We demonstra.e a.Ⅲ-Ⅴ-on-silicon-nitride mode-locked la.er through the heterogeneous integra.ion of a.semiconductor optica. a.plifier on a.pa.sive silicon-nitride ca.ity using the technique of micro-tra.sfer printing. In the initia. pha.e of our study, we focus on optimizing the la.ing wa.elength to be centered a. 1550 nm. This optimiza.ion is a.hieved by conducting experiments with 27 mode-locked la.ers, ea.h incorpora.ing optica. a.plifiers fea.uring distinct multiple-qua.tum-well photoluminescence va.ues. Subsequently we present a.comprehensive study investiga.ing the beha.ior of the mode-locking regime when the electrica. driving pa.a.eters a.e va.ied. Specifica.ly, we explore the impa.t of the ga.n volta.e a.d sa.ura.le a.sorber current on the locking sta.ility of a.tuna.le mode-locked la.er. By ma.ipula.ing these pa.a.eters, we demonstra.e the precise control of the optica. spectrum a.ross a.wide ra.ge of wa.elengths spa.ning from 1530 to 1580 nm. Furthermore, we implement a. optimiza.ion a.proa.h ba.ed on a.Monte Ca.lo a.a.ysis a.med a. enha.cing the mode overla. within the ga.n region. This a.justment ena.les the a.hievement of a.la.er emitting a.23-nm-wide spectrum while ma.nta.ning a.defined 10 dB ba.dwidth for a.pulse repetition ra.e of 3 GHz.

Type II a.d Ib/c supernova. （SNe II a.d Ib/c） ha.e ma.e ma.or stella. nu- cleosynthetic contributions to the inventories of sta.le nuclides during chemica. evolu- tion of the Ga.a.y. a.ca.e study is performed here with the help of recently developed numerica. simula.ions of Ga.a.tic chemica. evolution in the sola. neighborhood to un- dersta.d the contributions of SNe II a.d Ib/c by compa.ing the stella. nucleosynthetic yields obta.ned by two lea.ing groups in this field. These stella. nucleosynthetic yields differ in terms of their trea.ment of stella. evolution a.d nucleosynthesis. The formu- la.ion describing Ga.a.tic chemica. evolution is developed with the recently revised sola. meta.licity of -0.014. Furthermore, the recent nucleosynthetic yields of stella. models ba.ed on the revised sola. meta.licity a.e a.so used. The a.a.ysis suggests tha. it could be difficult to expla.n, in a.self-consistent ma.ner, the va.ious fea.ures a.so- cia.ed with the elementa. evolutiona.y trends over Ga.a.tic timesca.es by a.y single a.opted stella. nucleosynthetic model tha. incorpora.es SNe II a.d Ib/c.

Thrust a. the ba.e, a.d the South Tibeta. Deta.hment System a. the top. The migma.ite zone in the centre ha. the highest gra.e of meta.orphism in the NW Hima.a.a. a.d show evidence of flowa.e. Zircons extra.ted from sa.ples of meta.ediment, migma.ite, biotite gra.ite a.d in situ pa.tia. melt(tourma.ine-bea.ing leucogra.ite) a.ong the Bha.ira.hi Va.ley, preserve U-Pb isotopic evidence of ma.ma.ic history, ma.ma.source a.d effects of the Hima.a.a. orogeny in the region. In this study, a.new robust micromecha.ica. a.pa.a.us developed a. the City University of Hong Kong is described;it is ca.a.le of conducting inter-gra.ule(or inter-pa.ticle) loa.ing tests on fine gra.el to ba.la.t-sized ma.eria.s of sizes a. sma.l a. 5-10 mm to gra.ules(or ba.la.t) a. big a. 50 mm. The focus of our study is the description of the ma.or technica. fea.ures of the new a.pa.a.us a.d its performa.ce a.d repea.a.ility in conducting experiments on reference gra.ns of chrome steel ba.ls a.d gla.s ba.ls;in a.dition, we conducted a.prelimina.y set of experiments on crushed gra.itic rock, which is a.ma.eria. widely used in geotechnica. a.d tra.sporta.ion infra.tructure.
