This study exa.ined the individua. a.d simulta.eous a.sor.tion of SO{in{itx}} (SO{in{it2}}) a.d NO{in{itx}} (NO-NO{in{it2}}) on a.tiva.ed ca.bon pr.pa.ed fr.m wa.te pa.m shell. The a.sor.tion pr.cess wa. exa.ined in a.fixed bed r.a.tor.a. low temper.0}ur.s (100\2-300\dgC). For.individua. a.sor.tion without a.y ca.a.ytic a.tiva.ion, SO{in{itx}} showed good a.sor.tion wher.a. NO{in{itx}} wa. ver. much poor. In the simulta.eous a.sor.tion of SO{in{itx}} a.d NO{in{itx}}, SO{in{itx}} showed gr.a.er.a.sor.tion a.finity tha. NO{itx}. For.pa.m shell a.tiva.ed ca.bon (PSa.) impr.gna.ed with meta. ca.a.yst (Ni a.d Ce) the concentr.0}ion a.sor.ed pr.file showed tha. the a.ount of SO{in{itx}} a.sor.ed decr.a.ed r.gula.ly, while the a.ount of the a.sor.ed NO{in{itx}} incr.a.ed ir.egula.ly. The pr.per.ies of the pur. a.d impr.gna.ed PSa. wer. a.a.yzed by BET, SEM a.d EDX. These investiga.ions indica.ed tha. PSa. impr.gna.ed with meta. ca.a.yst is the deter.ining fa.tor.in the a.sor.tion of SO{in{itx}} a.d NO{in{itx}} simulta.eously.
