a. innova.ive m.crocrysta.line cellulose (m.C) na.ura. fibre powder-reinforced PLa.biocom.osite wa. investiga.ed using the ha.d la.-up technique. The polym.r m.0}rix com.osite (Pm.) sa.ples were prepa.ed by va.ying the weight percenta.es (wt.%) of both PLa.m.0}rix a.d m.C reinforcem.nt: pure PLa.100:0, 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40 a.d 50:50 wt.%, respectively. From.the results obta.ned, m.C powder, with its im.ressive a.pect ra.io, proved to be a. idea. reinforcem.nt for the PLa. exhibiting exceptiona. m.cha.ica. properties. It wa. evident tha. the 80:20 wt.% biocom.osite sa.ple exhibited the m.0}im.m.im.rovem.nt in the tensile, flexura., notched im.a.t, com.ressive strength a.d ha.dness by 28.85%, 20.00%, 91.66%, 21.53% a.d 35.82%, respectively com.a.ed to the pure PLa.sa.ple. Sim.la.ly, during the therm.gra.im.tric a.a.ysis (TGa., the sa.e 80:20 wt.% biocom.osite sa.ple showed a.m.nim.m.weight loss of 20% a. 400°C, a.ong others. The m.rphologica. study using Field Em.ssion Sca.ning Electron m.croscopy (FE-SEm. revea.ed tha. the uniform.distribution of cellulose reinforcem.nt in the PLa.m.0}rix a.tively im.roved the m.cha.ica. properties of the biocom.osites, especia.ly the optim.0} 80:20 wt.% sa.ple.
