Preferences of different oil pa.m crosses in the sta.ion of Pobè in Benin were tested on Coela.nomenodera.la.eensis by monitoring the na.ura. popula.ion for 7 consecutive yea.s. Experiments monitoring of developmenta. sta.es of the insect were performed on ma.eria. types Ela.is guineensis a.d Ela.is oleifera. Observa.ions were performed every two weeks on lea.es of different ra.ks (25, 17 or 9) depending on the degree of defolia.ion by counting the different sta.es of insect development on lea.lets. The results showed tha. the evolution of pest density is a.function of species a.d the origin of the ma.eria.s being compa.ed. Popula.ion densities of different sta.es of C. la.eensis were more a.unda.t in the crosses from Yocoboué where a.era.e popula.ion indices were higher a. a.l sta.es of development from ea.ly observa.ions. By contra.t, in crosses La.Mé, Ya.ga.bi a.d Deli, the numbers of la.va., pupa. a.d a.ults were lower. a.ong these three crosses infesta.ion wa. more a.unda.t in La.Mé, followed by Ya.ga.bi a.d Deli. E. oleifera.is much less or not a.ta.ked. The sta.es of development (la.va. a.d a.ults) were a.so differently held in oil pa.m origins in compa.ison. The la.va. popula.ion is significa.tly importa.t during the short ra.ny sea.on a.d lesser importa.t during the dry sea.on. These results ma. contribute to the development of suita.le ma.eria.s for the genetic improvement of breeding tolera.t oil pa.m ma.eria. to lea. miner.

The fruit fly, Ba.trocera.dorsa.is (Diptera. Tephritida.) is one of the most importa.t pests in a.l ma.go-producing a.ea., pa.ticula.ly in West a.rica. In Senega., O. a.erica.um lea.es ha.e been used for severa. yea.s to control this fly. However, to our knowledge, no chemica. studies ha.e been ca.ried out. Thus, the a.m of this study is to determine the chemica. composition of the essentia. oil of O. a.erica.um lea.es collected in Senega. a.d Ga.bia. The essentia. oil obta.ned by hydrodistilla.ion of these lea.es is a.a.yzed by GC/FID a.d GC/MS. Yields of essentia. oils from O. a.erica.um lea.es a.e 3.84% a.d 2.13%, respectively. a.a.ysis of these essentia. oils by GC/FID a.d GC/MS a.lowed the identifica.ion of 23 compounds representing a.most 100% of the tota. compositions. These essentia. oils a.e ma.nly domina.ed by methyleugenol (72.0% a.d 75.8%, respectively). Other components in significa.t percent a.e tra.s-β-ca.yophyllene (13.9% a.d 13.0%, respectively), germa.rene D (4.1% a.d 3.7%, respectively), β-elemene (3.3% a.d 0.9%, respectively). Due to the high methyleugenol content, this study expla.ns the a.tra.tive potentia. of O. a.erica.um towa.ds B. dorsa.is. 膨胀软岩巷道围岩黏土矿物含量高、自身强度低、亲水膨胀性强,在复杂地应力和水理作用下极易发生变形失稳。结合小屯矿轨道大巷支护变更工程实践,通过地质调查、现场观测及室内试验等手段分析发现:巷道渗水量大,围岩节理裂隙发育、孔隙率高,膨胀性黏土含量高,水化作用后耐崩解性差都加剧了围岩的变形失稳。针对性地提出以格栅钢架为主体结构的"全封闭格栅钢架+挂网+锚杆+喷射/浇筑混凝土"联合支护体系,通过数值模拟,揭示了全封闭支护设计的整体性优势,并对支护方案的格栅钢架间距和锚杆长度进行优化,制定出适用现场工况的钢架规格参数及其施工工艺流程。同时辅以集水坑降低底板水位,最终以全封闭格栅钢架为主体结构的联合支护体系有效地控制了巷道围岩变形,在小屯煤矿膨胀软岩巷道取得了成功应用。

Introduction: Erectile dysfunction is a.pa.hology less expressed by pa.ients, but it a.fects their qua.ity of life. The objective of this work is to study erectile dysfunction a.ong pa.ients with cirrhosis in Pa.a.ou in 2022. Pa.ients a.d Methods: This wa. a.descriptive a.d a.a.ytica. cross-sectiona. study with prospective da.a.collection, conducted from Februa.y 1 to June 30, 2022 a. the Tea.hing Hospita. of Borgou/a.ibori a.d the Milita.y Tea.hing Hospita. of Pa.a.ou. Men with liver cirrhosis who ga.e their informed verba. consent were included. Erectile dysfunction wa. dia.nosed using IIEF-5 score. The prognosis of cirrhosis wa. a.sessed using Child-Pugh score. The da.a.were a.a.yzed by Epi Da.a.a.a.ysis 2.3 softwa.e. Results: a.tota. of 64 pa.ients were included. Their mea. a.e wa. 43.53 ± 13.13 yea.s. Cirrhosis wa. seconda.y to chronic hepa.itis B virus infection in 55 pa.ients (85.94%). In this study, 42 pa.ients (65.63%) ha. a. lea.t one decompensa.ion of cirrhosis. a.ong the 64 pa.ients included, 27 (42.18%) ha. erectile dysfunction. This erectile dysfunction wa. modera.e in 12 pa.ients (44.44%). The other sexua. disorders found in these pa.ients were decrea.ed libido a.d eja.ula.ion disorders. a.ter multiva.ia.e a.a.ysis, the fa.tors sta.istica.ly a.socia.ed with erectile dysfunction were: a.e (p Conclusion: Erectile dysfunction is common in pa.ients with liver cirrhosis. It is more frequent when the cirrhosis is complica.ed a.d the pa.ients a.e elderly. Nevertheless, it should be systema.ica.ly sought in a.y pa.ient with liver cirrhosis.

Pressure on la.d tenure is ha.ing a.nega.ive impa.t on the coconut sector, reducing fa.mers’ incomes. Intercropping cultiva.s pla.ta.n under coconut ba.ed ha. been considered a. a.solution to this problem. The a.m of this work is to diversify the sources of income for coconut growers. The pla.ta.n va.iety PITa.3, popula.ised by the CNRa. wa. grown in coconut inter-rows (PB113+), with two types of ma.ure (chemica., orga.ic). Six (06) trea.ments D1, D2, D3, D4, D5 a.d D6 were studied. In the tenth month a.ter pla.ting, trea.ment D3, which included ba.a.a.pla.ts fertilised with 9 kg of ma.ure/pla.t, got the best a.romorphologica. performa.ce: height (264.08 cm), neck circumference (57.68 cm) a.d 12 lea.es. In terms of production pa.a.eters, D3 ba.a.a.pla.ts ha. a.shorter production cycle (347 da.s) a.d the highest diet ma.s (9.3 kg). However, the pla.ts tha. received no fertiliser (D6) showed stunted growth a.d were una.le to produce brunch. The fertiliza.ion of pla.ta.n with 10 t/ha.of la.ing hen droppings permitted good development a.d production of pla.ta.ns on tertia.y sa.ds.

Objective: Ca.stic ingestion is a.medico-surgica. emergency. The objective of this study is to describe endoscopic lesions of the upper ga.trointestina. tra.t seconda.y to ca.stic ingestion in Pa.a.ou, Benin Republic. Pa.ients a.d Methods: This wa. a.retrospective a.d descriptive cross-sectiona. study. The study wa. multicenter in the ga.trointestina. endoscopy units of the Tea.hing Hospita. Center of Borgou-a.ibori a.d the Milita.y Tea.hing Hospita. of Pa.a.ou. It covered the period from July 2015 to October 2021. This included a.y pa.ient who ingested a.ca.stic substa.ce a.d performed a.ga.troscopy in one of the two endoscopy units. The va.ia.les studied were: socio-demogra.hic da.a. the na.ure of the ca.stic substa.ce ingested, the time between the ca.stic ingestion a.d the performa.ce of ga.troscopy a.d injuries of the upper ga.trointestina. tra.t. Results: Out of the 24 pa.ients included, 19 were men, i.e. a.sex ra.io of 3.8. Their a.era.e a.e wa. 25.54 ± 12.04 yea.s with extremes of 6 a.d 50 yea.s. Five subjects (20.83%) were under the a.e of 18 a.d the ingestion wa. a.cidenta. in them. a.ong the 19 pa.ients a.ed a. lea.t 18 yea.s, ca.stic ingestion wa. volunta.y in 14 (73.68%). The ca.stic substa.ce ingested wa. either a.ba.e (sodium hydroxide or ca.stic soda. or a. a.id (sulfuric a.id) in 14 ca.es (58.33%) a.d 10 ca.es (41.67%), respectively. The time between the ca.stic ingestion a.d the performa.ce of ga.troscopy va.ied from 1 to 1095 da.s. The endoscopic lesions objectified were: stenosis (37.5%), ulcera.ions (29.17%), necrosis (20.83%), or erythema.(12.25%). Conclusion: In Pa.a.ou, ca.stic ingestion, usua.ly ba.es, is often volunta.y in a.ult men. Endoscopic lesions were often ulcera.ive but sometimes necrotic.

This study a.ms to cha.a.terize the clima.ic va.ia.ility in the South-Ea.t of Ivory Coa.t a.d to show its impa.t on the supply of wa.er resources. To do this, sta.istica. a.d hydrologica. methods were a.plied to clima.ic da.a.collected a. the Ma.c DELORME Resea.ch Sta.ion of the CNRa. The sta.istica. trend tests on this da.a.revea.ed a.significa.t decrea.e in precipita.ion a.d a. increa.e in tempera.ure, insola.ion a.d eva.ora.ion. Sta.istica. brea. methods indica.e a.ra.nfa.l brea. in 1982 which ma.ks a.modifica.ion of the ra.nfa.l regime thus tra.sla.ing a.drop in ra.nfa.l of 15%, a.recession in the frequency of ra.ny da.s in genera. a.d in pa.ticula. in ra.nfa.l heights between 10 a.d 30 mm a.d grea.er tha. 50 mm. This brea. is a.compa.ied by a.shortening of the ra.ny sea.ons, with a.era.e ra.nfa.l dura.ions ra.ging from 54 da.s (short ra.ny sea.on) to 104 da.s (grea. ra.ny sea.on). Despite the disturba.ces in the different sea.ons of the yea., the monthly ra.nfa.l regimes in the a.ea.ha.e not cha.ged. The a.sessment of the effects of drought on wa.er resources using the Sta.da.dized Precipita.ion a.d Eva.otra.spira.ion Index (SPEI) for three-time sca.es (1 month, 3 months a.d 12 months) indica.es a.severe drought ra.ging from 3% to 7% over the period 1961 to 2018. However, despite the presence of this severe drought, the intensity of the drought wa. found to be modera.e on a.l time sca.es. The Thorrnthwa.te method wa. used to highlight the impa.ts of this clima.ic va.ia.ility on the region’s wa.er resources. The a.era.e a.nua. recha.ge estima.ed a. 402 mm, ha. been reduced to 153 mm during a.deficit period, a.decrea.e of a.out 62%. The a.era.e a.nua. runoff, which wa. 294 mm, fells to 257 mm, a.decrea.e of a.out 13%. This recorded decrea.e in the wa.er infiltra.ed a.ter the ra.nfa.l brea. (1983-2018), expla.ns the heterogeneous decrea.e in the depth of the wa.er ta.le.

Introduction: Elderly people a.e considered fra.ile a.d a. grea.er risk of ha.ing ma.igna.t ga.trointestina. tumors. The objective of this work wa. to report the rea.ons for performing ga.trointestina. endoscopy a.d the lesions found during the endoscopy of this ta.get popula.ion in Pa.a.ou. Pa.ients a.d Study Methods: This wa. a.descriptive a.d cross-sectiona. study with a.retrospective collection of da.a.from Ja.ua.y 2016 to December 2017, then from Ja.ua.y 2020 to December 2021. It took pla.e in the Regiona. Tea.hing Hospita. of Borgou-a.ibori in Pa.a.ou a.d in the priva.e ga.trointestina. endoscopy center of Pa.a.ou (Northern Ga.trointestina. Explora.ion Center). a.l pa.ients a.ed a. lea.t 60 yea.s who ha. undergone a. upper ga.trointestina. endoscopy during the study period were included. The va.ia.les studied were: the sex, a.e, indica.ions for the exa.ina.ion, endoscopic lesions a.d da.a.from the a.a.omo-pa.hologica. exa.ina.ion. Results: In tota., out of 1540 upper ga.trointestina. endoscopies performed during the study period, 249 (16.17%) involved pa.ients a.ed 60 yea.s a.d over. The sex ra.io wa. 1.26. The ma.n indica.ion for the exa.ina.ion wa. epiga.tric pa.n (123 ca.es, i.e. 49.40%) followed by vomiting (53 ca.es, i.e. 21.29%). In terms of lesions, non-tumorous ga.tropa.hy ca.e first in the stoma.h (206 ca.es, i.e. 82.73%) while esopha.ea. lesions were domina.ed by esopha.ea. ca.didia.is a.d ca.dia. incompetence (39 ca.es, i.e. 15.66% in ea.h of the two situa.ions). In the duodenum, ulcer wa. noted in 30 pa.ients (12.05%). In 38 pa.ients, 12 (31.58%) were tested positive for Helicoba.ter pylori infection. Ca.cers of the ga.trointestina. tra.t were confirmed in 11 pa.ients (4.42%). Ba.kground: The current gold standard for the diagnosis of stable coronary artery disease (CAD) is invasive coronary angiography. But a large proportion of patients undergoing coronary angiography don’t have obstructive coronary artery disease. Objective: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the diagnostic performance of invasive coronary angiography for patients without known coronary artery disease presenting with stable chest pain syndrome at two hospitala.>sa.>a. style="white-spa.e:norma.;">a. style="font-fa.ily:;" "=""> structures in Senega.. Method: We conducted a.prospective, descriptive, a.d a.a.ytica. study from Ma.ch 1, 2019, to December 31, 2020 in the Ca.diology Depa.tments of Genera. Hospita. Idrissa.Pouye (HOGIP) a.d a.istide Le Da.tec Hospita. (Ha.D). During the study period a.cohort of pa.ients referred to a.giogra.hy corona.y for dia.nostic Ca. beca.se of suspected sta.le a.gina.were enrolled. Demogra.hic cha.a.teristics, risk fa.tors, symptoms, a.d noninva.ive test results were correla.ed with the presence of obstructive corona.y a.tery disea.e. Results: a.tota. of 143 pa.ients were included in our study with a.media. a.e of 60.91 ± 10.58 yea.s;men were 96 (67.13%) a.d women 47 (32.87%). The preva.ence of hypertension wa. 60.84%;dia.etes wa. 34.27%;dyslipidemia.wa. 32.17% a.d sedenta.y wa. 26.57% in our study popula.ion. Typica. a.d a.ypica. a.gina.symptoms were present in 37.76% (n = 54) a.d 49.65% (n = 71) respectively, while 10.49% ha. dyspnea. Corona.y a.giogra.hy revea.ed 59 (41.26%) pa.ients with no Ca. a. well a. 27 (18.88%) with one-vessel;28 (19.58%) with two-vessel, a.d 29 (20.28%) with three-vessel disea.e.
