We introduce a new advection scheme for fluid *** main contribution is the use of long-term temporal changes in pressure to extend the commonly used semi-Lagrangian scheme further back along the time *** algorithm starts by tracing sample points along a trajectory following the velocity field backwards in time for many *** this backtracing process,the pressure gradient along the path is integrated to correct the velocity of the current time *** show that our method effectively suppresses numerical diffusion,retains small-scale vorticity,and provides better long-term kinetic energy preservation.

Background:To compare the arithmetic mean(M-SIA)and the summated vector mean of surgically induced astigmatism(SVM-SIA)according to the incision site after phakic intraocular lens(Visian implantable collamer lens(ICL),STAAR Surgical)***:This study comprised 121 eyes of 121 consecutive patients undergoing ICL surgery through a 3.0-mm temporal or superior clear corneal *** magnitude and the axis of corneal astigmatism preoperatively and 3 months postoperatively were measured using an automated *** M-SIA and the SVM-SIA were determined according to the incision ***:The magnitude of corneal astigmatism significantly increased from 1.23±0.59 D preoperatively to 1.46±0.72 D postoperatively in the temporal incision group(Wilcoxon signed-rank test,P<0.001),but it significantly decreased from 1.09±0.36 D preoperatively to 0.86±0.41 D postoperatively in the superior incision group(P<0.001).The M-SIA was 0.48±0.30 D,and the SVM-SIA was 0.23±0.52 D at a meridian of 82°in the temporal incision *** M-SIA was 0.57±0.30 D,and the SVM-SIA was 0.47±0.45 D at a meridian of 1°in the superior incision ***:ICL implantation induces the M-SIA by approximately 0.5 D,but the SVM-SIA decreased to 50%and 80%of the M-SIA in magnitude through temporal and superior incisions,*** direction of the SVM-SIA showed a tendency toward corneal flattening to the incisional *** should be noted that the M-SIA is somewhat different from the SVM-SIA according to the incision site.

Intelligent speed adaptation （ISA） is considered as an effective measure to reduce number of traffic accidents in the field of intelligent transportation systems （ITS）. On the other hand, its effects for traffic safety are still doubted by many people. To make the possibility analysis, an experiment is conducted by using driving simulator. Regarding ISA ap- proaches, there are three modes： mandatory, voluntary and advisory. Among them, the advisory type seems to be the easiest one to introduce. Therefore, we focus on the advisory mode in this study by considering ISA just at the beginning stage in Japan. The experiment consists of four steps： without ISA, ISA using pictures, ISA using voices and again without ISA. The outputs obtained from the driving simulator are analyzed combined with the consciousness of the participants. The experiment shows that the ISA can improve recognition of speed limitation especially for people who have random rambling or looking aside tendency. Furthermore, the ISA especially when using voices can contribute in changing the consciousness of people who are aggressive in driving. Their driving speeds can reduce so that positive effects on traffic safety can be concluded.

Nowadays,the development of trip let-involved materials becomes a hot research topic in solid-state luminescence ***,the mechanism of trip let-involved emission still remains some mysteries to ***,we proposed a new concept of excited-state confo rmation capture for the const ructio ns of different types of trip let-involved ***,excited-state conformation could be trapped by supramolecular chains in crystal and fo rm a new optimum excited-state structure which is different from that in solution or simple rigid environment,leading to bright thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF) *** on excited-state conformation capture methodology,next,we obtained roomtemperature phosphorescence(RTP) by introducing Br atoms for the enhancement of intersystem *** could be concluded from experime ntal results that TADF may originate from aggregate effect while RTP may derive from ***,heavy-atom free RTP and ultra RTP were achieved by eliminating aggregate *** wo rk could not only exte nd the design methodology of triplet-involved materials but also set clear evidences for the mechanism of triplet-involved emissions.

Can harvest outsourcing services reduce field harvest losses of rice in China?

The purpose of this study is to quantify the rice harvest losses in China and to evaluate the impacts of machinery and harvest outsourcing services on these losses,given the background of high-speed mechanization and outsourcing *** were collected from a national survey conducted in 2016 by the research team in conjunction with the Research Center for the Rural Economy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China.A non-parametric method was used to test whether combine harvesting and outsourcing services could significantly reduce harvest ***,quantile regression was used to estimate the real effects of machinery and outsourcing services on harvest *** analysis yielded four main study ***,the harvest loss rate of rice in China was 3.65%.Second,mechanical reaping and winnowing caused greater losses than manual methods,while the opposite was true of field ***,combine harvesting increased the ***,the effects of an outsourcing service on losses differed among the different harvesting *** services increased losses in segmented harvesting but they reduced losses in combine harvesting.

The discovery of a planetary companion to the intermediate-mass late-type giant star HD173416 from precise Doppler surveys of G and K giants at Xinglong station and Okayama Astrophysical Observatory （OAO） is presented in this letter. The planet has a minimum mass of 2.7 MJ, an eccentricity of 0.21, a semimajor axis of 1.16 AU and an orbital period of 324 days.

We describe a 77-year-old man with refractory gastric ulcer that worsened after Helicobacter pylori eradication *** showed marked infiltration of IgG4-positive plasma cells in the gastric lesions,which led us to suspect IgG4-related sclerosing *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first report of IgG4-related gastric ulcer without the main manifestation of autoimmune pancreatitis.

Ultra-Thin Double-Walled Carbon Nanotubes： A Novel Nanocontainer for Preparing Atomic Wires

Double-walled carbon nanotubes （DWCNTs） with high graphitization have been synthesized by hydrogen arc discharge. The obtained DWCNTs have a narrow distribution of diameters of both the inner and outer tubes, and more than half of the DWCNTs have inner diameters in the range 0.6-1.0 nm. Field electron emission from a DWCNT cathode to an anode has been measured, and the emission current density of DWCNTs reached 1 A/cm2 at an applied field of about 4.3 V/~tm. After high-temperature treatment of DWCNTs, long linear carbon chains （C-chains） can be grown inside the ultra-thin DWCNTs to form a novel C-chain@DWCNT nanostructure, showing that these ultra-thin DWCNTs are an appropriate nanocontainer for preparing truly one-dimensional nanostructures with one-atom-diameter.
