contents from the text *** summarization has two main areas such as abstractive,and extractive *** text summarization has further two approaches,in which the first approach applies the sentence score algorithm,and the second approach follows the word embedding *** such text extractions have limitations in providing the basic theme of the underlying *** this paper,we have employed text summarization by TF-IDF with PageRa.k.keywords,sentence score algorithm,and Word2Vec word *** study compared these forms of the text summarizations with the actual text,by calculating cosine ***,TF-IDF based PageRa.k.keywords are extracted from the other two extractive *** intersection over these three types of TD-IDF keywords to generate the more representative set of keywords for each text document is *** technique generates variable-length keywords as per document diversity instead of selecting fixedlength keywords for each *** form of abstractive summarization improves metadata similarity to the original text compared to all other forms of summarized *** also solves the issue of deciding the number of representative keywords for a specific text *** evaluate the technique,the study used a sample of more than eighteen hundred text *** abstractive summarization follows the principles of deep learning to create uniform similarity of extracted words with actual text and all other forms of text *** proposed technique provides a stable measure of similarity as compared to existing forms of text summarization.

The claim of philosophy connection with academic education is based upon the assumption that philosophy can change students＇ critical status （such as surprising, demanding standard...） and train them with reasoning, conception forming, changing, and investigating skills. Philosophy in school, on the one hand, is a progressive discussion about our future educational system so that it can provide safe training about how philosophy can be performed and mixed in school classes and auditoriums. Therefore, philosophy for children explains that how each teacher in each subject is able to accept a model of philosophical search and adapt it to the class situation. Philosophy is much better understood if considered as a public activity and a conversation according to what Socrates did, than just considered as an education subject which should be inserted in child＇s memory. On the other hand, philosophical opening, questioning, and surprising toward the word--the characteristics which are undeniable, admirable, and comprehensive----can be remained superficial and even bare. Unless, it founts from Socrates＇ dialectic insight：＂I know that I don＇t know.＂ Philosophy for children is a program which involves them in every class discussion in the field of philosophical subjects. The aim of this program is the improvement of children though via introducing them numerous ＂Big Question＂ and enables them in considering these questions. Using this program, teachers encourage children to think more deeply on ideas about their schoolwork. This strategy mainly takes place in project community of classes. Children will deeply concentrate on their thoughts and skill and then improve them while considering and reinforcing their own and others＇ ideas in response to philosophical puzzles.
