Melting of carbonate wall rocks and formation of the heterogeneous aureole of the Panzhihua intrusion,China

The Panzhihua gabbroic intrusion,part of the plumbing system of the Emeishan large igneous province, intruded late-Proterozoic dolomites and marls about～263 Ma *** dolomites in the contact aureole were converted to brucite marbles and a diverse suite of forsterite,diopside and garnet *** variation in mineralogy is explained in part by differences in the composition of the protolith,particularly the proportion of silica minerals and clay,and in part by transfer of elements from intruding *** trace element compositions of most marbles and skarns are very similar to those of unmetamorphosed dolomites and marls,but some contain high Si,Ti,and Fe contents that are interpreted to have come from a magmatic *** brucite marbles sampled～10 m from the contact of the intrusion and named ＂enriched brucite marble＂ have trace element compositions very different from their dolomitic protolith：their rare earth elements are strongly enriched whereas levels of Nb-Ta,Zr-Hf and Ti are very *** characteristics resemble those of carbonate liquid in equilibrium with silicate liquid or more probably with silicate minerals in the case of Panzhihua,a similarity we take to indicate that the sample underwent partial *** taken up to 300 m from the contact contain brucite indicating that high temperatures persisted well into the country ***,other samples collected only tens of metres from the contact are only slightly recrystallized indicating that conditions in the aureole were highly *** suggest that temperatures within the aureole were controlled by conduction of heat from the main intrusion and by supply of additional heat from abundant small dykes within the *** of fluids derived from deeper levels in the aureole flushed the carbon dioxide from the dolomite,lowering temperature needed to partially melt carbonate to the temperatures attained near the *** but extensive heating destabilized the carbon

Formation building and collision avoidance for a fleet of NAOs based on optical sensor with local positions and minimum communication

Multi-robot system has become a research hotspot because of low demand on the sensors’ accuracy, high reliability, and high efficiency. To put all the robots together, formation control is a crucial problem. In this paper, we propose a local position-based method to plan trajectories and build a pyramid pattern for a fleet of NAOs in the obstacle-free environment by refering to the position-based method and giving an O(n log n) collision avoidance strategy inspired from one graph theory, where the local positions are estimated from optical sensors. To get the local positions, an integrated image processing method is developped. Firstly a mask-base is generated to store the features of NAOs, and a cross-correlation method is introduced to recognize the NAO. Subsequently, the distance and angle models are proposed to get the local information from a single image. Then, a visual compass is introduced to obtain the orientation of one NAO. After the local information exchange by the WiFi communication, a neighbor-check method is put foward to distinguish the homogeneous NAOs(all the NAOs look like the same). Further, a common frame is constructed as an artificial global frame, and straight non-intercrossing trajectories are planned according to the O(n log n) collision avoidance strategy. At last, the performance of our proposed local position-based method is verified by the simulations with up to 15 robots and the indoor experiments with 3 NAOs in a real environment. The convergence of the method has been demonstrated in both obstacle-free and static obstacle environments.

This study examined the relationship between residents＇ level of participation in house design and level of residential satisfaction in Akure, Nigeria. The study was based on the idea that the goal of housing projects is to provide satisfactory environments for users. A cross-sectional survey was conducted on 304 household heads in transitional and peripheral zones of the city. Data were obtained through a structured questionnaire and focus group discussions and observations. The obtained data were subsequently subjected to single-factor descriptive analysis, mean satisfaction scoring, and categorical regression analysis. Results showed a positive significant relationship between the level of resident participation in house design and the level of residential satisfaction. The significant participatory predictors of satisfaction were number of bedrooms, general house design, development of the brief for the design, arrangement of interior spaces, and selection of finishing materials. Space size and building materials were not significant predictors in this context. The obtained p-value of 0.000 indicated that the regression model was significant. This study recommends a high level of resident participation in house design to achieve a high level of residential housing satisfaction in Nigeria.

This paper investigates how state diagrams can be best represented in the polychronous model of computation (MoC) and proposes to use this model for code validation of behavior specifications in architecture analysis & design language (AADL). In this relational MoC, the basic objects are signals, which are related through dataflow equations. Signals are associated with logical clocks, which provide the capability to describe systems in which components obey multiple clock rates. We propose a model of finite-state automata, called polychronous automata, which is based on clock relationships. A specificity of this model is that an automaton is submitted to clock constraints, which allows one to specify a wide range of control-related configurations, being either reactive or restrictive with respect to their control environment. A semantic model is defined for these polychronous automata, which relies on boolean algebra of clocks. Based on a previously defined modeling method for AADL software architectures using the polychronous MoC, the proposed model is used as a formal model for the AADL behavior annex. This is illustrated with a case study involving an adaptive cruise control system.

The Panzhihua intrusion in southwest China is part of the Emeishan large igneous province and host of a large Fe-Ti-V ore *** previous interpretations it was considered to be a layered,differentiated sill with the ore deposits at its *** structural and petrological data suggest instead that the intrusion has an open S-shape,with two near-concordant segments joined by a discordant dyke-like segment. During emplacement of the main intrusion,multiple generations of mafic dykes invaded carbonate wall rocks,producing a large contact *** the central segment,magmatic layering is oriented oblique to the walls of the *** layering cannot have formed by crystal settling or in-situ growth on the floor of the intrusion;instead we propose that it resulted from inward solidification of multiple,individually operating,convection *** formation was triggered by interaction of magma with carbonate wall rocks.

The innate immune response is the first line of defense against viral invasion and pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines have a critical function in the innate immune responses against virus infections. The ability of a rabies virus(RABV) to induce the expression of chemokines and cytokines can lead to viral clearance from the central nervous system(CNS), whereas the ability to evade such expression and activation contributes to virulence and pathogenicity. In this review, the crucial contribution of chemokines/cytokines to clearing RABV from the CNS is discussed, including recruiting leukocytes into the CNS, enhancement of blood brain barrier permeability and activation of various immune cells that are essential for viral clearance. In addition, recombinant RABV expressing cytokines and chemokines can induce elevated innate and adaptive immune responses which result in clearing an established wild-type RABV infection in the CNS.

Osteosarcoma is a malignant bone tumor that commonly occurs in the pediatric *** the use of chemotherapy and surgery,metastasis remains to be the leading cause of death in patients with *** have previously reported that cytoplasmic mislocalization of p27 is associated with a poor outcome in *** this study,we further show that lysyl oxidase(LOx)expression was associated with p27 *** is an enigmatic molecule that acts as a tumor suppressor or a metastatic promoter;however,its role in osteosarcoma is still ***,we performed both in vitro and in vivo analyses to dissect the role of Lox in *** result of our survival analysis indicated that Lox expression significantly correlated with a poor outcome in osteosarcoma with or without controlling for the initial metastasis status(P<0.05).Functionally,we found that higher LoX expression promoted osteosarcoma cell proliferation,migration,and invasiveness in vitro and produced a higher number of mice with pulmonary metastases in an orthotopic xenograft mouse ***,phospho-FAK was increased in osteosarcoma cells with high LOX *** results further showed that FAK inhibition significantly reduced tumor cell proliferation and migration in vitro as well as LoX-mediated metastasis in ***,our findings suggest that there is a novel link between p27 mislocalization and LOX *** plays a pivotal role in osteosarcoma metastasis by upregulating FAK *** inhibition may constitute a promising therapeutic strategy to reduce the development of metastasis in osteosarcoma with Lox overexpression.

导出了3-RRR平面并联机构基于守恒协调转换刚度矩阵机构刚度结构位形部分的解析表达式和外力作用影响部分的不完全解析表达式.给出了求机构刚度映射的一般方法,求出了不同参数下3-RRR平面并联机构的刚度映射曲线,并对机构的刚度特性进行了分析和讨论.研究发现,3-RRR平面并联机构的刚度是机构构型的函数,并与驱动力和关节刚度成比例;动平台中心趋于工作空间边界刚度增大,在工作空间的边界附近形成一个刚度较强的环状区域,而在工作空间的内部形成一个刚度较弱的区域.
