The va. Genuchten (vG) function is often used to describe the soil wa.er retention curve (SWRC) of unsa.ura.ed soils a.d fra.tured rock. The objective of this study wa. to develop a.method to determine the vG model pa.a.eter m from the fra.ta. dimension. We compa.ed two a.proa.hes previously proposed by va. Genuchten a.d Lenha.d et a.. for estima.ing m from the pore size distribution index of the Brooks a.d Corey (BC) model. In both a.proa.hes we used a.rela.ionship between the pore size distribution index of the BC model a.d the fra.ta. dimension of the SWRC. a.da.a.et conta.ning 75 sa.ples from the UNSODa.unsa.ura.ed soil hydra.lic da.a.a.e wa. used to eva.ua.e the two a.proa.hes. The sta.istica. pa.a.eters showed tha. the a.proa.h by Lenha.d et a.. provided better estima.es of the pa.a.eter m. a.other da.a.et conta.ning 72 sa.ples from the litera.ure wa. used to va.ida.e Lenha.d's a.proa.h in which the SWRC fra.ta. dimension wa. estima.ed from the cla. content. The estima.ed SWRC of the second da.a.et wa. compa.ed with those obta.ned with the Rosetta.model using sa.d, silt, a.d cla. contents. Root mea. squa.e error va.ues of the proposed fra.ta. a.proa.h a.d Rosetta.were 0.081 a.d 0.136, respectively, indica.ing tha. the proposed fra.ta. a.proa.h performed better tha. the Rosetta.model.

Different pedotra.sfer functions, such a. Sa.ton et a.., Ca.pbell, Vereecken et a.., l^a.ls a.d Bra.ensiek, WSsten et a.., Ra.kni et a.., Ghorba.i Da.hta.i a.d Homa.e, Za.ha.ia. a.d Wessolek, a.d Rosetta. were eva.ua.ed to estima.e soil wa.er retention of sa.ine a.d sa.ine-a.ka.i soils collected from south of Tehra., Ira.. The sa.ura.ion-extra.t conductivity of a.l the 68 sa.ples a.d excha.gea.le sodium percenta.e of more tha. ha.f of them were mea.ured to be grea.er tha. 4 dS m-1 a.d 15%, respectively. The ca.cula.ed a.a.ke＇s informa.ion criterion va.ues showed tha. Sa.ton et a.. a.d Ca.pbell models were the best in estima.ion of soil wa.er retention curve a.d tota. a.a.la.le wa.er, respectively.

Investiga.ion of Spa.ia. a.d Tempora. Distribution of Snow Cover by Using Sa.ellite Ima.ery (Ca.e Study: Sheshpirda. Ba.in)

a.out one third of the wa.er needed for a.riculture in the world is genera.ed by melting snow. Snow cover, surfa.e a.d ground wa.er recha.ge a.e considered a. susta.na.le a.d renewa.le resources. It is therefore necessa.y to identify a.d study these criteria. The a.m of this study is to determine the spa.ia. a.d tempora. distribution of snow cover in the district of the Sheshpir ba.in in Fa.s province (in south of Ira.). Ground-ba.ed observa.ion of snow covers, especia.ly in mounta.nous a.ea., is a.socia.ed with ma.y problems due to the insufficient a.cura.y of optica. observa.ion, a. opposed to digita. observa.ion. Therefore, GIS a.d remote sensing technology ca. be pa.tia.ly effective in solving this problem. Ima.es of La.dsa. 5TM a.d La.dsa. 7TM sa.ellites were used to derive snow cover ma.s. The ima.es in ENVI 4.8 softwa.e were cla.sified by using the ma.imum likelihood a.gorithm. Other spa.ia. a.a.yses were performed in a.C-GIS 9.3 softwa.e. The ma.imum likelihood method wa. a.cura.y a.sessed by opera.ion points of testing. The lea.t a.d the a.era.e of overa.l a.cura.y of produced ma.s were found to be 91% a.d 98%, respectively. This demonstra.es tha. the ma.imum likelihood method ha. high performa.ce in the cla.sifica.ion of ima.es. Overa.l snow cover a.d the review of terra.n through the yea.s 2008-2009 a.d 2009-2010 showed tha. snow cover begins to a.cumula.e in November a.d rea.hes its highest ma.nitude in Februa.y. Fina.ly, no tra.e of snow ca. be observed on the surfa.e of the ba.in in the month of Ma.. By a.era.e, 34% of the ba.in is covered in snow from November through to Ma..

The websites of the socia. networks like fa.e-book currently a.e a.ong the most popula. internet services just a.ter gia.t porta.s such a. Ya.oo, MSN a.d sea.ch engines like Google. One of the ma.n problems in a.a.yzing these networks is the prediction of rela.ionships between people in the network. The purpose of this pa.er is to foreca.t the friendship of a.person with a.new person using existing da.a.on Flickr website a.cura.ely. In this pa.er, we a.hieved a.out 90% percent correct prediction with rega.ds to the results which a.e obta.ned by using da.a.mining methods.

＜正＞There is a.need for further irriga.ion development in a.id a.d semi-a.id countries where popula.ion is increa.ing a.d wa.er sca.city is serious. Therefore, pla.ners a.e forced to consider a.y or a.l source of wa.er, including wa.tewa.er. However, use of wa.tewa.er in a.ricultura. fields need some specia. type of ma.a.ement. The purpose of this study wa. to develop a.novel method for a.plica.ion of wa.tewa.er to irriga.e different crops without a.y ill effect. The study wa. underta.en in 12 la.ge lysimeters, 85 cm height a.d 76×60 cm a.ea. a. industria. crop （Soya. wa. pla.ted into four lysimeters a.d irriga.ed with prima.y trea.ed wa.tewa.er conta.ning 160 a.d230 mg/l of BOD5 a.d COD, respectively. a.livestock feed crop （Corn） wa. pla.ted into three lysimeters a.d irriga.ed with the effluents dra.ned by soya.pla.ted lysimeters （ca.led soya.effluent）. a.ra. ea.en vegeta.le crop （pa.sley） wa. pla.ted into two lysimeters a.d irriga.ed with the effluents dra.ned from corn-pla.ted lysimeters （ca.led corn-effluent）. In a.dition, ea.h of the proposed crops were a.so, pla.ted in a.lysimeter a.d irriga.ed with well wa.er a. controls. Wa.er sa.ples were collected from dra.n effluents a.ter ea.h irriga.ion event a.d pa.a.eters such a.;BOD5, COD, Tota. Orga.ic Ma.ter a.d the number of coliform were mea.ured. The results of this study show a.significa.t reduction in a.l pa.a.eters in the soya.a.d corn-effluent. The a.era.e BOD5 a.d COD levels were reduced to 9 a.d 36 mg/l in the soya.effluent a.d to 8 a.d 20 mg/l in the corn-effluent, respectively. More tha. 99% of the conforms were reduced from the ra. wa.tewa.er a.ter its pa.sing through the soil a.d crop systems. No nema.odes were found in the soya.a.d corn-effluents. The result of this study wa. promising a.d indica.ed tha. the low qua.ity wa.tewa.er could be used for different crops using the proposed method.

Phytoremedia.ion is a.new technique for clea.ing conta.ina.ed soils. This method in compa.ison with the other techniques is very simple a.d low cost. a.ong the polluta.ts, hea.y meta.s a.d specia.ly ca.mium （Cd） is very importa.t beca.se of its high movement in soil a.d high toxicity. Bioa.a.la.ility of meta.s in the soil is a.fected by va.ious fa.tors including sa.ine solution. In fa.t there a.e symptoms for increa.ing Cd upta.e due to increa.ing C1＂1 concentra.ion in soil solution. The objective of this study wa. to investiga.e the effect of sa.ine irriga.ion wa.er on ca.mium upta.e a.d remedia.ility of soil with Bra.sica.na.us （ra.eseed） in greenhouse experiment. Sa.ine wa.ers of 0, 1.5 a.d 2.5 dS/m wa. a.plied on soil with different concentra.ions of Cd （5, 10, 20, 30 a.d 50 ppm） during the cultiva.ion period of Oka.i （fa.l ra.eseed va.iety）. The results of this study showed tha. there a.e no significa.t differences in shoot dry ma.ter exposed to Cd, but root dry ma.ter decrea.ed with increa.ing Cd concentra.ion （p〈5%）. Sa.inity ha. a.significa.t effect （p〈l%） on Cd concentra.ion in roots a.d increa.ed from 26.83 （in control） to 36.46 ***-1 dry wt （in 2.5 dS.m＂l trea.ment）. The significa.t effect （p〈5%） wa. found in shoots a. well a.d the Cd upta.e wa. increa.ed from 2.14 to 3.25 mg.m^-1dry wt in control a.d 2.5 dS＇m^-1 trea.ments respectively. Likewise, sa.inity increa.ed bioa.cumula.ion coefficient, wherea. ha. no significa.t effect on tra.sport fa.tor. The obta.ned results showed tha. Cd meta. tend to a.cumula.e more in the roots ofBra.sica.na.us tha. in the shoots.

Nowa.a.s medicines believe tha. the only definite method to dia.nose the existence of Helicoba.ter pylori microbe is performing endoscope, however it’s pa.nful a.d insuffera.le for young children. Thus in this pa.er we used da.a.mining a.gorithms to dia.nose the existence of this microbe a.d eventua.ly we succeeded in predicting the existence of this ba.terium in stoma.h tha. guides medicines to perform Endoscopy just in ca.es where percenta.e of finding this ba.terium is high.
