The objective of this study is to better conceptua.ize how women emotiona.ly respond to emotiona. a.vertisements （Ea.）. This empirica. study exa.ines women＇s emotiona. response using da.a.from 240 Chinese women respondents. The study pa.ticipa.ts were invited to develop a.E mix ba.ed a.vertisements a.d fill out questionna.res. PLS-SEM a.a.ysis, a.novel a.proa.h in a.E a.vertisement development a.d its a.plica.ility to consumer beha.ior, wa. used. The results show tha. showbiz celebrities expressing the emotion of ha.piness with music a.d color ma.e the most effective a.E mix to influence the consumption beha.ior of women. The results a.e significa.tly media.ed by a.tention levels a.d a.e widely a.plica.le in the burgeoning a.vertising industry. Benefit-cost a.a.ysis of ra.sing Pinus wa.lichia.a.seedlings in different ca.a.ities/sizes of root tra.ners in the nursery

Modern nursery methods of seedling production in different sized root tra.ners, were compa.ed by ra.sing seedlings of Pinus wa.lichia.a.involving costs incurred a.d benefits received. In order to provide a.common ba.is for the compa.isons, the study involved the ra.sing of 1000 seedlings a.nua.ly on a.continuous ba.is for seven yea.s. a.rela.ive economic a.a.ysis of ra.sing P. wa.lichia.a.seedlings in 300, 150 a.d 100 cm^3 root tra.ners wa. ca.ried out a.d we estima.ed tha. the root tra.ners of 300 cm^3 ca.a.ity recorded the highest tota. input cost of Rs. 35571 a.d Rs. 40018 for 1000 seedlings produced a.nua.ly a. discount ra.es of 12% a.d 6%. Seedlings ra.sed in 100 cm^3 root tra.ners recorded the lowest tota. input cost of Rs. 23390 a.d Rs. 27737 per 1000 seedlings a.nua.ly a. discount ra.es of 12% a.d 6%. Hence, returns per rupee invested in ra.sing seedlings in the 100 cm^3 root tra.ners a.counted for the ma.imum benefit-cost ra.io （i.e., 1.56 a.d 1.61） a. discount ra.es of 12% a.d 6%. Thus seedlings ra.sed in 100 cm^3 a.d 150 cm^3 root tra.ners were found to be most cost effective when compa.ed with seedlings grown in 300 cm^3 root tra.ners. The results ca. be a.tributed to the la.ger number of cells per tra. （higher growth density） in the 100 a.d 150 cm^3 root tra.ners, compa.ed to the number of seedlings in the 300 cm^3 root tra.ners.

Our study on ma.urity indices of a.sculus indica.Colebr. seeds wa. conducted under tempera.e Ka.hmir conditions in 2006. Seed collection wa. sta.ted from 15 July a.d continued until the ma.ura.ion of seeds in December. The seeds were ha.vested fortnightly from identified trees a.d on ea.h collection da.e ma.urity indices, viz. seed color, seed weight, moisture content, seed dimension, specific gra.ity a.d germina.ion percenta.e were recorded. The study revea.ed tha. a. the time of ma.urity （Nov.-Dec.） the seed color wa. a.shiny chocola.e brown, with a.moisture content of 58.37% a.d a.specific gra.ity of 0.82. Germina.ion wa. ma.imum （80%） a. its ma.urity with a.ma.imum seed weight of 52.03 g per seed. We recommend tha. the seeds should be collected before their na.ura. disposa..
