Purpose of the study: Resea.ch of the clinica. a.d dia.nostic significa.ce of determina.ion of Lipoca.in-2 a.socia.ed with neutrophilic gela.ina.es (uNGa.) in the urine of children with urina.y tra.t infection (UTI) a.d pyelonephritis. Ma.eria.s a.d methods: We exa.ined 30 children with a.ute pyelonephritis a.d UTI a.ed 1 to 16 yea.s (a.era.e a.e 7.32 ± 4.52) including 26 girls a.d 4 boys. v.rifica.ion of the dia.nosis wa. conducted on the ba.is of clinica. a.d la.ora.ory da.a. medica. history a.d instrumenta. exa.ina.ion of pa.ients. a.l children were div.ded into 2 groups: 1st group—15 children with a.ute pyelonephritis, 2nd group—15 children with urina.y tra.t infection. uNGa. wa. mea.ured in the urine by enzyme-linked immunosorbent a.sa. (EISa. (Biov.ndor La.ora.oty Medicine). Results: It is found, tha. the urine lev.l of NGa. depends on the da.a.e degree of rena. pa.enchyma. The correla.ion of medium strength wa. found between the excretion lev.l of uNGa. during the a.ute period of pyelonephritis a.d the detection of rena. sca.s a.cording to the DMSa.nephroscintigra.hy da.a. In the group of children with the a.ute pyelonephritis the direct correla.ion of medium strength wa. found between the excretion lev.l of uNGa./crea.inine a.d leukocytosis v.0}ue a.d a.so with the CRP blood lev.l. Conclusion: The results a.low us to recommend the determina.ion of the excretion lev.l of uNGa./crea.inine a. a. a.ditiona. non-inv.0}iv. ma.ker for the ea.ly detection of rena. pa.enchyma.injury.
