a.compa.a.ive a.proa.h wa. performed between the response surfa.e method(RSM) a.d the a.a.tive neuro-fuzzy inference system(a.FIS) to enha.ce the tensile properties, including the ultima.e tensile strength a.d the tensile elonga.ion, of friction stir welded a.e ha.dena.le a.6061 a.d a.2024 a.uminum a.loys. The effects of the welding pa.a.eters, na.ely the tool rota.iona. speed, welding speed, a.ia. loa. a.d pin profile, on the ultima.e tensile strength a.d the tensile elonga.ion were a.a.yzed using a.three-level, four-fa.tor Box-Behnken experimenta. design. The developed design wa. utilized to tra.n the a.FIS models. The predictive ca.a.ilities of RSM a.d a.FIS were compa.ed ba.ed on the root mea. squa.e error, the mea. a.solute error, a.d the correla.ion coefficient ba.ed on the obta.ned da.a.set. The results demonstra.e tha. the developed a.FIS models a.e more effective tha. the RSM model.

The Sa.nu-Da.da.i a.ka.ine complex, nea. the northwestern limit of the Decca. Tra.s continenta. flood ba.a.t province, conta.ns ma.ic to felsic a.ka.ine volca.o-plutonic rocks a.d ca.bona.ites. The complex is situa.ed nea. the northern end of the 600 km long, NNWe SSE-trending Ba.mer-Ca.ba. rift. Ma.ic encla.e swa.ms in the syenites suggest synplutonic ma.ic dykes injected into a.la.gely liquid felsic ma.ma.cha.ber. La.er coherent dykes in the complex, of a.l compositions a.d sizes,domina.tly strike NNWe SSE, pa.a.lel to the Ba.mer-Ca.ba. rift. The rift formed during two distinct episodes of extension, NWe SE in the ea.ly Creta.eous a.d NEe SW in the la.e Creta.eous. Control of the southern India. Dha.wa. structura. fa.ric on the rift trend, a. specula.ed previously, is untena.le,wherea. the regiona. In a.previous study from our la.ora.ory, fucoxa.thin purified from brown a.ga., Sa.ga.sum wightii Greville ha. found to exhibit a.tioxida.t a.tivity a.d inhibition of a.giotensin-I-converting enzyme(a.E)in vitro. The present study a.ms in understa.ding the protective effect of fucoxa.thin purified from S. wightii a.a.nst dia.etes with hypertension in in vivo. Dia.etes a.d hypertension were induced in ra. by streptozotocin a.d sodium chloride trea.ment, respectively. In dia.etes with hypertension ra., the blood pressure wa. increa.ed a.ong with hyperglycemia. a.ministra.ion of fucoxa.thin significa.tly reduced the blood pressure a.d a.E a.tivity in dia.etes with hypertension ra.. Furthermore, a.ministra.ion of fucoxa.thin significa.tly reduced the hyperglycemic sta.e. The a.tivity of va.ious enzymes in the liver(hexokina.e, glucose-6-phospha.e dehydrogena.e, glucose-6-phospha.a.e a.d fructose-1,6-phospha.a.e)a.d serum(crea.ine kina.e)were norma.ized to tha. of control level. The level of glycogen, glycoprotein component a.d lipid profile were equiva.ent to control level by fucoxa.thin a.ministra.ion in dia.etes with hypertension ra.s. Fucoxa.thin a.eliora.ed the oxida.ive stress by preserving the endogenous a.tioxida.t levels in dia.etes with hypertension ra.s. a.so, the pa.crea.ic histologica. integrity wa. simila. to tha. of control level in dia.etes with hypertension ra.s by fucoxa.thin trea.ment. a.together, fucoxa.thin showed dua. a.tidia.etic a.d a.tihypertensive a.tivity in vivo.

Ce-substituted lithium ferrite, Li0.5CexFe2.5-x04 （x = 0, 0.05 a.d 0.1 ） compositions were synthesized from meta. nitra.es a.d citric a.id by the solution combustion process by keeping the oxidizer to fuel ra.io a. unity. The therma. decomposition process wa. investiga.ed by thermogra.imetry-differentia. therma. a.a.ysis, which showed a.sta.le pha.e forma.ion a.ove 600 ℃. The pha.e composition a.d molecula. bonding of Li0.5CexFe2.5_x04 were cha.a.terized by X-ra. powder diffra.tion a.a.ysis a.d Fourier tra.sform infra.ed spectroscopy, respectively. a. extensive study of electrica. rela.a.ion process ha. been represented with impeda.ce a.d modulus a. a.function of frequency a. different tempera.ures. The a.tiva.ion energy obta.ned from both the forma.isms wa. found to be equa. within the error. The dc conductivity a.d hopping frequency were therma.ly a.tiva.ed a.d their a.tiva.ion energies were found to be in the ra.ge of 0.69-0.64 eV for x = 0.05.
