Sma.l high-qua.ity a./n type-Ga.s Schottky ba.rier diodes （SBDs） with low reverse lea.a.e current a.e produced using lithogra.hy. Their effective ba.rier heights （BHs） a.d idea.ity fa.tors from current-volta.e （I-V） cha.a.teristics a.e mea.ured by a.Pico a.pere meter a.d home-built I-V instrument. In spite of the identica. prepa.a.ion of the diodes there is a.diode-to-diode va.ia.ion in idea.ity fa.tor a.d ba.rier height pa.a.eters. Mea.urement of topology of a.surfa.e of a.thin meta. film with a.omic force microscope （a.M） shows tha. a.-n type-Ga.S SD consists of a.set of pa.a.lel-connected micro a.d na.oconta.ts diodes with sizes a.proxima.ely in a.ra.ge of 100-200 nm. Between ba.rier height a.d idea.ity fa.tor there is a. inversely proportiona. dependency. With the dia.eter of conta.t increa.ing from 5 μm up to 200 μm, the ba.rier height increa.es from 0.833 up to 0.933 eV a.d its idea.ity fa.tor decrea.es from 1.11 down to 1.006. These dependencies show the reduction of the contribution of the periphera. current with the dia.eter of conta.t increa.ing. We find the effect of series resista.ce on ba.rier height a.d idea.ity fa.tor.

Modified cla./polyethersulfone（PES） mixed ma.rix membra.es（MMMs） were prepa.ed by a.id a.tiva.ed montmorillonite（a.-MMT） with different concentra.ions a.d used to elimina.e dyes a.d remove hea.y meta.s from a.ueous solution. The morphology a.d physiochemica. properties of prepa.ed cla. na.opa.ticles a.d MMMs were cha.a.terized using X-ra. diffra.tion（XRD）, Fourier tra.sform infra.ed（FTIR） spectroscopy, sca.ning electron microscopy（SEM）, enegy dispersive X-ra.（EDX） spectroscopy, Bruna.er-Emmett-Teller（BET） a.a.ysis, a.omic force microscopy（a.M）, conta.t a.gle mea.urement a.d fouling studies. The filtra.ion study showed tha. remova. of dyes a.d hea.y meta.s wa. strongly dependent on p H so tha. dyes with positive a.d nega.ive cha.ges showed different sepa.a.ion efficiency in a.idic a.d a.ka.ine conditions. The modified membra.es possessed better hea.y meta. remova. in a.idic a.d a.ka.ine p Hs. When the rejection of hea.y meta.s wa. mea.ured in a. a.ka.ine environment, it wa. observed tha. the rejection ha. a.grea. increa.e compa.ed to the neutra. va.ues for Zn^（2＋） a.d Ni^（2＋） ions, while rejection of Cu^（2＋） a.d Cd^（2＋） did not undergo significa.t cha.ges. So it ca. be concluded tha. modified membra.es show good selectivity for elimina.ion of Zn^（2＋） a.d Ni^（2＋） ions with respect to other ca.ions.

Objective: To a.sess the effica.y of a.curcumin supplementa.ion on cognitive a.ilities in women suffering from premenstrua. syndrome(PMS) a.d dysmenorrhea. Methods: a.ra.domized, triple-blind, pla.ebocontrolled tria. wa. conducted from December 2019 to Ma.ch 2020. a.tota. of 124 women who ha. both PMS a.d dysmenorrhea.were enrolled, a.d were equa.ly a.d ra.domly a.signed to the curcumin group or pla.ebo group, 62 ca.es in ea.h. Ea.h subject received either a.ca.sule conta.ning 500 mg of curcuminoid, or a.pla.ebo da.ly, for 10 da.s(7 da.s before a.d until 3 da.s a.ter the onset of menstrua. bleeding) over 3 menstrua. cycles. The cognitive a.ilities questionna.re wa. used to mea.ures cognitive functions in 7 specific a.ea.. a.verse rea.tions were monitored during a.d a.ter the tria. in both groups. Results: a.ministra.ion of curcumin wa. a.socia.ed with a.significa.t increa.e in memory score(P=0.002), inhibitory control a.d selective a.tention(P=0.020), a.d tota. cognitive a.ility ta.k(P=0.024). In a.dition, significa.t increments were found in scores of memory(3.5±3.1 vs. 0.4±3.8 in the curcumin a.d pla.ebo groups, respectively;P=0.035), inhibitory control a.d selective a.tention(3.0±3.7 vs. 0.4±3.7;P=0.027) a.d tota. cognitive a.ilities(8.3±12.3 vs. 2.2±12.4;P=0.025) in the curcumin group versus pla.ebo groups. One of the most successful techniques in pla.ting trees is tree improvement in which trees with high qua.ities a.e selected for ma.s pla.ta.ion. This study seeks to identify good properties of Euca.yptus ca.a.dulensis through selective pha.es. Sixty Euca.yptus ca.a.dulensis trees (30 ten-yea.-old a.d 30 five-yea.-old) were ra.domly selected through stra.ified sa.pling from two pla.ta.ion sites in Kurdista. region, North of Ira.. The trees were exa.ined for fiber morphology a.d qua.ity pa.a.eters such a. height, number of bra.ches, dia.eter a.d stra.ghtness. In the first pha.e of property selection, sixteen trees with high ra.k in growth properties a.d fiber morphology were selected. In the fina. pha.e of selection, the selected trees were re-exa.ined a.cording to the number of properties a.d fiber morphology fea.ures a.d seven trees with the highest number of good pa.a.eters were chosen. The 7 selected trees ha. higher qua.ities in growth cha.a.teristics a.d fiber morphology compa.ed with the other trees in the sa.ple. This a.ticle reports on a.selection method for E. ca.a.dulensis trees through tree improvement techniques. The results of the study indica.es tha. high genotype qua.ities were identified a.ong both 5- a.d 10-yea.-old E. ca.a.dulensis trees a. the fina. selection consisted of three 5-yea.-old trees a.d four 10-yea.-old trees.
