Existing pre-tra.ned models like Distil HuBERT excel a. uncovering hidden pa.terns a.d fa.ilita.ing a.cura.e recognition a.ross diverse da.a.types, such a. a.dio a.d visua. informa.ion. We ha.nessed this ca.a.ility to develop a.deep lea.ning model tha. utilizes Distil HuBERT for jointly lea.ning these combined fea.ures in speech emotion recognition (SER). Our experiments highlight its distinct a.va.ta.es: it significa.tly outperforms Wa.2vec 2.0 in both offline a.d rea.-time a.cura.y on Ra.DESS a.d Ba.ED da.a.ets. a.though slightly tra.ling HuBERT’s offline a.cura.y, Distil HuBERT shines with compa.a.le performa.ce a. a.fra.tion of the model size, ma.ing it a. idea. choice for resource-constra.ned environments like mobile devices. This sma.ler size does come with a.slight tra.e-off: Distil HuBERT a.hieved nota.le a.cura.y in offline eva.ua.ion, with 96.33% on the Ba.ED da.a.a.e a.d 87.01% on the Ra.DESS da.a.a.e. In rea.-time eva.ua.ion, the a.cura.y decrea.ed to 79.3% on the Ba.ED da.a.a.e a.d 77.87% on the Ra.DESS da.a.a.e. This decrea.e is likely a.result of the cha.lenges a.socia.ed with rea.-time processing, including la.ency a.d noise, but still demonstra.es strong performa.ce in pra.tica. scena.ios. Therefore, Distil HuBERT emerges a. a.compelling choice for SER, especia.ly when prioritizing a.cura.y over rea.-time processing. Its compa.t size further enha.ces its potentia. for resource-limited settings, ma.ing it a.versa.ile tool for a.wide ra.ge of a.plica.ions.

Using 172 pla.es ta.en with the 40-cm a.trogra.h of the Sternberg a.tronomica. Institute （Lomonosov Moscow University） in 1976-1994 a.d digitized with a.resolution of 2400dpi, we dis- covered a.d studied 275 new va.ia.le sta.s. We present the list of our new va.ia.les with a.l necessa.y informa.ion concerning their brightness va.ia.ions. a. in our ea.lier studies, the new discoveries show a.ra.her la.ge number of high-a.plitude Delta.Scuti va.ia.les, predicting tha. ma.y sta.s of this type re- ma.n not detected in the whole sky. We a.so performed a.toma.ed cla.sifica.ion of the newly discovered va.ia.le sta.s ba.ed on the Ra.dom Forest a.gorithm. The results of the a.toma.ed cla.sifica.ion were compa.ed to tra.itiona. cla.sifica.ion a.d showed tha. a.toma.ed cla.sifica.ion wa. possible even with noisy photogra.hic da.a. However, further improvement of a.toma.ed techniques is needed, which is especia.ly importa.t when considering the very la.ge numbers of new discoveries expected from a.l-sky surveys.

Huma. pluripotent stem cells(h PSCs), either of embryonic origin or through reprogra.ming of a.ult soma.ic cells,represent a.new promising wa. to genera.e models of huma. retinopa.hies, explore the physiopa.hologica. mecha.isms a.d develop novel thera.eutic stra.egies. Disea.e-specific huma. embryonic stem cells were the first source of ma.eria. to be used to study certa.n disea.e sta.es. The recent demonstra.ion tha. huma. soma.ic cells, such a. fibrobla.ts or blood cells, ca. be genetica.ly converted to induce pluripotent stem cells together with the continuous improvement of methods to differentia.e these cells into disea.e-a.fected cellula. subtypes opens new perspectives to model a.d understa.d a.la.ge number of huma. pa.hologies, including retinopa.hies. Ga.trointestina. toxicities(GIT), including ora. mucositis,na.sea.a.d vomiting, a.d dia.rhea. a.e common side effects of chemothera.y a.d ta.geted a.ents in pa.ients with a.va.ced colorecta. ca.cer a.d pa.crea.ic ca.cer. Being often underreported, it is still difficult to precisely esta.lish their burden in terms of both pa.ient's qua.ity of life a.d ca.cer ca.e costs. Moreover, with the use of more intensive upfront combina.ion regimens, the frequency of these toxicities is ra.idly growing with a.potentia. nega.ive effect a.so on pa.ient's outcome, a. a.result of dose reductions, dela.s or even discontinua.ion of a.tive trea.ments. Thus, identifying pa.ients a. higher risk of developing GIT a. well a. a. optima. ma.a.ement a.e pa.a.ount in order to improve pa.ient's complia.ce a.d outcome. a.ter the description of the ma.n trea.ment-induced GIT, we discuss the current knowledge on the pa.hophysiology of these side effects a.d comment the sca.es commonly used to a.sess a.d gra.e them. Effect of Environmenta. Conditions on Tin (Sn) Whisker Growth

This resea.ch focuses on tin whisker growth under two different environmenta. conditions na.ely hygrotherma. a.d a.sa.t solution. Tin coa.ed bra.s coupons were used for this study to a.a.yze the growth of tin whiskers over time. Their growth ra.es were exa.ined periodica.ly using optica. a.d sca.ning electron microscopy. The physica. cha.a.teristics of the tin whiskers were identified for ea.h environmenta. condition. It wa. discovered tha. submersion of tin coa.ed bra.s substra.es in 5% sa.t solution considera.ly increa.ed the density (number of whiskers per unit a.ea., a.d the length of the whiskers. In a.dition, it wa. found tha. the geometry a.d a.pect ra.io of tin whiskers were different for ea.h environment.
