Cargo ship sailing within the ice channel that an assisting icebreaker tracks in the compact ice cover is the usual navigation practice for difficult ice conditions in freezing seas and Arcticwater *** the icebreaker or an ahead vessel stops before the insuperable ice obstacle or because of engine trouble,the danger of an emergency appears,namely of collision with the icebreaker or the ahead ship,if the interval between them is not sufficient for effective braking and *** paper presents the equation that describes the ship braking process within an ice channel and includes the thrust of the propeller that works under the reverse *** specific of this regime is the following:the ship continues the motion‘forwards’and the propeller rotates‘backwards’.An analytical method for description of the ship propeller work on the reverse regime is absent because of the detached flow on its *** paper describes the developed empirical method of this regime parameterization on the basis of serial models of propeller *** outcomes of this investigation are applied to a ship braking process simulation and the evaluation of the safe interval between the ship and the icebreaker.

The fate of subducted carbonates in the lower mantle and at the core-mantle boundary was modelled via experiments in the MgCO3-Fe^0 system at 70-150 GPa and 800-2600 Kin a laser-heated diamond anvil *** in situ synchrotro n X-ray diffraction and ex situ transmission electron microscopy we show that the reduction of Mg-carbonate can be exemplified by:6 MgCO3+19 Fe=8 FeO+10(Mg0.6Fe^0.4)O+Fe7 C3+3 *** presented results suggest that the interaction of carbonates with Fe^0 or Fe^0-bearing rocks can produce Fe-carbide and diamond,which can accumulate in the D"region,depending on its carbon to Fe *** to the sluggish kinetics of the transformation,diamond can remain metastable at the core-mantle boundary(CMB)unless it is in a direct contact with *** addition,it can be remobilized by redox melting accompanying the generation of mantle plumes.

Self-emission x-ray shadowgraphy provides a method to measure the ablation-front trajectory and low-mode nonuniformity of a target imploded by directly illuminating a fusion capsule with laser beams. The technique uses time-resolved images of soft x-rays(>1 ke V) emitted from the coronal plasma of the target imaged onto an x-ray framing camera to determine the position of the ablation front. Methods used to accurately measure the ablation-front radius(δ R= ±1.15 μm), image-to-image timing(δ( t)= ±2.5 ps) and absolute timing(δt= ±10 ps) are *** averaging of the images provides an average radius measurement of δ( Rav)= ±0.15 μm and an error in velocity of δV / V= ±3%. This technique was applied on the Omega Laser Facility [Boehly et al., Opt. Commun. 133, 495(1997)] and the National ignition Facility [Campbell and Hogan, Plasma Phys. Control. Fusion 41, B39(1999)].

BACKGROUND Primary liver teratoma is an extremely rare tumor usually affecting children under the age of 3 *** signs of teratoma on ultrasound,computed tomography(CT)or magnetic resonance imaging are lacking,which makes morphology the only diagnostic *** of a mature teratoma may lead to excessive liver resection,whereas misdiagnosis of an immature teratoma may result in spread,causing a life-threatening ***,a careful tumor examination is important,and the rarest types of tumors must be accounted *** SUMMARY We describe a 52 years old female who presented with a solid mass in the left liver ***-enhanced CT and magnetic resonance imaging(MRi)revealed a round,heterogeneous lesion containing a number of fluid areas and areas of calcification in the middle,and the provisional diagnosis was *** patient underwent resection of liver segment *** analysis of the resected lesion indicated thyroid follicular epithelium;however,the thyroid gland was intact.10 years prior to presentation the patient underwent a surgery due to mature teratoma of the right ovary,nevertheless the tumor was benign and could not spread to the liver,in addition teratoma of the liver was also *** led to the final diagnosis of primary mature liver *** Primary hepatic teratoma,including heterotopia of the thyroid gland in the liver,is an extremely rare condition in adults that needs to be considered in the differential diagnosis of solid-cystic neoplasms in the liver and *** case adds to the limited literature on the patient presentation,clinical workup and management of liver teratomas.

The purpose of given article-consideration of the basic features of modern manufacturing of nuclear fuel which would confirm fact, that the manufacturer does everything that its production would respond not only to requirements of the consumer, but also to its expected inquiries, and would correspond to intended purposes of fuel. it was defined main tendencies and features of modern technology, especially in nuclear fuel production, on base of meeting discussions, themes of journal articles on nuclear subject. They are correspond with practice of JSC NCCP （Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant） and listed in the paper. in result of it number of base features of any advanced technology, not only nuclear, described here with examples from NCCP＇s practice. Of course, there is no certain list of all attributes of modern manufacturing as there is no limit to its perfection. These categories are forming by current needs of the market, but listed ones must be.

At intensive winter navigation, the ships should separate under movement on opposite courses or make overtaking of slowly moving cargo vessels in the water areas covered with ice. Under navigation within ice channel, possibilities for maneuvering are reduced; therefore, danger of collision of ships exists. The ice floes between vessels hulls and outside are the major factors defining values and direction of side force and yawing moment that arise on their hulls during divergence. ice loads on the ship hull exceed considerably the loads caused by water flow around hull. Performed previously experiments in the ice basin have detected that besides increase of side force and yawing moment modules the change of side force directions occurs during the divergence of vessels in comparison with same maneuvering on water area without ice cover. Article contains the detailed problem definition and mathematical model of ships interaction during opposite passing by or overtaking and technical approach to computation of loads on vessels hulls. As example of strategy application, the simulation of loads on overtaking ship was performed, and main results of computations are presented. Outcomes of investigation are character of variation of side force and yawing moment during passage along overtaken ship and dependence of the peak values of additional ice resistance, side force and yawing moment on beam distance between vessels and thickness that are contained in the article.

鉴于目前的溢油模型主要是针对海面溢油的情况,本文提出了预测海底管道出现裂纹和腐蚀形成的小孔时发生溢油的模型。预测在海底管线上某一位置处的蠕孔漏油后,油的浓度超过某一规定浓度的范围,海面上形成油膜的起始位置,估计油膜是否能到达海岸线,以及被风浪携带到海岸线上的原油量。本文还给出了一个基于渤海自然状况及原油性质的算例。结果表明,该模型可以为海底管线上蠕孔溢油的污染情况预测提供参考。
