With cutting-edge technologies and considering airline human-resource-saving,a single pilot in commercial jets could be technically *** changes in captains’natural behaviours are initially required to comprehend the specific safe human performance envelope for safeguarding single-pilot flight,particularly in high-risk *** paper investigates how captains’performance transforms for fixing emergencies when operating from Dual-Pilot Operations(DPO)to Single-Pilot Operations(SPO)through a physiological-based *** pilots flew an emergency-included flight with/without first officers’*** neural activities and scanning behaviours were recorded using a 32-channel electroencephalogram(EEG)and glasses-based eye tracker,with the observation and post-experiment questionnaires to evaluate the flight operations and pilots’*** alone,there was a significantly increased cortical activity in h and b waves over the frontal,parietal,and temporal lobes during the more complicated emergencies,and pilots focused less on the primary flight display while spending significantly more time scanning the other *** physiological fluctuating patterns associated with risky operations in SPO were highlighted by cross-correlating multimodal *** experimental-based noteworthy insights may wish to inform commercial SPO measures to lessen the persistent physiological fluctuation,assisting airlines in creating SPO-oriented intelligent flight systems to give captains adequate support for assuring safer air transportation.

The paper is devoted to the study of optimal control of a.h.perbolic system,where the control enters the system through the *** hyperbolic system is the wave equation on a smooth and open domain,where the boundary condition involves the normal derivative at the boundary of z,the time derivative of z times a constant k,and a nonlinear term ***,z is the state and u is the control,satisfying some boundedness condition depending on *** functional cost consists of the energy and the difference between the solution of the system at final time,and a desired state in *** a closed convex set,we prove the existence of an optimal control that minimises the cost functional using a priori ***,using the differentiability of the cost functional with respect to the control,we establish the characterisation by deriving necessary conditions that an optimal control must satisfy.A numerical approa.h.is successfully illustrated by simulations.

Ethidium bromide(EtBr)is one of the contaminants recorded in aquatic environments whose effects have been investigated;however,there is still limited knowledge about its *** study examined the potential protective effects of Spirulina platensis(SP)against the effects of EtBr toxicity in the Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus)*** were divided to five groups,viz.,a control and four treatment groups of low-dose EtBr(10μg/l),low-dose EtBr with SP(10μg/l EtBr+200 mg/l SP),high-dose EtBr(100μg/l),and high-dose EtBr with SP(100μg/l EtBr+200 mg/l SP);the exposure period was 2 *** and high doses of EtBr induced alterations in some hematological,biochemical,and histopa.h.logical *** hepatocytes,degenerated area,vacuolated hepatocytes,pyknotic nuclei,constricted and dilated blood sinusoids,and infiltration of inflammatory cells were *** peroxidation concentration was not significantly different in groups exposed to low doses of EtBr and EtBr with SP,but it was increased in groups exposed to high doses of EtBr and EtBr with SP,compared with the control *** feeding with SP,most histological and histochemical parameters restored to normal ***,SP may possess the ability to preserve the structural integrity of the hepatic and renal membranes.

Facies development and sedimentology of the Middle Miocene carbonates of the Ra.h.ma Formation, northeastern Saudi Arabia

Ragahama Formation comprises a siliciclastic continental deposits followed by marine carbonates, representing prograding alluvial fans from adjacent high hinterlands seaward into lagoons and fringing reef environments. The present work aimed to document the facies development and sedimentology of the Ra.h.ma carbonates exposed along the eastern coastal plain of the Red Sea, northwestern Saudi Arabia. Four stratigra.h.c sections were measured and sampled(D1–D4) and thin sections and major and trace element analyses were prepared and applied for petrogra.h.c and geochemical approa.h.s. The carbonates were subdivided into three successive fore-reef, reef-core, and back-reef depositional facies. Sandy stromatolitic boundstone, microbial laminites, dolomitic ooidal grainstone, bioclastic coralline algal wackestone, sandy bioclastic wackestone, and coral boundstones were the reported microfacies types. Petrogra.h.c analysis reveals that the studied carbonates were affected by dissolution, dolomitization, and aggrading recrystallization, which affects both the original micrite matrix and grains or acts as fracture and veinlet filling leading to widespread vuggy and moldic porosity. No evidence of physical compaction, suggesting rapid lithification and recrystallization during early diagenesis and prior to substantial burial and intensive flushing by meteoric waters. Most of the original microstructure of corals were lea.h.d and destructed. This is indicated by the higher depletion in Sr and Ca levels and increase in Mg,Na, Fe, and Mn levels, especially in section D1, in comparison with the worldwide carbonates.

Developing a biomaterial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and gra.h.ne oxide(GO)were embedded in cast films based on polycaprolactone(PCl)to be examined for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated films including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Raman,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),besides their biological *** thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)exhibits high thermal stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the temperature from room temperature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approximately 93%at 75μg/***,the cell atta.h.ent shows excellent behavior as the cells atta.h.on most of the surface of the modified PCl which shows high biocompatibility.
