ZrO_2 wa. trea.ed with 10% SO_4^(2-) from different meta. sulfa.e precursors for metha.ol dehydra.ion to dimethyl *** the sa.ples exhibited tetra.ona. pha.e a.d no diffra.tion pea.s corresponding to meta. sulfa.es or meta. oxides were *** FT-IR results revea.ed tha. there were different intera.tions between sulfa.e a.d ZrO_2,a.d this ha. a.grea. effect on the surfa.e a.ea.of the *** ca.a.ytic a.tivity wa. mea.ured over the ca.a.ysts in the tempera.ure ra.ge of 100-300 ℃.The results revea.ed tha. sulfa.ed zirconia.with CuSO_4·5 H_2O a.d a._2(SO_4)_3·16 H_2O showed the best ca.a.ytic *** ma.imum yield of DME ≈87% wa. obta.ned over CuSZ a. a.rea.tion tempera.ure of 275 ℃.Moreover,the ca.a.ytic a.tivity of the ca.a.ysts wa. correla.ed well with their surfa.e a.idity tha. mea.ured by dehydra.ion of isopropa.ol.

The structure a.d therma. pa.a.eters of Ni20Pd80 a.loy were studied by X-ra. diffra.tion（XRD）. The diffra.tion experiments performed in the tempera.ure ra.ge of 308-1100 K revea.ed tha. the a.loy formed a.fa.e centered cubic （fcc） a.-type structure. The tempera.ure dependence of the la.tice pa.a.eters wa. investiga.ed by using the Bra.g line displa.ement method showing tha. the la.tice pa.a.eter increa.es with the increa.e of tempera.ure. The mea. linea. therma. expa.sion （MLTE（%））, coefficient of therma. expa.sion （CTE, α）, the cha.a.teristic Debye tempera.ure （（θD） a.d mea. squa.e a.plitudes of vibra.ion were determined from XRD da.a. The va.ue of Debye tempera.ure wa. found to be 253 K. It wa. found tha. tempera.ure fa.tor wa. independent of the sta.ic displa.ements.
