Observation of Standing Slow Magneto-acoustic Waves in a Flaring Active Region Corona Loop

Intensity fluctuations are frequently observed in different regions and structures of the solar *** fluctuations may be caused by magneto-hydrodynamic(MHD)waves in coronal *** waves are prime candidates for the dynamics,energy transfer,and anomalous temperature of the solar *** this paper,analysis is conducted on intensity and temperature fluctuations along the active region coronal loop(NOAA AR 13599)near solar *** intensity and temperature as functions of time and distance along the loop are extracted using images captured by the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly(AIA)instrument onboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory(SDO)space *** observe and comprehend the causes of intensity and temperature fluctuations,after conducting initial processing,and applying spatial and temporal frequency filters to data,enhanced distance-time maps of these variables are *** space-time maps of intensities show standing oscillations at wavelengths of 171,193,and 211A with greater precision and clarity than earlier *** amplitude of these standing oscillations(waves)decreases and increases over *** average values of the oscillation period,damping time,damping quality,projected wavelength,and projected phase speed of standing intensity oscillations are in the range of 15-18 minutes,24-31 minutes,1.46″-2″,132″-134″,and 81-100 km s^(-1),***,the differential emission measure peak temperature values along the loop are found in the range of 0.51-3.98 MK,using six AIA passbands,including 94,131,171,193,211,and 335?.Based on the values of oscillation periods,phase speeds,damping time,and damping quality,it is inferred that the fluctuations in intensity are related to standing slow magneto-acoustic waves with weak damping.

Effect of synthesis solution pH of Co/γ-Al_2O_3 catalyst on its catalytic properties for methane conversion to syngas

The cobalt nanoparticles over γ-Al_2O_3 support were prepared via chemical reduction of CoCl_2·6H_2O using NaBH_4 with various values of pH in the range of 11. 92-13. 80. Synthesized catalysts were studied through X-ray diffraction( XRD),N_2 adsorption/desorption( BET),H_2-temperature programmed reduction( H_2-TPR),H_2-chemisorption,O_2 pulse titration and temperature programmed oxidation( TPO) methods. Obtained results exhibited the synthesis solution pH showed a significant influence on the activity and selectivity in partial oxidation of methane reaction. The methane conversion,CO selectivity and H_2 yield were enhanced by increasing of the synthesis solution pH. Compared to other catalysts,the catalyst that synthesized at pH of 13.80,showed a superior ability in syngas production with a H_2/CO ratio of near 2 and also a proper stability against deactivation during the partial oxidation of methane.

The Hizeh-Jan Kaolin Deposit of NW Iran:the Tetrad Effect in REE Distribution Patterns

The Hizeh-Jan kaolin deposit(northwest of Varzeghan, East-Azarbaidjan Province, NW Iran) is a product of the alteration of Eocene andesitic rocks. Based on mineralogical examinations, kaolinite, quartz, smectite, pyrophyllite, muscovite-illite, alunite, calcite, diaspore, goethite and hematite are the most abundant mineral phases in this deposit. The geochemical indicators, such as Y/Ho and Zr/Hf, indicate the non-CHARAC(non-Charge-radius control) behavior of these pairs, which are likely to be due to the occurrence of the tetrad effect phenomenon in this deposit. Simultaneous concave and convex shapes in the chondrite-normalized REE distribution patterns are a remarkable feature of the kaolin samples. Bivariate diagrams of the size of the third tetrad effect(T_3) versus geochemical parameters such as Y/Ho, Nb/Ta and Zr/Hf ratios display two distinct populations for the kaolin samples. The first population is characterized by high T_3 values(>0.13), which are near or on the fault zone. The second population is characterized by low T_3 values(<0.13), and are farther from the fault zone. The obtained results from the geochemical data have furnished compelling evidence that fluidrock interaction, overprint of hypogene processes by supergene ones, and structural control, are key controlling factors for the occurrence of tetrad effects in REE distribution patterns in the Hizeh-Jan kaolin deposit.

In this paper, we investigated the day-ahead scheduling of network consisting of severaldistributed generation sources and connected loads. This scheduling is an optimization problem that has two objective functions, namely, operating costs and the costcaused by the emission of pollutants. In this scheduling, while introducing a new structure for micro-grid utilization, the possibility of exchanging power among networks andexchanging power between networks and the upstream distribution network is *** uncertainty of distributed wind generation sources and solar units has been investigated using appropriate probabilistic distributions. Incent-driven load-responsivenessmanagement programs have been used as to encourage subscribers to reduce their powerconsumption during high-load hours. Whale optimization algorithm has been used forscheduling of network.

Rare Earth Elements Geochemistry of Sheikh-Marut Laterite Deposit,NW Mahabad,West-Azarbaidjan Province,Iran

Laterite deposit at Sheikh-Marut （NW occurred within middle-upper Permian carbonate Mahabad, West-Azarbaidjan province, Iran） rocks. It consists of seven stratiform and/or discontinuous lenticular layers extending over 4.2 km in length and having thicknesses ranging from 3 to 14 m. Mineralogical data show that the ores contain kaolinite and hematite as major and boehmite, diaspore, halloysite, amesite, anatase, and muscovite-illite as minor mineral phases. The computed Ce anomaly values in the ores range from 0.05 to 20.84. Conservative index （e.g., Eu/Eu＊） suggests that this deposit is a product of alteration and weathering of basaltic rocks. Rhythmic increment of EREE values of the ores with approaching to the carbonate bedrocks shows an in-situ occurrence of lateritization processes. Mass change calculations of elements indicate that two competing processes namely leaching and fixation were the major regulating factors in concentration variation of REEs （La-Lu） in this deposit. The obtained results show that pH increase of weathering solutions by carbonate bedrocks, existence of organic matters, and the degree of comlexation with organic ligands played remarkable role in distribution of REEs during lateritization. Further geochemical considerations revealed that secondary phosphates, Mn-oxides and -hydroxides, diaspore, and anatase were the potential hosts for REEs in this deposit.

Investigation of thermal behavior of energetic and non-energetic binders on luminous efficiency of high performance miniature flares

Miniature flares containing magnesium/sodium nitrate compounded with different binders were studied for increasing luminosity and luminous efficiency in various fuel oxidizer ratio and flare *** polyester, Bisphenol-A epoxy resin, calcium resinate, and nitrocellulose were used as binders for construction the flares. Experimental results showed that luminous efficiency was higher for polyester based flares. Due to the difference in decomposition progress of various binders and the exothermic reaction between binder and oxidizer the luminous efficiency of the mixtures were 31000,28900, 27800 and 25100 cd respectively for polyester, epoxy, calcium resinate, and nitrocellulose. It was found that nitrocellulose as an energetic binder produces the highest light intensity in comparison to other binders, but the burning rate is higher and the burning time is lower than the other *** analysis of four binders showed that the heat of reactions was directly related to the amount of light output and luminosity.
