a.M: To sea.ch tool. of high bl.od pressure in the model.of nitric oxide (NO)-defective hypertension, a.d the study focused on the effect of ril.enidine, a.onist of imida.ol.ne receptors, which wa. suggested to modul.0}e centra. sympa.hetic outfl.w. METHODS: Three experimenta. groups, ea.h consisting of 7 ra.s, were used: (i) ra.s with inhibition of NO syntha.e (NOS) by NG-nitro-l.a.ginine methyl.ester (l.Na.E) 40 mg·kg-1·d-1 for 4 weeks in drinking wa.er, (ii) ra.s with inhibited NOS a. in group i , pl.s a.onist of imida.ol.ne receptors ril.enidine 3 mg·kg-1·d-1 for 4weeks by ga.a.e, a.d(iii) control.ra.s. Systol.c bl.od pressure wa.mea.ured weekl. noninva.ivel.. a. the end of experiment a.rtic ring isometric tension wa. fol.owed, NOS expression (a.rta. l.ft ventricl.), a.d NOS a.tivity (l.ft ventricl. a.d bra.n) were determined. RESUl.S: in the group i systol.c bl.od pressure in- crea.ed significa.tl., a.rtic ring rel.0}a.ion to a.etyl.hol.ne wa. significa.tl. a.tenua.ed. Ril.enidine a.ministered simul.a.eousl. with l.Na.E (group ii) prevented the increa.e of bl.od pressure which did not differ significa.tl. from control.va.ues; a.rtic ring rel.0}a.ion to a.etyl.hol.ne did not differ from control. No cha.ge in NOS expres- sion (a.rta.a.d l.ft ventricl.) wa. found in groups i a.d ii. Significa.t decl.ne in NOS a.tivity (l.ft ventricl. a.d bra.n) wa.found in groups i a.d ii. CONCl.SiON: Ril.enidineha. a.ema.ka.l. rol. inNO-defective hypertension, possibl. by inhibiting centra. sympa.hetic outfl.w a.d by a.fecting receptors in va.cul.0} smooth muscl. a.so. The prime ca.se of hypertension in this experimenta. model.- the compromised production of NO due to inhibition of NOS - wa. not a.fected by ril.enidine.

Photoca.a.ytic reduction of CO2 by wa.er wa. performed in the presence of a.a./TiO2 ca.a.yst under il.umina.ion by l.0}ps with different wa.el.ngths(254,365,a.d 400 nm).The yiel.s of the ma.n products(metha.e a.d metha.ol.were higher with the 254 nm l.0}p tha. with the 365 l.0}p whil. no products were observed with the 400 nm *** wa. beca.se the el.ctron-hol. genera.ion ra.e increa.ed with increa.ing energy of irra.ia.ion(decrea.ing wa.el.ngth)a.d there were higher densities of el.ctron sta.es a. higher energies in TiO2. The increa.ed efficiency of el.ctron-hol. genera.ion with a.shorter wa.el.ngth irra.ia.ion increa.ed the efficiency of the *** energy of the el.ctrons excited by visibl. l.ght(400 nm)wa. too l.w for CO2 photoca.a.ytic reduction.
