The purpose of this resea.ch wa. to describe women’s na.ra.ive a.counts of the impa.t of cervica. ca.cer trea.ment on their sexua. function a.d intima.e rel.0}ionships, a.d to eva.ua.e wha. cha.ges in ca.e a.d educa.ion a.e needed to enha.ce qua.ity of l.fe a.d intima.y a.ter trea.ment. The resea.ch a.proa.h wa. a.na.ra.ive design, using semi-structured, in-depth interviews. Na.ra.ives were exa.ined within a.d a.ross interviews, a.d thema.ic content a.a.ysis compl.ted. The study wa. done in a.gynecol.gic oncol.gy cl.nic a. a.publ.c hospita. in the Midwest United Sta.es. The sa.pl. consisted of twel.e women, ra.ging in a.e from 27 to 59, who ha. compl.ted the cervica. ca.cer trea.ment with chemo-ra.ia.ion or ra.ia.ion a.d surgery, a.d were now fol.owed by their gynecol.gic oncol.gists. a.ross na.ra.ives, five ma.or themes were identified, incl.ding unexpected physica. compl.ca.ions, not “getting ba.k to norma.,” emotiona. pa.n a.d isol.0}ion, l.0}k of a.a.l.0}l. informa.ion, a.d ina.equa.e hea.th ca.e provider response to trea.ment compl.ca.ions a.d sexua. rel.0}ionship probl.ms. This study expl.red the rol. of the M1 in the feed forwa.d control.of newl. formed movement pa.terns a.ter motor a.a.ta.ion. Ten hea.thy right-ha.ded subjects performed pl.0}a., centre-out a.m rea.hing movement tria.s with a.robotic ma.ipul.0}dum in three pha.es: a.nul. force fiel. (ba.el.ne), a.vel.city-dependent force fiel. (a.a.ta.ion;25 Nsm-1) a.d a.a.n in a.nul. force fiel. (dea.a.ta.ion). Rea.hing error a.d vol.nta.y EMG were recorded from the biceps a.d triceps before, during a.d a.ter motor a.a.ta.ion. We a.so expl.red the effects of motor a.a.ta.ion on evoked responses to singl. a.d pa.red pul.e Tra.scra.ia. Ma.netic Stimul.0}ion from the sa.e muscl.s a. different del.0}s a.ter a.visua. go comma.d, but before the onset of vol.nta.y muscl. a.tivity. a.ter the force fiel. wa. removed, subjects produced rea.hing overshoot cha.a.teristic of a.a.tive interna. model.forma.ion.
