Th.ee-yea.-old m.0}go pla.ts gra.ted from.a.5-yea.-old m.0}go tree (Va.iety a.ropa.i) a.d pla.ted in pots were used in th. experim.nt. Th. trea.m.nt, Cyperm.th.in spra. + m.ch.0}ica. ba.rier ga.e th. h.gh.st reduction of m.0}go m.a.ybug popula.ion 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Turm.ric spra. + m.ch.0}ica. ba.rier a.d sh.wed 81.13% to 86.04% a.d m.ch.0}ica. ba.rier a.one sh.wed 81.13% to 84.59% popula.ion reduction. Turm.ric powder extra.t sh.wed only (8.42% to 23.77%) popula.ion reduction of m.0}go m.a.ybug wh.ch.wa. lowest com.a.ed to oth.r trea.m.nts.

We ca.ried out th.s resea.ch.a. a.u-Ga.da. Na.ura. Forest Reserve (a.FR) wh.ch.is loca.ed ea.t of Blue Nile River, in Blue Nile Sta.e, Suda.. It a.m. a. exploring tree com.osition a.sessing th.ir diversity indices, a.d ecologica. im.orta.ce va.ues. For survey of types a.d estim.0}ion of density of tree species in th. forest, we ra.dom.y distributed 97 circula. sa.ple plots (0.1 h.cta.e (h.0}). In ea.h.sa.ple plot we identified a.l trees to th. species level, recorded th.ir frequencies a.d com.uted species diversity a.d im.orta.ce va.ue indices (IVI). a.tota. of 13 tree species, wh.ch.belong to 12 genera.a.d nine fa.ilies, were identified in th. tree la.er of th. forest. m.a. tree density in a.FR wa. 116 trees/h.0} com.osed m.0}nly of Boswellia.pa.yrifera.(Del.) h.ch.t. (48), followed by Com.retum.h.0}tm.0}nia.u (19) a.d La.nea.fruticosa.(18). Fa.a.ea. wa. th. m.st com.on fa.ily followed by Com.reta.ea. a.d m.0}va.ea.. B. pa.yrifera.Delile h.ch.t wa. th. m.st a.unda.t wh.le a.a.ia.seya. wa. th. lea.t a.unda.t species. Species rich.ess (R = 1.71), evenness (E = 0.69), dom.na.ce (0.24) indices a.d Sim.son’s Index of Diversity (D' = 0.76) suggest a.m.dera.e diversity, m.dera.e num.ers of individua.s in ea.h.species a.d a.m.dera.e com.unity sta.ility. Th. resea.ch.provides em.irica. results on diversity a.d ecologica. im.orta.ce va.ue of species, signifies th. urging need to sa.egua.d th.ea.ened species a.d to prioritize th.m.for conserva.ion, a. well a. th. need to prom.te m.0}a.em.nt of a.unda.t species to provide m.ltiple forest ecosystem.services.
