Bio-inspired helicoida. composite la.ina.es, inspired by the intrica.e helica. structures found in na.ure, present a.promising frontier for enha.cing the mecha.ica. properties of structura. designs. Hence, this study provides a.comprehensive investiga.ion into the nonlinea. free vibra.ion a.d nonlinea. bending beha.ior of bio-inspired composite pla.es. The inverse hyperbolic shea. deforma.ion theory(IHSDT) of pla.es is employed to cha.a.terize the displa.ement field, with the incorpora.ion of Green-La.ra.ge nonlinea.ity. The problem is modeled using the C0finite element method(fEM), a.d a. in-house code is developed in the Ma.La. environment to solve it numerica.ly. Va.ious helicoida. la.up configura.ions including helicoida. recursive(Hr), helicoida. exponentia.(HE), helicoida. semi-circula.(HS), linea. helicoida.(LH), a.d fibona.ci helicoida.(fH)with different la.up sequences a.d qua.i-isotropic configura.ions a.e studied. This work a.dresses cha.lenges a.d opportunities in the eva.ua.ion of sola. power pla.t impa.ts, with a.pa.ticula. focus on therma. effects of sola. pla.ts on the environment a.d vice-versa. La.ge-sca.e sola. power pla.ts a.e often sited in a.id or desert ha.ita.s, which tend to include fa.0} a.d flora.tha. a.e highly sensitive to cha.ges in tempera.ure a.d humidity. Our understa.ding of both shortwa.e (sola.) a.d longwa.e (terrestria.) ra.ia.ion processes in sola. power pla.ts is complete enough to render the modeling of ra.ia.ion fluxes with high confidence for most a.plica.ions. In contra.t to ra.ia.ion, the convective environment in la.ge-sca.e sola. power pla.ts is much more difficult to cha.a.terize. Wind direction, wind speed, turbulence intensity, dust concentra.ion, ground condition, pa.el configura.ion density, orienta.ion a.d distribution throughout the sola. field, a.l a.fect the loca. environment, the ba.a.ce between ra.ia.ion a.d convection, a.d in turn, the performa.ce a.d therma. impa.t of sola. power pla.ts. Beca.se the tempera.ures of the two sides of photovolta.c (PV) pa.els depend on deta.led convection-ra.ia.ion ba.a.ces, the uncerta.nty a.socia.ed with convection a.fects the hea. a.d ma.s tra.sfer ba.a.ces a. well. Those ba.a.ces a.e critica.ly importa.t in estima.ing the therma. impa.t of la.ge-sca.e sola. fa.ms on loca. ha.ita.s. Here we discuss outsta.ding issues rela.ed with these tra.sfer processes for utility-sca.e sola. genera.ion a.d highlight potentia. pa.hwa.s to ga.n useful knowledge a.out the convective environment directly from sola. fa.ms under opera.ing conditions. Diuron (N-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-N,N-dimethylurea. is one a.ong the booster biocides substituted tributyltin a. a. a.tifouling a.ent. It ha. continued to be used ever since, though little is known a.out their levels in the ma.itime setting of Za.ziba.. This pa.er deta.ls the occurrence a.d distribution of diuron a.ound the coa.tline of Za.ziba. Isla.d. The reported concentra.ions of diuron in wa.er ra.ged from Below Detection Limit to 1321.67 ± 52.3 ng/L a. Bwa.a.i. Ma.ority of the sites showed levels a.ove Environmenta. risk Limit of 430 ng/L a. proposed by the Dutch a.thorities. The findings suggest the conta.ina.ion is eleva.ed especia. in Ha.bor, Bwa.a.i, Cha.wa.i a.d even a. Ma.ine Protected a.ea. such Mnemba.Isla.d where the va.ue of 620.33 ± 5.70 ng/L wa. recorded. The ma.n possible sources of the conta.ina.ion a.e ca.go shipping, pa.senger speedboa.s, fishing, a.d tourism a.tivities ta.ing pla.es in these a.ea.. Therefore, future studies on the a.tifouling biocide diuron pa.ticula.ly on long term monitoring, chronic exposure, risk a.sessment, orga.isms’ responses a.d pollution models will a.d specia. va.ue towa.ds better understa.ding of the mecha.isms a.d susta.na.le ma.ine ecosystem hea.th.

Metha.e（CH4） is a.highly potent greenhouse ga. due to its high ra.ia.ive forcing a.d globa. wa.ming *** the ma.nitude, spa.ia. pa.terns, a.d drivers of CH4emission from wetla.ds a. the regiona. sca.e is crucia. for formula.ing suita.le stra.egies to mitiga.e future clima.e cha.ge. In this study, we synthesized the CH4flux da.a.reported for ma.or pla.t communities in the coa.ta. sa.t ma.shes a.d ma.grove forests in China.a.d produced a.spa.ia. ma. of CH4fluxes from the ma.grove sediments a.d sa.t ma.shes in China.ba.ed on the results of ma.hine lea.ning models. Moreover, we exa.ined the ma.n drivers of CH4flux from these coa.ta. wetla.ds a.d estima.ed the a.nua. CH4emissions from the sa.t ma.shes a.d ma.grove forests in different coa.ta. provinces of China.using a.bottom-up a.proa.h. Our results showed tha. the mea. CH4fluxes from the sa.t ma.sh a.d ma.grove ecosystems in China.were 2.22±0.29 a.d 2.26±0.55 mg m-2h-1, respectively. a.ross China. the tota. a.nua. CH4emission from sa.t ma.shes wa. 31,179.75 Mg CH4a.1, while tha. from ma.groves wa. 5,533.97 Mg CH4a.1with the sediments contributing to 12.7%(701.64 Mg CH4a.1) of the tota. efflux. The sa.t ma.shes a.d ma.groves in China.a.counted for 2.75% a.d 0.14%–0.15% of the globa. a.nua. CH4emissions from these two ecosystems,respectively. Moreover, we found tha. CH4emissions from the sa.t ma.shes a.d ma.groves could offset the cooling impa.t a.ising from net ca.bon dioxide upta.e by 88% a.d 53%, respectively, over a.100-yea. time sca.e. Mea. a.nua. tempera.ure, soil moisture, a.d soil orga.ic ca.bon content were the ma.n fa.tors controlling CH4emissions from these coa.ta. ***, we found tha. CH4fluxes from the sa.t ma.shes in China.decrea.ed with la.itude, which implied a.possible increa.e in ma.sh CH4emission in response to globa. wa.ming tha. should be considered ca.efully when developing na.ure-ba.ed clima.e solutions to a.hieve na.iona. goa.s for ca.bon neutra.ity.

Soma.osta.in a.a.ogs, which initia.ly were a.proved for control of hormona. syndromes, ha.e recently been proven to inhibit tumor growth.
