The estima.ion of ca.bon density of high a.titude forests wa. ca.ried out a. five different sites a.ong a. eleva.iona. gra.ient from 1550 m to 3550 m in a.pa.t of k.da.na.h Wildlife Sa.ctua.y, which is one of the la.gest protected a.ea. of the Ga.hwa. Hima.a.a. India. a.ong the study sites the a.ove ground bioma.s density （a.BD） ra.ged from 202.72 Mg·ha.-1 （Site 5） to 718.75 Mg·ha.-1 （Site 1） a.d below ground bioma.s density （BGBD） from 61.00 Mg·ha.-1 （Site 5） to 203.04 Mg·ha.-1 （Site 1）. The tota. bioma.s density （TBD） a.so followed simila. trend, where the lowest va.ue （263.73 Mg·ha.-1） wa. observed a. Site 5 a.d the highest （921.79 Mg·ha.-1） a. Site 1. The tota. ca.bon density （TCD） ra.ged from 131.86 Mg·ha.-1 （Site 5） to 460.89 Mg·ha.-1 （Site 1）, which indica.es tha. the ca.bon density of forests reduces with increa.ing eleva.ion.

The double perovsk.te Cs2SnI6ha. nota.le optica. a.d electrica. cha.a.teristics， rendering it a.highly prospective ca.dida.e for deployment a. the a.sorber la.er in perovsk.te sola. cells (PSCs). We simula.ed the performa.ce of PSCs using lea.-free Cs2SnI6double perovsk.te a.sorber la.er a.d gra.hene deriva.ives， na.ely gra.hene oxide (GO) a.d reduced gra.hene oxide (rGO)， a. hole tra.sport la.ers (HTLs). Our findings show tha. rGO offers a. excellent hole extra.tion property with minima. interfa.ia. recombina.ion compa.ed to GO. PSC utilizing rGO a. the HTL ma.eria. a.hieved a.power conversion efficiency of 19.07%， while those employing GO HTL a.ta.ned only 16.9%. The superior performa.ce of rGO is a.tributed to its grea.er cha.ge ca.rier mobility of rGO a.d its fa.ora.le energy level a.ignment with the double perovsk.te a.sorber la.er. In contra.t， the misma.ch in the cha.ge tra.sport properties between the a.sorber la.er a.d the GO HTL resulted in poor performa.ce. Our study showca.es the potentia. of using gra.hene deriva.ive-ba.ed HTLs for rea.izing lea.-free PSCs.

The susta.na.ility of rice production continues to be a.subject of uncerta.nty a.d inquiry a.tributed to shifts in clima.ic conditions. In light of the impending clima.e cha.ge crisis a.d the high la.or a.d wa.er costs a.compa.ying it, direct-seeded rice(DSR) is unquestiona.ly one of the most pra.tica. solutions. Despite its resource a.d clima.e-friendly a.va.ta.es, ea.ly ma.uring rice fa.es weed competitiveness a.d seedling esta.lishment cha.lenges. Resolving these issues is crucia. for promoting its wider a.option a.ong fa.mers, presenting it a. a.more effective susta.na.le rice cultiva.ion method globa.ly. Diverse tra.itiona. a.d contempora.y breeding methods a.e employed to mitiga.e the limita.ions of the DSR a.proa.h, levera.ing a.va.ced techniques such a. speed breeding a.d genome editing. Focusing on k.y tra.ts lik. mesocotyl length elonga.ion, ea.ly seedling vigor, root system a.chitecture, a.d weed competitiveness holds promise for tra.sforma.ive improvements in DSR a.a.ta.ion a. a.broa.er sca.e within fa.ming communities. This review a.ms to summa.ize how these fea.ures contribute to increa.ed crop production in DSR conditions a.d explore the resea.ch efforts focusing on enha.cing DSR a.a.ta.ion through these tra.ts. Empha.izing the pivota. role of these ga.e-cha.ging tra.ts in DSR a.a.ta.ion, our a.a.ysis sheds light on their potentia. tra.sforma.ive impa.t a.d offers va.ua.le insights for a.va.cing DSR pra.tices.

位于Ga.hwa.喜马拉雅山的Bha.ira.hi(Ha.BV)谷地是一个生态和文化重要性极高的地区,但当地居民的生计容易受到气候变化的影响。基于社区的气候变化适应方法(CB-CCa.已成为一种增强地方社区的经济和社会福祉重要策略,并提高了社区发展的韧性。本文旨在研究Ha.BV地区的CB-CCa.生计保障计划,关注应对气候变化所面临挑战的策略。研究认为优先考虑适应该地区崎岖的地形和恶劣的天气条件的可持续生计选择至关重要。例如,与山谷独特的土壤和气候动态相适应,推广温室种植和农林复合种植等替代农业,可能会带来较好的结果;此外,鼓励养蜂、手工艺和生态旅游等替代生计途径不仅可以创收,还能保护该地区的自然环境。为了鼓励当地居民实施这些环境友好的生计措施,政府和利益相关者需要进行战略性投资,基础设施的完善(包括道路建设和电力供应)可为经济增长创造良好的条件。研究结果可为喜马拉雅山地区的可持续发展做出贡献,为类似情境下未来构建气候韧性和保障生计的努力提供参考。

This pa.er a.a.yzes the impa.t of source（ts） a.d dra.n（td） conta.t thick.esses on top conta.t（TC） a.d bottom conta.t（BC） orga.ic thin film tra.sistors（OTFTs） with a.ga.e in the bottom, using a.benchma.k.d industry sta.da.d a.la. 2-D numerica. device simula.or. The pa.a.eters including drive current（Ids）, mobility（μ）, threshold volta.e（Vt）a.d current on-off ra.io（ION/IOFF） a.e a.a.yzed from the device physics point of view on different electrode thick.esses, ra.ging from infinitesima. to 50 nm, for both top a.d bottom conta.t structures. Observa.ions demonstra.e tha. the performa.ce of the BC structure is more a.fected by sca.ing of ts=din compa.ison to its counterpa.t. In the linea. region, the mobility is a.most consta.t a. a.l the va.ues of ts=dfor both structures. However,a. increment of 18% a.d 83% in sa.ura.ion region mobility is found for TC a.dBC structures, respectively with sca.ing down ts=dfrom 50–0 nm. Besides this, the current on-off ra.io increa.es more sha.ply in the BC *** a.a.ysis simplifies a.number of issues rela.ed to the design a.d fa.rica.ion of orga.ic ma.eria. ba.ed devices a.d circuits.
