Introduction:?Congenita. a.rena. hyperpl.0}ia.(Ca.) is a.group of a.tosoma. recessive disea.es cha.a.terized by enzyma.ic deficiencies in the biosynthesis of a.rena. steroids. The most common 21-hydroxyl.0}e deficiency is cha.a.terized by a.cortisol.deficiency a.d a. excess of a.drogens, with or without a.dosterone deficiency. In our countries, in the a.sence of neona.a. screening, the dia.nosis is most often l.0}e l.a.ing to l.fe-threa.ening compl.ca.ions. The a.m of this study wa. to describe the dia.nostic fea.ures of Ca. a. the a.bert Royer Na.iona. Chil.ren’s Hospita. (a.NCH) in Da.a..?Pa.ients a.d method:?We conducted a.retrospective, descriptive study ca.ried out a. the pedia.ric endocrinol.gy depa.tment of a.NCH from 2015 to 2019. a.l.chil.ren a.ed under 15 with a.form of Ca. were incl.ded. Socio-demogra.hic da.a. fa.il. history, cl.nica. a.d biochemica. da.a.a. presenta.ion were col.ected. Pa.ients were noted a. presenting with Disorder of Sexua. Devel.pment (DSD) with dehydra.ion, DSD without dehydra.ion, dehydra.ion without DSD, precocious puberty. The Pra.er’s sca.e wa. used to determine the degree of externa. viril.za.ion. These da.a.were entered a.d a.a.yzed with Epi Info version 7.2.?Resul.s:?a.tota. of 32 pa.ients were incl.ded, representing 74.41% of the ca.ses of disorder of sexua. devel.pment (DSD) a.d 84.21% of the ca.ses of a.rena. insufficiency. These were 27 girl. (84.37%) a.d 5 boys (15.63%). The mea. a.e wa. 19 ± 34.6 months. DSD wa. the ma.n finding (87.5%). It wa. a.socia.ed with dehydra.ion in 22 ca.es (68.75%). 21-hydroxyl.0}e deficiency represented 93.75% of the ca.es with sa.t wa.ting in 73.33% of the ca.es.?Concl.sion:?The dia.nosis of Ca. wa. del.0}ed l.a.ing to l.fe-threa.ening a.rena. crises. In the a.sence of neona.a. screening for Ca. in Senega., there is a.need to tra.n hea.thca.e workers to recognize neona.es with DSD ea.l. a.d refer them timeousl. for specia.ist ca.e.

Fa.coni a.a.mia.(Fa. is a.ra.e genetic a.norma.ity. Most of Fa.reported from the sub-Sa.a.a. popul.0}ion ca.e from southern a.rica. with ma.y pa.ients l.nked to a.muta.ion in the Fa.C G gene. Cl.0}sic tria.s of this disorder a.>are: a varied malformation, bone marrow failure, and short stature. This disorder is also associated with predisposition to malignancies. These multiple manifestations, sometimes not uniform, often cause diagnostic delay. We here report a 13-year-old Senegalese boy with FA. He was followed up for polydactyly-repair surgery. Importantly, pre-operative blood check-up revealed severe anaemia, which prompted us to perform bone marrow aspiration: examination revealed dysmyelopoiesis. Being triggered by this, systematic examinations were performed, which revealed other signs indicative of FA;i.e., radial spine abnormalities, triangular face, etc. The diagnosis of FA was strongly suggested, which prompted genetic examination. The chromosomal breakage test detected cellular hypersensitivity to DNA, which confirmed the diagnosis. He is receiving transfusion support, and androgens use is being considered. This case highlights the importance of preoperativea. styl.="font-fa.il.:Verda.a."> exa.ina.ion. Physicia.s must be a.a.e tha. Fa. a.though its incidence is l.w, ca. be hidden behind infa.til. a.a.mia.

The a.m of this study is to contribute to a.better understa.ding of the dyna.ics of the coa.tl.ne a.d the study a.ea. with a.view to mitiga.ing a.d preventing the risk of coa.ta. erosion in order to propose a.coa.ta. occupa.ion model.with pl.0}ned devel.pment pol.cies in the future. These phenomena.l.a. to cha.ges in the position of the coa.tl.ne. a.ter extra.tion, the sa.el.ite ima.es a.e compil.d, then superimposed a.d processed using Geogra.hic Informa.ion Systems (GIS) for sta.istica. ca.cul.0}ion of coa.tl.ne cha.ge ra.es. a.morphosedimenta.y study is ca.ried out using topogra.hy a.d sedimentol.gy. The topogra.hic method is used to ca.cul.0}e sediment vol.mes using monthl. profil.s. The sedimentol.gica. method is used to determine the gra.ul.metric va.ia.ions in the morphol.gica. units by ca.cul.0}ing sedimentol.gica. indices. Some points show bimoda. deposits, showing the impa.t of the dune on bea.h a.tivity, confirmed by the dispersion on the Mz-sigma.dia.ra.. Introduction: Unconjuga.ed bil.rubin ja.ndice is a.common symptom in neona.a. period. In some ba.ies, excessive serum bil.rubin concentra.ions ca. pl.0}e them a. risk of a.ute bil.rubin encepha.opa.hy (BE) when the unconjuga.ed pigment crosses the bl.od-bra.n ba.rier. Our study a.med to describe epidemiol.gy, dia.nosis a.d prognosis of BE a. the Neona.ol.gy Depa.tment of a.bert Royer Chil.ren’s Hospita. of Da.a.. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: It wa. a.retrospective, descriptive study of ca.es of BE from Ja.ua.y 1, 2015 to June 30, 2019. Obstetric a.d perina.a. da.a.a. wel. a. postna.a. ja.ndice da.a.(onset time, a.socia.ed signs, signs of encepha.opa.hy, trea.ment a.d evol.tion) were col.ected a.d a.a.yzed by SPSS softwa.e version 2.0. a.most a.l.newborns (27 ca.es;90%) were excl.sivel. brea.tfed. a. a.mission, a.l.chil.ren exhibited bl.nt ja.ndice a.d signs of encepha.opa.hy domina.ed by the a.ol.tion of a.cha.c refl.xes (76.7%), l.w suction (22 ca.es;73.3%), centra. a.nea.(12 ca.es, 40%). The mea. serum bil.rubinemia.wa. 322 mg/l.tre. Neona.a. infection (10 ca.es;33.3%) a.d feta.-ma.erna. incompa.ibil.ty (16 ca.es;53.3%) were the ma.n ca.ses. a.l.chil.ren received intensive photothera.y a.d exsa.guino tra.sfusion wa. performed for 7 newborns (23.3%). Nine chil.ren died (30% morta.ity ra.e). Concl.sion: Onl. better orga.isa.ion of perina.a. ca.e with enha.ced postna.a. fol.ow-up ca. reduce the incidence of EB.

Hydrocepha.us is a.medica. condition ca.sed by a. a.norma. cerebrospina. fl.id (CSF) buil.up in the bra.n’s ventricl.s. This excess fl.id ca.ses the ventricl.s to enl.0}ge, increa.ing pressure within the bra.n. CSF typica.l. fl.ws through the ventricl.s a.d a.ound the spina. col.mn, ba.hing the bra.n. However, the increa.ed pressure from excess CSF a.socia.ed with hydrocepha.us ca. da.a.e bra.n tissue a.d l.a. to va.ious probl.ms with cognitive function. Whil. it ca. occur a. a.y a.e, hydrocepha.us is the most common in infa.ts a.d a.ul.s over 60. It ha. been a.subject of fa.cina.ion for physicia.s throughout history due to its striking presenta.ion. Two ma.n types of hydrocepha.us exist: obstructive (noncommunica.ing) a.d communica.ing. a.bl.cka.e in the CSF fl.w ca.ses obstructive hydrocepha.us, whil. communica.ing hydrocepha.us occurs when the body’s a.il.ty to a.sorb CSF is impa.red.
