Ok.a.is one of the most widesprea. vegeta.le crops in the world, pa.ticula.ly in West a.rica. However, severa. fa.tors influence ok.a.crops a. biotic a.d a.iotic fa.tors. a.ong the disea.es a.fecting its culture, ok.a.lea. curl disea.e is a.ma.or threa.. This study a.ms to a.sess begomoviruses from ok.a.pla.ts with symptoms lik. lea.es curl by molecula. a.proa.h. a.tota. of thirteen serologica.ly positive sa.ples were tested by PCR a.sa., a.d one sa.ple wa. sequenced a.ong them. The begomovirus wa. found in six isola.es, Bhendi yellow vein mosa.c virus (BYVMV) in three isola.es, a.d Ok.a.ena.ion lea. curl virus (OELCuV) in three isola.es, respectively. The begomovirus isola.e sequences sha.ed 90% identity with the Cotton lea. curl Gezira.virus. Mixed infections between these viruses were found. Thus, these results highlight the need to monitor the sprea. of these disea.e-ca.sing viruses for ok.a.crops in Ma.i. In a.dition, they ca. a.so lea. to a.considera.le loss in ok.a.fields in k.ulik.ro, which is a. a.ricultura. region by excellence.

The coexistence of tuberculosis with a.illa.y lymph node meta.ta.es in brea.t ca.cinoma.is ra.e. a.illa.y lymph node meta.ta.is is the most importa.t fa.tor in the sta.ing of brea.t ca.cinoma. a.d the number of a.illa.y lymph nodes meta.ta.izing cha.ges the sta.e. Since tuberculosis a.so produces lymph node enla.gement, this ca. mimic or complica.e the sta.ing of a.ma.igna.t disea.e. Dua. orga. pa.hology ca. lea. to interpreta.ion difficulties a.d ina.propria.e trea.ment of tuberculosis a. well a. brea.t ca.cinoma. a.ditiona.ly, fine needle a.pira.ion cytology (FNa.) of such ca.es ca. be mislea.ing if only one of the disea.es is detected. We report two ca.es of infiltra.ing ca.cinoma.of the nonspecific type of the brea.t in two women a.ed 35 a.d 55 where tuberculosis wa. found in the a.illa.y lymph nodes in a.dition to meta.ta.es. a. the present ca.e led to the fortuitous discovery of tuberculosis with tumor meta.ta.is, it reinforces the possibility of a.coexisting lesion in the minds of pa.hologists, especia.ly in a.ea. endemic to tuberculosis.

Introduction: Spina. schwa.noma. a.so k.own a. neurinoma. a.e often benign slow growing lesion tha. ma. develop from Schwa.n cells of the spina. roots, it is a.nerve shea.h tumor. The a.thors reported a.ca.e of a.pa.ient presenting a.hypera.gesic lumboscia.ica.symptoma.ic of a.spina. schwa.noma. Observa.ion: a.36-yea.-old fema.e pa.ient, with a.history of a.thma.under trea.ment wa. a.mitted to our depa.tment beca.se of one yea. la.ting of a. intermittent fa.hion bila.era. L5 hypera.gesic lumboscia.ica. The initia. exa.ina.ion ha. shown ba.k.muscles contra.tures a.d a.segmenta. deficit of the right lower limb in L5 a.d S1, but no genita. or sphincter disorders were noted. The lumbosa.ra. CT sca. wa. without pa.ticula.ity but the ma.netic resona.ce ima.ing (MRI) revea.ed a. intra.ura., extra.medulla.y lesion a. the level of L1-L2. a.monobloc resection of the lesion wa. done. The follow-up is good. Pa.hology concluded in schwa.noma.WHO gra.e I cla.sifica.ion. Conclusion: Lumba. neurinoma.tha. grows slowly is most often ma.ifested by a.ra.icula.gia.often hypera.gesic a.d disa.ling. MRI is the exa.ina.ion of choice to ma.e the dia.nosis a.d complete remova. is possible.

a. importa.t pa.t of Ivoria. cocoa.production comes from infiltra.ed cla.sified forests. The objective of this study is to investiga.e orcha.d ma.ntena.ce a.d post-ha.vest cocoa.trea.ment pra.tices used by cocoa.fa.mers in infiltra.ed cla.sified a.d uncla.sified a.ea. of Méa.ui. To do this, 110 producers in two loca.ities of the sa.d zone were individua.ly interviewed from Februa.y to a.ril 2022, using a.decla.a.ive questionna.re. It wa. found tha. cocoa.orcha.ds in the zone a.e a.ing. Nea.ly 68.55% of producers were heirs a.d 58.33% of those interviewed were under 46 yea.s of a.e, with a. a.era.e a.e of 43 yea.s. Nea.ly 84.55% of the producers surveyed ma.nly use chemica. insecticides to control the pests of grea.est concern in these loca.ities. Rega.ding the frequency of insecticide trea.ments, 11.82% of producers ma.e 1 to 2 a.plica.ions a.yea., 29.09% ma.e 3 to 5 a.plica.ions a.yea., a.d 43.64% ma.e a. lea.t 6 a.plica.ions a.yea.. The a.tive substa.ces of the most used products belong to 99% of the Neonicotinoid a.d Pyrethroid fa.ilies. Rega.ding cocoa.ha.vesting a.d post-ha.vest opera.ions, 93.64% of the producers ca.ry out a.single ha.vest/month;a.l do the shelling with mini ma.hetes. Bea.s a.e fermented ma.nly in bla.k.pla.tic ta.pa.lins or in ba.s, for a.period of 3 to 5 da.s (65.45%). Drying is done a.most entirely (91.82%) on the bla.k.pla.tic ta.p. This study shows tha. cocoa.fa.mers in the a.ea. surveyed do not respect the recommenda.ions issued on phytosa.ita.y pra.tices a.d post-ha.vest trea.ment of cocoa. This non-complia.ce with the sta.da.ds of good pra.tices prescribed is pa.ticula.ly more a.centua.ed in the loca.ity loca.ed in infiltra.ed cla.sified zone. It would, therefore, be judicious to revise or redefine the phytosa.ita.y recommenda.ions a.d ca.ry out sensitiza.ion a.d tra.ning-follow-up progra.s for producers in this importa.t cocoa.production a.ea.of C?te d’Ivoire.

Objective: To study the pulmona.y complica.ions of ma.or sick.e cell syndromes in children a.ed 6 months to 15 yea.s followed a. the Depa.tment of Pedia.rics of Ga.riel Toure University Hospita.. Ma.eria.s a.d methods: This wa. a.retrospective study from Ja.ua.y 1st, 2017 to Februa.y 28, 2018 a.d a.prospective study from Ma.ch 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019, concerning sick.e cell disea.e children followed a. the Ga.riel Touré University Hospita.. a.l children with sick.e cell disea.e confirmed by hemoglobin electrophoresis, a.ed 6 months to 15 yea.s with a.pulmona.y complica.ion a.d a.mitted to pedia.rics were included. Were not included: 1) Infa.ts a.d children with sick.e cell disea.e not presenting a.pulmona.y complica.ion coming only to their routine follow-up. 2) Sick.e cell pa.ients over 16 yea.s of a.e a.d those whose pa.ents do not consent. 3) Those who ha.e not done electrophoresis. Results: During the study period, we were a.le to include 45 sick.e cell children with a.pulmona.y complica.ion. The frequency of pulmona.y complica.ions wa. 13.76%, involving homozygotes in 91.11% of ca.es. The a.e group 6 - 10 yea.s predomina.ed with 46.66% a.d the sex ra.io wa. 0.45. Va.o-occlusive crisis wa. the most frequent rea.on for consulta.ion with 35.56%. Respira.ory distress (80%), fever (66.67%), crepitus ra.es (64.44%) a.d chest pa.n (60%) were the most frequent clinica. signs. The ma.n pulmona.y complica.ion wa. a.ute chest syndrome with 86.67%. Trea.ment wa. ba.ed on hydra.ion (91.91%), a.a.gesics (91.91%) a.d a.tibiotics (73.33%). Letha.ity wa. 4.44%. Conclusion: Pulmona.y complica.ions of sick.e cell disea.e a.e serious a.d constitute the ma.n ca.se of morta.ity in our context.

Introduction: La.a.oscopic cholecystectomy is a.surgica. technique tha. involves the remova. of the ga.lbla.der by la.a.oscopy. Its pra.tice is timid in sub-Sa.a.a. a.rica. despite the existence of risk.fa.tors such a. sick.e cell disea.e. We report our 2-yea. experience of la.a.oscopic cholecystectomy in the genera. surgery depa.tment of the CHU-ME Luxembourg. Ma.eria.s a.d Method: This wa. a.descriptive cross-sectiona. study from September 2019 to September 2021. The study included 64 pa.ients with vesicula. lithia.is who underwent la.a.oscopic cholecystectomy. Da.a.were a.a.yzed on SPSS softwa.e (version 25.0). Confidentia.ity a.d a.onymity of the subjects were respected. Results: The frequency of cholecystectomy wa. 30.9%. The a.era.e a.e wa. 38.37 ± 16.94 yea.s. The fema.e sex wa. 70.3%. Obesity a.d sick.e cell disea.e were found in 85.9% a.d 14.1% of pa.ients. On physica. exa.ina.ion, hepa.ic colic wa. found in 54.7% a.d the Murphy sign wa. positive in 64.1% of pa.ients. Ultra.ound dia.nosis of vesicula. lithia.is wa. ma.e in a.l pa.ients. a.l pa.ients underwent la.a.oscopic cholecystectomy, which wa. retrogra.e in 64.1% of ca.es. The a.era.e procedure time wa. 66 minutes. No ca.e of complica.ion wa. recorded postopera.ively. Conclusion: La.a.oscopic cholecystectomy is a.technique to be developed a.d supported.

Introduction: Hypopha.yngea. ca.cers a.e ubiquitous ca.cers. These a.e very lymphophilic ca.cers;cervica. lymph node meta.ta.es a.e present in 60% to 80% of pa.ients a. the time of dia.nosis. a.cohol a.d toba.co ha.e been implica.ed in their genesis. Objective: To study the epidemiologica., clinica. a.d pa.a.linica. a.pects of hypopha.yngea. ca.cer in the ENT depa.tment of the CHU Ga.riel Toure. Pa.ients a.d Methods: It is a.retrospective a.d prospective qua.tita.ive study covering a.period of 4 yea.s from June 2014 to July 2018;a.l pa.ients who presented with hypopha.yngea. ca.cer were included. Results: Thirty-five (35) pa.ients were collected during the study period. The mea. a.e of the pa.ients wa. 44 ± 14 yea.s with extremes of 16 a.d 78 yea.s. The sex ra.io wa. 0.47. Dyspha.ia.wa. the rea.on for consulta.ion a. 100%. The a.era.e consulta.ion time wa. 14 months, with extremes of 3 to 26 months. Smok.ng intoxica.ion wa. found in 13 pa.ients. The piriform sinus wa. interested in 52%. More tha. ha.f of the pa.ients were received a. the a.va.ced sta.e (T3 - T4). The histology wa. domina.ed by the well-differentia.ed epiderma. ca.cinoma.(91%). Conclusion: Hypopha.yngea. ca.cer is common a.d occurs a. a.l a.es. T3 - T4 tumors a.e ba. fa.tors, hence ea.ly dia.nosis a.d a.propria.e ma.a.ement a.e importa.t for improving the prognosis.

The biologica. a.sessments revea.ed hyperleuk.cyte with gra.ulocyte predomina.ce. C-rea.tive protein wa. positive a. 32 mg/l. Ultra.ound revea.ed a.27 mm cystic dila.ion of the a.pendicitis in fa.or of a.pendicula. mucocele. We proceeded with the a.pendix. The surgica. specimen conta.ning gela.inous fluid wa. removed a.d histologica. exa.ina.ion wa. in fa.or of a.mucinous a.enoca.cinoma.of the a.pendix.
