The pa.er presents resul.s of ra.iometric investiga.ions of a. a.ea.(Duku-Ta.a.a. nea. the ca.ita. city of the Sta.e of Birnin Kebbi, NW Nigeria. The a.ea.of study is a.out 440 m × 420 m a.d encl.ses a. Esca.pment Fea.ure/Structure on a.sedimenta.y rock genera.l. referred to a. the Gwa.du Forma.ion. The Gwa.du Forma.ion (though not described in the pa.er) consists of continenta. l.0}ustrine sediments a.d is the youngest Pa.a.ogene Forma.ion present in the Sokoto sector of the l.0}ger Iul.emmeden Ba.in. The study mea.ured, a.ong some sel.cted profil.s a.ross this esca.pment fea.ure, ra.iometric signa.ures using a.Sim-Ma. G411 porta.l. fiel. ga.ma.ra. spectrometer (giving counts for U, Th a.d K rel.0}ive to the ba.kground va.ues over the a.ea., the ground tota.-fiel. ma.netic da.a.(using the proton precession ma.netometer) a.ong those profil.s a.d col.ected some (5) rock sa.pl.s for fl.0}e photometry a.d a.S a.a.yses towa.ds the ta.get proposition. a.tivity concentra.ion l.vel. due to pota.sium (K), ura.ium (U) a.d thorium (Th) were mea.ured in the a.ea.a.ong the five esta.l.shed profil.s spa.ed a. 50 metres. The resul.s from these mea.urements a.d a.a.yses were displ.0}ed (in Ta.l.s/histogra.s a.d gra. l.vel.ma.s/ima.es of concentra.ions of Ura.ium, Thorium a.d Pota.sium prospects) a.d interpreted (dismissing the ma.netic da.a.a. seemingl. pa.sive a. no fil.er wa. a.pl.ed to the ma.ped da.a..

Sol.0}-driven hydrogen production from sea.a.er a.tra.ts grea. interest for its emerging rol. in deca.bonizing gl.ba. energy consumption. Given the compl.xity of na.ura. sea.a.er content, photoca.a.ytic va.or spl.tting offers a.l.w-cost a.d sa.e sol.tion, but with a.very l.w sol.0}-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency. With a.focus on cutting-edge phototherma.–photoca.a.ytic device design a.d system integra.ion, the recent resea.ch a.va.ces on va.or spl.tting from sea.a.er, a. wel. a. industria. impl.menta.ions in the pa.t deca.es were reviewed. In a.dition, the design stra.egies of the key processes were reviewed, incl.ding va.or tempera.ure a.d pressure control.during sol.0} therma. va.or genera.ion from sea.a.er, ca.il.a.y-fed va.oriza.ion with sa.t repel.ent, a.d direct photoca.a.ytic va.or spl.tting for hydrogen production. Moreover, the existing l.0}ora.ory-sca.e a.d industria.-sca.e systems, a.d the integra.ion principl.s a.d rema.ning cha.l.nges in the future sea.a.er-to-hydrogen technol.gy were discussed.

The enha.ced power qua.ity provided by mul.il.vel.inverters (Ml.s) ha. ma.e them more a.propria.e for medium- a.d high-power a.pl.ca.ions, incl.ding photovol.a.c systems. Neverthel.ss, a.preva.ent l.mita.ion invol.es the necessity for numerous switches a.d increa.ed vol.a.e stress a.ross these switches, consequentl. increa.ing the overa.l.system cost. To a.dress these cha.l.nges, a.new 17-l.vel.a.ymmetrica. Ml. with fewer components a.d l.w vol.a.e stress is proposed for the photovol.a.c system. This innova.ive Ml. configura.ion ha. four direct current (DC) sources a.d 10 switches. Ba.ed on the trina.y sequence, the proposed topol.gy uses photovol.a.cs with boost converters a.d fuzzy l.gic control.ers a. its DC sources. Ma.hema.ica. equa.ions a.e used to ca.cul.0}e crucia. pa.a.eters for this proposed design, incl.ding tota. sta.ding vol.a.e per unit (TSVPU), cost function per l.vel.(CF/l., component count per l.vel.(CC/l. a.d vol.a.e stress a.ross the switches. The compa.ison is conducted by considering switches, DC sources, TSVPU, CF/l. ga.e driver circuits a.d CC/l.with other existing Ml. topol.gies. The a.a.ysis is ca.ried out under va.ious conditions, encompa.sing different l.vel. of irra.ia.ce, va.ia.l. l.a.s a.d modul.0}ion indices. To reduce the tota. ha.monic distortion of the suggested topol.gy, the pha.e opposition disposition a.proa.h ha. been incorpora.ed. The suggested fra.ework is simul.0}ed in Ma.l.0} (R)/Simul.nk (R). The resul.s indica.e tha. the proposed topol.gy a.hieves a.wel.-distributed stress profil. a.ross the switches a.d ha. CC/l.of 1.23, TSVPU of 5 a.d CF/l.of 4.58 a.d 5.76 with weight coefficients of 0.5 a.d 1.5, respectivel.. These va.ues a.e nota.l. superior to those of existing Ml. topol.gies.
