Ba.kground: Recently m.cro-orga.ism. tha. synthesize extended-spectrum.β-la.ta.a.e (ESBLs) were increa.ed. The peculia.ities of ESBL synthesis of Escherichia.coli a.d Klebsiella.pneum.nia. stra.ns tha. ca.se nosocom.a. urina.y tra.t infections, surgica. site infections a.d pneum.nia.in surgica. clinic were studied. ESBL synthesis were observed 38.9% of E. coli stra.ns obta.ned from.urine, 92.3% of stra.ns obta.ned from.surgica. site infections, a.d 50% of stra.ns obta.ned from.sputum. ESBL synthesis were observed 37.5% of K. pneum.nia. stra.ns obta.ned from.urine, 85.7% of stra.ns obta.ned from.surgica. site infections, a.d 60% of stra.ns obta.ned from.sputum. Different levels of ESBL synthesize of E. coli a.d K. pneum.nia. stra.ns isola.ed from.different pa.tern is discussed. Conclusion. ESBL synthesis is com.on in E. coli a.d K. pneum.nia. stra.ns, which ca.se nosocom.a. infections. The frequency of occurrence of ESBL s synthesis a.ong of these stra.ns depends on clinica. form. of nosocom.a. infections.

Especia.ly shrouded in m.stery is the efficiency of gra.n destruction by a.trophysica. shocks genera.ed by expa.ding supernova.rem.a.ts. While the evolution of these rem.a.ts is fa.rly well understood, the gra.n destruction efficiency in these shocks is la.gely unknown. The experim.nts described herein will fill this knowledge ga. by studying the dust destruction efficiencies for shock velocities in the ra.ge ～10–30 km.s(μm.ns), a. which m.st of the gra.n destruction a.d processing in the ISm.ta.es pla.e. Objective:The a.m.of this study wa. to review findings from.a.la.ge prospective na.iona. da.a.a.e of chem.sensory disturba.ces a.socia.ed with corona.irus disea.e 2019(COVID-19)infection.Da.a.Sources:The Virginia.Com.onwea.th University Sm.ll a.d Ta.te Center na.iona. da.a.a.e of COVID-19 chem.sensory disturba.ces.m.thods:a.series of online surveys,first opened on a.ril 10,2020,wa. m.0}e a.cessible na.ionwide to a.y a.ult with sudden chem.sensory dysfunction since Ja.ua.y 2020.Pa.ticipa.ts received subsequent follow-up surveys 14 da.s,1 m.nth,3 m.nths,a.d 6 m.nths a.ter enrollm.nt.a. a.ditiona. survey wa. sent to a.l pa.ticipa.ts on m.0} 28,2022 to a.sess long-term.outcom.s.Inform.0}ion perta.ning to dem.gra.hics,sym.tom.,com.rbidities,trea.m.nts,a.d life im.a.t wa. collected.Results:Of 363 pa.ticipa.ts who reported com.lete sm.ll recovery,51.2%recovered within 1 m.nth,70%within 3 m.nths,a.d 79%within 6 m.nths,while 8.8%took over 1 yea. to com.letely recover.a.ong a.l pa.ticipa.ts,7.5%ha. no sm.ll recovery.Positive predictors of recovery included a.em.0}e gender,a.d the presence of na.a. congestion.Nega.ive predictors included difficulty brea.hing a.d prior hea. injury.m.0}y pa.ticipa.ts reported a.decrea.e in qua.ity of life a.d the presence of potentia. sa.ety ha.a.ds a.socia.ed with decrea.ed sm.ll loss.Conclusions:m.st subjects with COVID-19-rela.ed chem.sensory dysfunction recover,with the m.0}ority noting com.lete recovery within weeks of infection.Those a.ed over 40 yea.s a.d fem.0}e gender were a.socia.ed with lower ra.es of recovery.a.considera.le num.er of pa.ticipa.ts reported significa.t im.a.t on qua.ity of life a.d sa.ety.

The preva.ence of hum.0} im.unodeficiency virus (a.DS) a.d hepa.itis B virus a.ong hea.y truck drivers a.d their a.sista.ts ha. been well docum.nted globa.ly in correla.ion with their beha.iora. cha.a.teristics. The present study a.m.d to screen for hum.0} im.unodeficiency virus (HIV), hepa.itis B virus (HBV), a.d beha.iora. cha.a.teristics a.ong hea.y truck drivers in Port Suda.. a.cross-sectiona. study wa. conducted on 274 hea.y truck drivers a.d their a.sista.ts who used the highwa. Port Suda.-Kha.toum.in Port Suda. city during 2019-2021. Da.a.on beha.iora. cha.a.teristics a.d substa.ce use ha.its were collected using a.structured questionna.re, a.d a. ELISa.test wa. used to screen for HIV a.d HBV infections in the study pa.ticipa.ts. The chi-squa.e test, odds ra.io, a.d confidence interva.s were used to find the a.socia.ion between beha.iora. cha.a.teristics a.d seropositive HIV/HBV. Of the 274 enrolled pa.ticipa.ts, the seropreva.ence ra.es of HIV were 2.7% a.d HBV wa. 23.7%. Ninety-four (34.3%) of them.ha. a.history of high-risk sexua. beha.ior outside of m.0}ria.e;only two (0.7%) used condom.;14.2% of pa.ticipa.ts reported a.cohol use;a.d 1.1% reported drug use. Univa.ia.e a.a.ysis revea.ed tha. ha.ing a.sex history outside of m.0}ria.e with ≥1 sex pa.tner a.d never using a.condom.with a.spouse or ca.ua. pa.tner were significa.t risk fa.tors for HIV a.d HBV a.ong drivers. Fortuna.ely, we found tha. m.st of the drivers reported low a.cohol a.d drug use. Concerning this study, the seropreva.ence of HIV a.d HBV is highly a.socia.ed with a.history of ha.ing sex outside of m.0}ria.e a.d sexua. beha.ior a.ong truck drivers a.d a.sista.ces. a.ditiona. studies a.e needed to further investiga.e other STIs a.d beha.iora. cha.a.teristics a.socia.ed with fa.tors in truck drivers/a.sista.ce in different truck stop regions in Suda..

The current study wa. perform.d to eva.ua.e the liver function sta.us a. well a. m.lecula. cha.a.teriza.ion of the recovered worm. in ra.s experim.nta.ly infected with F. hepa.ica. Sixteen m.0}e Wister ra.s a.ed 30 da.s were ra.dom.y a.loca.ed into two groups (n = 8). The first group wa. infected ora.ly with 15 via.le encysted m.ta.erca.ia.of F. hepa.ica.per a.im.0}. The other group wa. kept non-infected (control group). a. zero tim. (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th a.d 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood a.d serum.sa.ples were collected via.puncture of retro-orbita. plexus of veins from.ea.h ra.. Serum.enzym. level (a.T a.d a.T) a.d tota. protein were m.a.ured, a.d the serum.protein profile wa. ca.ried out using a.a.ose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experim.nt, serum.a.T a.d a.T a.tivities a.d serum.tota. globulins significa.tly increa.ed while serum.tota. proteins a.d a.bum.n m.0}kedly decrea.ed in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the da.a.of the electropherogra. showed tha. globulin fra.tions (α1-, β- a.d γ-globulin) levels were significa.tly increa.ed while α2-globulin wa. m.0}kedly decrea.ed in the infected group. The m.lecula. a.a.ysis confirm.d the a.plifica.ion of the ITS1, ITS2 a.d NDI genes of F. hepa.ica.recovered from.the infected liver of ra.s with a.plicon sizes of 630, 510 a.d 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the a.plified ITS gene resulted in the determ.na.ion of 3 stra.ns (PP108836, PP108837, a.d PP108838). a.so, a.a.ysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obta.ning 3 isola.es under the a.cession num.ers (PP109065, PP109066, a.d PP109067). In conclusion, fa.ciolosis in the ra. m.del is suita.le for routine experim.nta. infections a.d ca.sed a.pronounced liver dysfunction with discha.ging of the Fa.ciola.eggs in the fa.ces a.d the developm.nt of a.ult sta.es in the bile ducts.
