Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) nanosheets have attracted significant attention for their potential in electromagnetic wave absorption(EWA).However,their inherent self-stacking and exorbitant electrical conductivity inevitably lead to serious impedance mismatch,restricting their EWA ***,the optimization of impedance matching becomes *** this work,we developed polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@SiO_(2) composites with a sandwich-like core–shell structure by coating SiO_(2) on PMMA@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x).The results demonstrate that the superiority of the SiO_(2) layer in combination with PMMA@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x),outperforming other relative graded distribution structures and meeting the requirements of EWA *** resulting PMMA@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@SiO_(2) composites achieved a minimum reflection loss of-58.08 dB with a thickness of 1.9 mm,and an effective absorption bandwidth of 2.88 *** analysis revealed that the structural design of SiO_(2) layer not only optimized impedance matching,but also synergistically enhanced multiple loss mechanisms such as interfacial polarization and dipolar ***,this work provides valuable insights for the future preparation of high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbing Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-based composites.

Mount Semeru,an active volcano in East Java,Indonesia,erupted on December 4,2021,following extreme rainfall that caused an avalanche of hot pyroclastic flows and *** tropospheric conditions and dominant particle components in the atmosphere can be monitored using global Navigation Satellite System(gNSS)technology and remote sensing *** signal propagation delay in Precise Point Positioning(PPP)processing can be used to determine Zenith Tropospheric Delay(ZTD)and Precipitable Water Vapor(PWV)variables so that atmospheric conditions can be *** addition,by using remote sensing satellite data,it is possible to obtain rainfall data with high temporal resolution as well as the dominant particle and gas content values during *** the eruption period,the high value of PWV was dominated by the high intensity of precipitation during the rainy *** rainfall before the eruption caused activity inside the mountain to increase,which occurred in avalanche type *** from that,the atmosphere around Semeru was also dominated by SO_(2)content,which spreaded for tens of ***_(2)content began to be detected significantly by remote sensing sensors on December 7,*** this study,deformation and atmospheric monitoring were also carried out using low-cost gNSS at the Semeru Monitoring Station on September 9-15,*** results of the ZTD and ZWD values show the dominance of the wet component,which is directly proportional to rainfall activity in this period.

Spirooxindole is a compound with a unique framework and broad bioactivities in *** this study,we have reviewed various approaches or methods in synthesizing spirooxindole derivatives focused on green *** of spirooxindoles is mainly carried out through multicomponent reactions combined with various green approaches such as the use of heterogeneous catalysts(nano-sized,magnetic,metal-complex,and metal-organic framework catalysts),deep eutectic solvent,solvent-free reactions,catalyst-free reactions,as well as the use of ultrasonic and microwaves *** green method is carried out in addition to obtaining high yields,it also offers reductions in the use of hazardous chemicals,energy use,purification processes,and waste *** a result,green synthesis methods in the synthesis of spirooxindole derivatives are more environmentally friendly.

The increased valorization of renewable and cost-effective lignocellulosic feedstocks represents a viable,sustainable,and eco-friendly approach toward the production of biopellets as alternative energy *** aim of this research work was to investigate and evaluate the feasibility of using various lignocellulosic raw materials,i.e.,raru(Cotylelobium melanoxylon),mangrove(Rhizophora spp.),sengon(Paraserianthes falcataria),kemenyan toba(Styrax sumatrana),oil palm(Elaeis guineensis),manau rattan(Calamus manan),and belangke bamboo(gigantochloa pruriens)for manufacturing biopellets with different particle *** raw materials used were tested for their moisture content,specific gravity,ash,cellulose,and lignin *** addition,thermal analyses,i.e.,calorific values,thermogravimetric analysis(TgA),and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),were *** following properties of the biopellets produced were investigated:moisture content,volatile matter,ash content,fixed carbon,density,and thermal *** on an analysis of the raw materials,raru had the lowest moisture content(12%)and ash content(1.5%)and the highest specific gravity(1.2).Markedly,palm oil stem had the highestα-cellulose(55%)and lignin(37%)*** accordance with the SNI 8675:2018 standard requirements,biopellets with optimal properties(moisture content of 1.4%,ash content of 0.79%,density of 1.09 g/m^(3),calorific value of 4672 cal/g,and TgA residue of 13.9%),were manufactured from raru wood.

Occupant behavior(OB)is one of the significant sources of uncertainty in building performance *** OB modeling has received increased attention in the past decade,research on the degree of granularity or level of detail(LoD)required for representing occupants is still in the nascent *** paper analyzes the modeling and applicability of three LoDs to represent occupants in building performance assessment.A medium-sized prototype office building located in Chicago,Illinois is used as the simulation case *** occupant-centric attributes are adopted to develop the LoDs for OB *** first demonstrate the different modeling approaches required for simulating the three fidelity ***,we illustrate the suitability of the developed LoDs in supporting six building performance use cases across different lifecycle *** study intends to provide guidance for the building simulation community on appropriate OB representation to support various use cases.

Early efficacy of individual regimens containing bedaquiline in patients with drug resistant tuberculosis

Objective:To evaluate early efficacy of sputum conversion within 6 months of individual regimens containing bedaquiline in patients with drug resistant ***:We conducted a retrospective study among patients with drug resistant tuberculosis who were receiving individual regimens containing *** primary outcome was sputum conversion of both smear and culture within 6 months of *** used medical records of drug resistant tuberculosis patients from January 2020 to December *** study was conducted at *** Hospital,Indonesia from August to October ***:In this study,44 eligible drug resistant tuberculosis patients were initiated on regimens containing *** were 52.3%males and the median age was 45.5 *** rates of previous treatment(70.5%)and lung cavity(36.4%)were *** most common companion drugs included clofazimine,cycloserine,levofloxacin,and *** smear and culture conversion was seen in 79.4%and 82.1%at the 2nd month,*** than 97%patients had smear and culture conversion at the end of 6 ***:Among drug resistant tuberculosis patients,individual regimens containing bedaquiline were associated with high rates of smear and culture conversion at the end of 6 *** efficacy of regimens containing bedaquiline can be used to predict cure rate at the end of treatment.

In this study,the double-layered Aurivillius phases CaBi_(2)Ta_(2)O_(9)(CBT)and PbBi_(2)Ta_(2)O_(9)(PBT)were prepared through a hydrother-mal route with NaOH as a *** analysis confirmed that the CBT and PBT compounds were successfully formed and adopted an orthorhombic crystal structure with an A21am *** Bail refinements of XRD data indicated that the unit cell volume of CBT was smaller than PBT and is associated with the smaller ionic radius of Ca^(2+)compared to Pb^(2+).The surface mor-phology of both samples,as determined using SEM,demonstrated plate-like grains with anisotropic grain *** was found that the different ionic radii of A-site cations(Ca^(2+)and Pb^(2+))strongly affected the structural,optical and electrical properties of the Aurivillius *** occupation of smaller Ca^(2+)cations induced a higher structural distortion,which resulted in higher bandgap(Eg)energy and ferroelectric transition temperature(Tc)of CBT,compared to those of PBT.

Traditional ceramic materials are generally brittle and not flexible with high production costs,which seriously hinders their practical *** nanofiber ceramic aerogels are highly desirable for applications in extreme environments,however,the integration of multiple functions in their preparation is extremely *** tackle these challenges,we fabricated a multifunctional SiC@SiO_(2) nanofiber aerogel(SiC@SiO_(2) NFA)with a threedimensional(3D)porous cross-linked structure through a simple chemical vapor deposition method and subsequent heat-treatment *** as-prepared SiC@SiO_(2) NFA exhibits an ultralow density(~11 mg cm^(-3)),ultra-elastic,fatigue-resistant and refractory performance,high temperature thermal stability,thermal insulation properties,and significant strain-dependent piezoresistive sensing ***,the SiC@SiO_(2) NFA shows a superior electromagnetic wave absorption performance with a minimum refection loss(RL_(min))value of-50.36 d B and a maximum effective absorption bandwidth(EAB_(max))of 8.6 *** successful preparation of this multifunctional aerogel material provides a promising prospect for the design and fabrication of the cutting-edge ceramic materials.

Local geoid modeling in the central part of Java, Indonesia, using terrestrial-based gravity observations

The global Navigation Satellite System(gNSS)positioning method has been significantly developed in geodetic ***,the height obtained through gNSS observations is given in a geodetic height system that needs to be converted to orthometric height for engineering *** on geoid height,which can be calculated using the global geopotential mode,is required to convert such gNSS observations into orthometric ***,its accuracy is still insufficient for most engineering ***,a reliable geoid model is essential,especially in areas growing fast,e.g.,the central part of Java,*** this study,we modeled the local geoid model in the central part of Java,Indonesia,using terrestrial-based gravity *** Stokes'formula with the second Helmert's condensation method under the Remove-Compute-Restore approach was implemented to model the *** comparison between our best-performing geoid model and gNSS/leveling observations showed that the standard deviation of the geoid height differences was estimated to be 4.4 *** geoid result outperformed the commonly adopted global model of EgM2008 with the estimated standard deviation of geoid height differences of 10.7 cm.
