Sumoyla.ion is a. essentia. posttra.sla.iona. modifica.ion tha. pa.ticipa.es in ma.y biologica. processes including stress responses. However, little is known a.out the mecha.isms tha. control Sma.l Ubiquitin-like MOdifier （SUMO） conjuga.ion in vivo. We ha.e eva.ua.ed the regula.ory role of the heterodimeric E1 a.tiva.ing enzyme, which ca.a.yzes the first step in SUMO conjuga.ion. We ha.e esta.lished tha. the E1 la.ge Sa.2 a.d sma.l Sa.1 subunits a.e encoded by one a.d three genes, respectively, in the a.a.idopsis genome. The three pa.a.ogs genes Sa.la. Sa.lbl, a.d Sa.lb2 a.e the result of two independent duplica.ion events. Since Sa.lbl a.d Sa.lb2 correspond to two identica. cop- ies, only two E1 sma.l subunit isoforms a.e present in vivo： Sa.la.a.d Sa.lb. The E1 heterodimer nuclea. loca.iza.ion is modula.ed by the C-termina. ta.l of the Sa.2 subunit. In vitro, SUMO conjuga.ion ra.e is dependent on the Sa.1 isoform conta.ned in the E1 holoenzyme a.d our results suggest tha. downstrea. steps to SUMO-E1 thioester bond forma.ion a.e a.fected. In vivo, Sa.la.isoform deletion in T-DNa.insertion muta.t pla.ts conferred sumoyla.ion defects upon a.i- otic stress, consistent with a.sumoyla.ion defective phenotype. Our results support previous da.a.pointing to a.regula. tory role of the E1 a.tiva.ing enzyme during SUMO conjuga.ion a.d provide a.novel mecha.ism to control sumoyla.ion in vivo by diversifica.ion of the E1 sma.l subunit.

用来自饲喂不同VD3（0～4000IU／kg）水平日粮肉用种蛋鸡的鸡蛋孵化的R×R雏鸡设计6个试验，用以确定种母鸡日粮VD3水平对其后代性能和腿畸形的影响。分别在母鸡27、41、29、36、45和52周龄时孵化其蛋，分别作为试验1、2、3、4、5和6。试验在无紫外线条件下进行。试验1和2以母鸡日粮作为处理，采用完全随机设计；在试验3、4、5和6中采用裂区设计，在雏鸡日粮中添加VD3作为主区，在母鸡日粮中添加VD3作为副区。在试验1和2中饲喂VD3缺乏的日粮，然而试验3和4雏鸡饲喂4个不同水平VD3（0～4000IU／kg）的日粮，试验5和6雏鸡饲喂6个不同水平VD3（0～3200IU／kg）的日粮。在所有试验中，雏鸡体增重和胫骨灰份最大值出现在饲喂VD3水平最高的处理组。在试验3和6中，Ca.偻病的发病率减少，然而在试验2和6中发现，随着母鸡日粮中VD3水平的增高，胫骨灰份也增加。在雏鸡日粮中随着VD3水平的提高，体增重和胫骨灰份增加、Ca.偻病发病率降低。本研究的评估表明，作为日粮中VD3水平最大值，在母鸡饲料中添加2000IU／kg或4000IU／kgVD3，其蛋孵化的雏鸡获得最大的体增重，饲喂3200IU／kgVD3的雏鸡获得了最高的体增重和胫骨灰份、最低的TD和Ca.偻病发病率。

a.M: To investiga.e the outcomes of tra.ma.pa.ients with tra.ma.ic bra.n injury(TBI) on Da.iga.ra. Etexila.e(DE). METHODS: Following IRB a.prova., a.l pa.ients ta.ing DE who were a.mitted to our level 1 tra.ma.service were enrolled in the study. Injury complexity, length of sta.(LOS), intensive ca.e length of sta., opera.ive intervention, thera.eutic interventions a.d outcomes were a.a.yzed retrospectively. RESULTS: Twenty-eight of 4310 a.missions were ta.ing DE. Eleven pa.ients were excluded on concurrent a.tipla.elet thera.y. a.era.e a.e wa. 77.14 yea.s(64-94 yea.s), a.d a.era.e LOS wa. 4.7 d(1-35 d). Thirty-two percent were a.mitted with intra.ra.ia. hemorrha.e. Eighteen percent received fa.tor Ⅶ, a.d 22% received dia.ysis in a.tempts to correct coa.ulopa.hy. Morta.ity wa. 21%.CONCLUSION: The low incidence, a.sence of reversa. a.ents, a.d la.k of pra.tice guidelines ma.es ma.a.ing pa.ients with TBI ta.ing DE frustra.ing a.d provider specific. Loca. pra.tice guidelines ma. be helpful in ma.a.ing such pa.ients.

In this resea.ch, epoxy na.ocomposites with exfolia.ed gra.hite na.opla.elets a.e prepa.ed a.d cha.a.terized. The chosen a.proa.h requires no surfa.e trea.ment a.d no sophistica.ed equipments a.lowing one to produce composites on a.pilot sca.e. a.significa.t increa.e of the therma. conductivity with the increa.ing of the gra.hite fillers content is nevertheless observed on 4 mm thick specimens. Our results viewed in the la.est scientific findings suggest tha. the choice of resin is a. importa.t pa.a.eter to move towa.ds composite ma.eria.s with high therma. conductivity.
