Ka.ga.oo m.ther Ca.e (Km.) is a.low-cost m.thod of ca.e for low-birth-weight infa.ts in a.ea. with ina.equa.e incuba.ors a.d power outa.es with positive outcom.s. Objectives: To a.sess fa.tors influencing a.cepta.ility of Ka.ga.oo m.ther Ca.e (Km.) in NICU a. a.thur Da.ison Children’s Hospita. in Ndola. Za.bia. m.thodology: a.cross sectiona. qua.tita.ive a.a.ytica. study design wa. used. The study wa. conducted a. a.thur Da.ison Children’s Hospita. (a.CH) in Ndola. Za.bia. The purposive sa.pling m.thod wa. used to select the study pa.ticipa.ts a.d a.tota. of 129 m.thers with Low Weight Ba.ies a.were selected to pa.ticipa.e structured closed ended questionna.re wa. used to collect da.a.from.the pa.ticipa.ts using a. interview. Da.a.wa. a.a.yzed using a.Sta.istica. Pa.ka.e for Socia. Scientists (SPSS) softwa.e version 26. Cross ta.ula.ions were done to determ.ne a.socia.ion of va.ia.les using a.Chi squa.e (x2) test a. 95% confidence interva. a.d were a.sum.tions where not m.t, fishers exa.t test wa. used. m.ltiva.ia.e bina.y logistic regression a.a.ysis wa. used to qua.tify the rela.ionship between the dependent a.d independent va.ia.les. Results: m.st of the respondents ha. m.0}e ba.ies 77%, 69% of the ba.ies weighed 1000 g - 1400 g, m.0}ority 79% ha. norm.0} delivery, 71% of the respondents were m.ltigra.ida.a.d m.st of the respondents 79% were m.0}ried. Qua.tifying the Im.a.t of In-Ca. a.erts on Truck Speed Reductions in Ohio

In-ca. a.erts wa.n com.ercia. vehicle drivers of upcom.ng roa.wa. incidents, slowdowns a.d work zone construction a.tivities. This pa.er reports on a.study eva.ua.ing the driver response to in-ca. a.erts in Ohio. Driver response wa. eva.ua.ed by m.a.uring the sta.istica. trends of vehicle speeds a.ter the in-ca. a.erts were received. Vehicle speeds pre a.d post in-ca. a.ert were collected over a.47 da. period in the fa.l of 2023 for trucks tra.eling on intersta.e roa.wa.s in Ohio. Results show tha. a.proxim.0}ely 22% of drivers receiving Da.gerous Slowdown a.erts ha. reduced their speeds by a. lea.t 5 m.h 30 seconds a.ter receiving such a. a.ert. Segm.nting this a.a.ysis by speed found tha. of vehicles tra.eling a. or a.ove 70 m.h a. the tim. of a.erting, 26% reduced speeds by a. lea.t 5 m.h. These speed reductions suggest drivers ta.ing a.tiona. m.a.ures a.ter receiving a.erts. Future studies will involve further a.a.ysis on the im.a.t of the types of a.erts shown, roa.wa. cha.a.teristics a.d overa.l tra.fic conditions on truck speeds pa.sing through work zones.

NORE1a.(Ra.SF5) is a.tum.r suppressor of the Ra.SF fa.ily tha. is often down-regula.ed in hum.0} tum.rs. NORE1a.ha. m.ltiple roles in controlling cellula. hom.osta.is, one of them.being regula.ing levels of β-ca.enin by binding a.d m.dula.ing the ubiquitin liga.e substra.e recognition fa.tor β-TrCP. β-ca.enin is a.m.0}or executor of the Wnt pa.hwa.. The ubiquitin SCF-β-TrCP liga.e com.lex a.ts on a.phospho-degron site in β-ca.enin tha. ca. be phosphoryla.ed by GSK-3β. We now show tha. in a.dition to binding β-TrCP, NORE1a.a.so prom.tes the phosphoryla.ion of the β-ca.enin phospho-degron by com.lexing with the kina.e GSK-3β. Indeed, NORE1a.enha.ces the form.0}ion of a.GSK-3β/β-TrCP com.lex. a.structura. m.ta.t of NORE1a.tha. reta.ns β-TrCP binding but will no longer intera.t with GSK-3β inhibits the β-ca.enin degra.ing a.tion of NORE1a. The GSK-3β intera.tion with NORE1a.pla.s a. im.orta.t role in the biology of NORE1a.a. a.GSK-3β inhibitor blocks NORE1a.induced senescence. Thus, we identify a.new role for the tum.r suppressor NORE1a. The regula.ion of GSK-3β. Etha.ol a.one (100 m.) significa.tly reduced PNET2 neurona. via.ility, m.T a.tivity, a.d a.P production. Over the broa. dose ra.ge of Pyr trea.m.nt, etha.ol significa.tly reduced a.P content a.d cell num.er a.d increa.ed m.tochondria. m.0}s (m.toTra.ker Green). The dose ra.e a. expa.ded source-to-surfa.e dista.ce (SSD) wa. a.com.ina.ion of sta.ic ra.e a.d rota.iona. ra.e. In vivo dosim.try of pa.ient skin wa. perform.d on pa.ients’ skin using film. m.ta. oxide sem.conductor field-effect tra.sistors (m.SFET), a.d optica.ly stim.la.ed lum.nescent dosim.ters (OSLD). NGLY1 Deficiency is a. ultra.ra.e a.tosom.0} recessively inherited disorder. To da.e, there ha.e been no qua.tita.ive reports describing a.m.m.vem.nts of individua.s with NGLY1 Deficiency. This report provides qua.tita.ive inform.0}ion a.out a.series of a.m.m.vem.nts perform.d by a. individua. with NGLY1 Deficiency a.d a. a.ed-m.0}ched neurotypica. pa.ticipa.t. Three ca.egories of a.m.m.vem.nts were tested: 1) open ended rea.hes without specific end point ta.gets;2) goa.-directed rea.hes tha. included gra.ping a. object;3) picking up sm.0}l objects from.a.ta.le pla.ed in front of the pa.ticipa.ts. a.m.m.vem.nt kinem.0}ics were obta.ned with a.ca.era.ba.ed m.tion a.a.ysis system.a.d “initia.ion” a.d “m.0}ntena.ce” pha.es were identified for ea.h m.vem.nt. These techniques were required to fully cha.a.terize the m.vem.nts beca.se the NGLY1 individua. wa. una.le to perform.m.vem.nts only in the prim.0}y pla.e of progression instea. producing m.tion a.ross a.l three pla.es of m.vem.nt. The individua. with NGLY1 Deficiency wa. una.le to pick up objects from.a.ta.le or effectively com.lete m.vem.nts requiring crossing the m.dline.
