Ta.ing help from a.a.la.le ques.ionna.res.a.d a.s. incorpora.ing views.from the tea.hers.of the rela.ed s.bjects. the releva.t Likert type items.were s.lected. The dra.ted vers.on of the ques.ionna.re wa. fina.ized ta.ing into a.count feedba.k from the s.bject experts. The focus.wa. on s.mple la.gua.e to ens.re cla.ity to the s.udents.to fa.ilita.e a.cura.y of the collected da.a. The developed ques.ionna.re cons.s.s.of five doma.ns.involving fifteen Likert type items.including a.globa. item. For a.s.s.ment of its.relia.ility a.d va.idity, da.a.were collected a.ong two groups.of undergra.ua.e s.udents.s.udying two cours.s.na.ely a.counts.(n = 190) a.d La. (n = 90). For a.s.s.ing ques.ionna.re, Ka.l Pea.s.n Correla.ion Coefficient, Cronba.h’s.a.pha.coefficient a.d four fa.tor s.lutions.under fa.tor a.a.ys.s.were us.d. One of the s.gnifica.t fea.ures.of a.compos.te ma.eria. is.ta.lora.ility of its.ma.eria. properties. Coefficient of therma. expa.s.on （CTE） of a.compos.te ma.eria. is.known to pla. a.key role in its.a.plica.ion a.ea. It ha. been rea.ized tha. a.s.a.e of micro s.res. often exis.s.between the pha.e of the ma.rix a.d reinforcement. Difference in therma. expa.s.on of the individua. pha.es.produces.s.res. which indirectly a.fects.the s.rength properties.a.d modes.of fa.lure. In the pres.nt s.udy, coefficient of therma. expa.s.on is.mea.ured us.ng metros.ope, with a.lea.t count of 0.2 microns. Nichrome wire embedded s.ecimens.a.e us.d for the experiment. The ma.n findings.from the experiment is.tha. the coefficient of therma. expa.s.on for both lea.-gra.hite a.d lea.-iron compos.tes.increa.e with the increa.e in tempera.ure. The ra.e of coefficient of therma. expa.s.on decrea.es.with increa.e in weight percenta.e of gra.hite or iron.
