Purpose: The purpose of our study wa. to describe the technique of sca.opelvimetry used in the ra.iology depa.tment of the Point G University Hospita., to specify the indica.ions of sca.opelvimetry in the depa.tment a.d to eva.ua.e the cost of ra.iopelvimetry. Pa.ients a.d Method: This wa. a.prospective, cross-sectiona. study tha. took.pla.e over a.12-month period from Ja.ua.y 1 to December 31, 2018. It focused on pregna.t women in whom sca.opelvimetry wa. performed in the medica. ima.ing depa.tment of Point G University Hospita. during the study period. Results: Out of 8615 CT exa.ina.ions performed in the ra.iology depa.tment, we collected 65 ca.es of sca.opelvimetry, i.e., 0.7% of the CT exa.ina.ions. Primigra.ida.a.d pa.cigra.ida.domina.ed the study (40% ea.h). In 60% of the pregna.t women the height wa. less tha. 150 cm. The most frequent indica.ion for CT sca.ning wa. clinica. pelvic na.rowing (50%). In 80% of the ca.es, the sca.opelvimetry wa. performed a.ter 37 week. of a.enorrhea. a.predomina.ce of na.rowing of the superior stra.t wa. noted (40%). 4.6% of the pregna.t women ha. a.Ma.nin index of less tha. 20. CT sca.opelvimetry is a.fea.ible exa.ina.ion in our context but the level of dema.d is low beca.se of the high cost of the exa.ina.ion (49500 fca.. Conclusion: In light of the results obta.ned, we ca. sa. tha. CT pelvimetry a.lows us to predict the proba.le route of delivery a.d thus we ca. reduce the risk.of fetoma.erna. morbidity a.d morta.ity to improve ma.erna. a.d child hea.th.

Objective: The aim was to take stock of the screening and treatment of precancerous and cancerous lesions of the cervix in the health district of commune V of Bamako, the “G” point and the Gabriel Touré University Hospital in Bamako, Mali. Patients and Methods: This was a descriptive, cross-sectional, a.a.ytica. study with retrospective a.d prospective da.a.collection over a. 8-yea. period from Ja.ua.y 1, 2010 to December 31, 2017. This wa. a.multi-center study. Results: From Ja.ua.y 1, 2010 to December 31, 2017, 42a.>,492 women were screened, representing a frequency of 24.30%. The median age of the women screened was 32 years;25% were under the age of 25. Three-fourth of the women screened was in the 20 - 49 age group. Of the 22,842 women screened, 90.1% of them had a normal col to IVA/IVL. However, 4.1% of cervical positivity had a. style="font-fa.ily:;" "="">with a.etic a.id a.d 5.1% of positivity to Lugol. 0.7% of the women screened clinica.ly ha. ca.cerous lesions. Histologica.ly, 96.5% of the women screened ha. a.norma. cervix with benign lesions. Introduction: Upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy is an examination that involves exploring the upper part of the digestive tract using an endoscope. Our study was aimed to evaluate the practice of Upper GI endoscopy at the mother-child hospital in Mali. Patients and Methods: This was a descriptive retrospective study on reports of Upper GI endoscopy results in the digestive endoscopy unit at the mother-child hospital in Bamako from January to December 2018.a.> Results: Endoscopy was performed in 465 patients including 231 males and 234 females. The sex ratio was 0.98. Patients were aged 46.69 years old on average with the extremes of 8 and 90 years old. Epigastralgia was the main referral in 50.5%. Endoscopy was normal in 24.7%. The main diagnostics were duodenogastric reflux in 32.5% and gastritis in 14.4%. Conclusion: a. style="font-fa.ily:Verda.a.">The pra.tice of Upper GI endoscopy a. the mother-child hospita. in Ma.i ha. a.lowed the explora.ion of the upper digestive tra.t to contribute to the dia.nosis of esoga.troduodena. lesions.

Introduction: Respira.ory distress is a.frequent ca.se of morbidity a.d morta.ity in neona.es. The a.m of this study wa. to a.sess its frequency a.d describe its clinica. a.d evolutiona.y cha.a.teristics in the neona.ology depa.tment of the Ga.riel Touré University Hospita. in Ba.a.o. Methodology: This wa. a.prospective cross-sectiona. study conducted from 1 Ja.ua.y 2021 to 30 June 2021. a.l term neona.es a.ed 0 to 28 da.s hospita.ised with signs of respira.ory distress (ta.hypnoea. na.a. fla.ing, expira.ory whining, intercosta. a.d subcosta. indra.ing, xiphoid funneling a.d cya.osis) were included. The sociodemogra.hic a.d clinica. va.ia.les of the newborns a.d their mothers were a.a.ysed using SPSS.20 softwa.e. Results: During the study period, 1272 newborns were a.mitted to hospita., including 705 born a. term, of whom 188 were included in the study. The mothers’ a.es ra.ged from 14 to 45 yea.s, with a. a.era.e of 24 yea.s. The pregna.cy wa. not followed up in 15% of ca.es. Newborns were resuscita.ed a. birth in 51% of ca.es. The ma.n clinica. signs observed were hypoxia. neurologica. disorders a.d fever. Perina.a. a.phyxia.(55%), neona.a. infections (34%) a.d congenita. ma.forma.ions (6%) were the ma.n ca.ses of respira.ory distress. Morta.ity wa. estima.ed a. 37%. Conclusion: Neona.a. respira.ory distress is a.ma.or ca.se of dea.h. Most ca.ses ca. be a.oided if pregna.cy a.d delivery a.e properly ma.a.ed.

This prospective study a.med a. eva.ua.ing the trea.ment results of orbita. RB with rega.ds to overa.l surviva. ra.e of the pa.ients trea.ed with chemothera.y a.d ra.iothera.y. The study wa. performed from 01 November 2011 to 31 December 2015 in the pa.dia.ric oncology unit of Ga.riel Touré Tea.hing Hospita., Ba.a.o, Ma.i a.d The Institute of Tropica. Ophtha.mology of a.rica.(IOTa., Ba.a.o, Ma.i. a.l intra.orbita. non-meta.ta.ic RB ca.es not previously trea.ed by chemothera.y or ra.iothera.y were included in this study. Fourteen pa.ients were included into the study. Media. a.e wa. 2 yea.s, a.d sex ra.io 2.5 (M = 10;F = 4). Right eye (n = 12, 85.7%) wa. more often a.fected tha. left eye (n = 2;14.3%). Chemothera.y toxicities were ma.nly ha.ma.ologica. including gra.e 3 a.emia.(n = 2;7%) a.d gra.e 4 neutropenia.(n = 3;11%). Twelve pa.ients (86%) were enuclea.ed a.ter neoa.juva.t chemothera.y. Two pa.ients (14%) a.a.doned trea.ment before enuclea.ion. The IRSS pa.hology sta.ing wa.: sta.e IIIa.in 6 pa.ients (50%), a.d sta.e II in six pa.ients (50%). Six children (43%) received orbita. ra.iothera.y a. tota. dose of 45 Gy;Six children (43%) a.hieved complete remission;Overa.l surviva. ra.e wa. 48% a. 4 yea.s (95% CI: 22.5% - 74.4%). Neona.a. morta.ity rema.ns a.public hea.th problem in Ma.i. The neona.a. referra. is a.systemic fa.tor determining the neona.a. prognosis. This work.wa. initia.ed to determine the frequency of neona.a. referra.s a.d to determine their prognosis. a.>Patients and Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out from November 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020 in the neonatology service of the pediatrics department of the Gabriel Toure University Hospital in Bamako. All newborns referred by another health structure in the country were included in this stud. All newborns referred by another health structure in the country were included in this study. To determine the risk factors related to the neonatal referral, we performed univariate and multivariate analyzes to determine the odds ratios and fitted with a significant p probability if p a.>a.> a.>a.>0.05 and the 95% confidence interval. Results: The frequency of referrals was 54.3%.a.>a.>a.> a.>a.>Newborns came from basic structures in 19.3% of cases, from tertiary structures in 6.7%.a.>a.> a.>a.>The main reason for transfer was prematurity (40.2%) followed by perinatal anoxia (15.3%), malformations (15.3%), respiratory distress (15.2%) and infection neonatal (9.1%). Introduction: The most frequent glomerula. pa.hology in children, nephrotic syndrome (NS) is a.cosmopolita. a.fection. It is a. immunologica. disea.e a.d certa.n environmenta. fa.tors, in pa.ticula. vira. infections a.d a.lergens, influence its occurrence. The clima.ic a.d environmenta. differences coupled with the frequency of infectious pa.hologies signing the a.rica. pa.ticula.ity a.d the a.sence of da.a.in Ma.i on this a.fection, motiva.ed us to ca.ry out this work. Objective: To study the epidemiologica. a.pects of nephrotic syndrome in hospita.ized children a.ed 0 - 15 yea.s. Pa.ients a.d Methods: This wa. a.descriptive prospective study from Ja.ua.y 1 to December 31, 2021 in the Pedia.rics Depa.tment of the University Tea.hing Hospita. (UTH) Ga.riel Touré, a.a.iona. pedia.ric reference service in Ma.i. Dia.nostic confirma.ion wa. provided by biology. Results: In one yea., 120 children were hospita.ized for nephrotic syndrome with a.sex ra.io of 2.75. Ma.e exclusivity wa. observed a. the a.es of one yea., eight yea.s a.d 14 yea.s a.d a.reversa. a. 13 yea.s (sex-ra.io = 0.33). The media. a.e wa. 6 yea.s for a. a.era.e a.e of 6.4 yea.s ± 2.4 yea.s with extremes ra.ging from one yea. to 14 yea.s. The first a.ta.k.of nephrotic syndrome occurred outside the cla.sic a.e (>10 yea.s) in 16.67%. Nephrotic syndrome is observed throughout the yea. with two pea.s in summer (July to September) a.d winter (December to Februa.y). Ma.y ethnic groups were a.fected by this condition with a.high frequency a.ong ethnic groups where endoga.y is common. a.l pa.ients were mela.oderms. No ca.es of NS were recorded in Ca.ca.ia. children from Northern Ma.i. The pa.ients ca.e from Ba.a.o in 47.5% of ca.es. Introduction: Congenita. hea.t disea.e is a. importa.t ca.se of morta.ity, chronic morbidity, a.d disa.ility in children in poor countries. The objective of this study wa. to highlight the diversity of congenita. hea.t defects in the neona.ology depa.tment. Methodology: This work.ha. ta.en pla.e in a.neona.ology service over a.period of six months from Ja.ua.y 2019 to June 2019. It wa. a.prospective descriptive study with informa.ion collected from the medica. records of newborns with congenita. hea.t disea.e. Results: Of 1478 neona.es hospita.ized during the study period, 41 ha. congenita. hea.t disea.e, for a.hospita.iza.ion ra.e of 2.77%. CHD a.counted for 2.77% of neona.a. hospita.iza.ions. The sex ra.io wa. 1.73 (26 boys/15 girls). Consa.guinity wa. found in 19% of ca.es. The a.era.e time to consulta.ion wa. 11 da.s. The ma.n clinica. signs were hea.t murmur (58%), respira.ory distress (56%) a.d extra.a.dia. ma.forma.ions (54%). The ma.n ca.dia. ma.forma.ions found were a.ria. septa. defect (46%), pa.ent ductus a.teriosus (44%), ventricula. septa. defect (17%), complete a.rioventricula. ca.a. (15%), a.d tra.sposition of the grea. vessels (5%). The ca.e fa.a.ity ra.e wa. 29%. Conclusion: Dela.ed dia.nosis, genera.ly rela.ed to the long dela. in consulta.ion, a.d la.k.of surgica. ma.a.ement pa.tly expla.n this high ca.e fa.a.ity.

Foreign bodies ingestion is regula.ly observed in ga.troenterology context. The evolution is fa.ora.le with ea.ly extra.tion. Our ma.n objective wa. to eva.ua.e foreign bodies ma.a.ed in digestive endoscopic center of University hospita. center Ga.riel Touré. The study wa. retrospective from Ja.ua.y 2007 to October 2017 in the endoscopic center of the service of ga.troenterology of University hospita. center Ga.riel Touré a.d concerned the pa.ients who ha.e been a.dressed a. this center for foreign bodies. We colla.ed 44 pa.ients who ingested foreign bodies a.ong 2750 digestive endoscopiesa.>, that is to say, a frequency of 0.16%. In patient’s history, we found caustic obstruction in 2.3% of patients. The foreign body ingestion was accidental in 97.7% of cases. Pieces of money were more frequent (54.4%). In 86.4%, the foreign bodies were into the esophagus. Upper digestive endoscopy performed foreign bodies extraction in 88.6 of cases. In 9.1%, a. style="font-fa.ily:Verda.a.">the elimina.ion wa. sponta.eous on 72 hours. Surgeon wa. indica.ed in 2.3% of pa.ients. The evolution wa. fa.ora.le in 97.7% of pa.ients. One pa.ient died by digestive bleeding. Conclusion: Foreign bodies ingestion is frequent in children. The upper digestive endoscopy ca. do the dia.nosis a.d the ma.a.ement.
