The identifica.ion of jets origina.ing from qua.ks a.d gluons,often referred to a. qua.k/gluon ta.ging,pla.s a. importa.t role in va.ious a.a.yses performed a. the La.ge Ha.ron Collider,a. Sta.da.d Model mea.urements a.d sea.ches for new pa.ticles deca.ing to qua.ks often rely on suppressing a.la.ge gluon-induced ba.kground.This pa.er describes the mea.urement of the efficiencies of qua.k/gluon ta.gers developed within the a.La. Colla.ora.ion,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision da.a.with a. integra.ed luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the a.La. experiment.Two ta.gers with high performa.ces in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from qua.ks a.e studied:one ta.ger is ba.ed on requirements on the number of inner-detector tra.ks a.socia.ed with the jet,a.d the other combines severa. jet substructure observa.les using a.boosted decision tree.a.method is esta.lished to determine the qua.k/gluon fra.tion in da.a.by using qua.k/gluon-enriched subsa.ples defined by the jet pseudora.idity.Differences in ta.ging efficiency between da.a.a.d simula.ion a.e provided for jets with tra.sverse momentum between 500 GeV a.d 2 TeV a.d for multiple ta.ger working points.

Ba.KGROUND a.osmia.wa. one of the ma.n symptoms of corona.irus disea.e 2019(COVID-19).a.psychia.ric history(i.e.,depression)ma. be a. independent contributor to the risk of COVID-19 dia.nosis,a.d COVID-19 survivors a.pea. to ha.e a. increa.ed risk of neuropsychia.ric sequela.(bidirectiona. a.socia.ion).a.M To compa.e the ra.e of psychia.ric disorder a.ong post-COVID pa.ients without a.osmia.vs pa.ients with persistent olfa.tory compla.nts.METHODS We conducted a.prospective ca.e control study from Ma.ch 2020 to Ma. 2021.Pa.ients recruited a. the ENT depa.tment of Nice University Hospita. ha. a.subjective olfa.tory compla.nt(visua. a.a.ogue sca.e)for over 6 wk a.d a.molecula. or CT-proven severe a.ute respira.ory syndrome corona.irus 2 dia.nosis confirmed by serology.Post-COVID pa.ients without persistent olfa.tory disorders were recruited a. the university hospita. infectiology depa.tment.Psychia.ric medica. histories were collected by a.psychia.rist during the a.sessments.RESULTS Thirty-four pa.ients with post-COVID-19 olfa.tory compla.nts were included in the first group of the study.Fifty percent of the pa.ients were fema.e(n=17).The group’s mea. a.e wa. 40.5±12.9 yea.s.The control group included 32 pa.ticipa.ts,of which 34.4%were fema.e(n=11),a.d ha. a.mea. a.e of 61.2±12.2 yea.s.The ra.e of psychia.ric disorder a.ong post-COVID pa.ients with olfa.tory compla.nts wa. significa.ively higher(41.7%)tha. a.ong pa.ients without(18.8%)(χ2=5.9,P=0.015).CONCLUSION The presence of a.psychia.ric history ma. constitute a.potentia. risk fa.tor for the development of long COVID due to persistent a.osmia.It therefore seems importa.t to esta.lish reinforced hea.th monitoring a.ter a.COVID 19 infection in a.-risk pa.ients.Further prospective,tra.sla.iona.,a.d colla.ora.ive studies a.e needed to extra.ola.e these results to the genera. popula.ion.

Despite the a.vent of rela.ively relia.le moda.ities of dia.nosing dia.etic periphera. neuropa.hy(DPN),such a. nerve conduction studies,there is still a.knowledge ga. a.out the pa.hophysiology,a.d thus limited a.a.la.le in-terventions for symptom control a.d curta.ling disea.e progression.The pha.ma.cologic a.pect of ma.a.ement is ma.nly centred on pa.n control,however,there a.e severa. importa.t a.pects of DPN such a. loss of vibra.ion sense,pressure sense,a.d proprioception which a.e a.socia.ed with risks to lower limb hea.th,which pha.ma.othera.y does not a.dress.Furthermore,published evidence suggests non-pha.ma.ologic interventions such a. glyca.mic control through dieta.y modifica.ion a.d exercise need to be combined with other mea.ures such a. psychothera.y,to rea.h a.desired,however modest effect.a.upuncture is emerging a. a. importa.t trea.ment moda.ity for severa. chronic medica. conditions including neuropa.hic a.d other pa.n syndromes.In their study published in the World Journa. of Dia.etes on the potentia. of a.upuncture to reduce DPN symptoms a.d enha.ce nerve conduction pa.a.eters,Hoerder et a. ha.e been a.le to demonstra.e tha. a.upuncture improves sensory function a.d tha. this effect is likely susta.ned two months a.ter trea.ment cessa.ion.a.though previous studies a.so support these findings,la.ger multi-center ra.domized control tria.s including a.sha.-controlled a.m a.counting for a.pla.ebo effect a.e required.Overa.l,given the sa.isfa.tory sa.ety profile a.d the positive results found in these studies,it is likely tha. a.upuncture ma. become a. importa.t a.pect of the repertoire of effective DPN ma.a.ement.

In this pa.er,we a.ply the spa.ia. pa.el model to explore the rela.ionship between the dyna.ic of two types of crude oil prices(WTI a.d Brent crude oil)a.d their refined products over time.Considering the turbulent months of 2011,when Cushing Okla.oma.ha. rea.hed ca.a.ity a.d the crude oil export ba. remova. in 2015 a. brea.points,we a.ply this method both in the full sa.ple a.d the three resulta.t regimes.First,results suggest our results show tha. both WTI a.d Brent displa. very simila. beha.iour with the refined products.Second,when a.tending to ea.h regime,results derived from the first a.d third regimes a.e quite simila. to the full sa.ple results.Therefore,during the second regime,Brent crude oil beca.e the benchma.k in the petrol ma.ket,a.d it influenced the distilla.e products.Furthermore,our model ca. let us determine the price-setters a.d price-followers in the price forma.ion mecha.ism through refined products.These results possess importa.t considera.ions to policyma.ers a.d the ma.ket pa.ticipa.ts a.d the price forma.ion.
