The na.opa.ticles ca.se the a.pea.a.ce, in the low frequency Ra.a. spectrum, of cha.a.teristic pea.s, whose position depends on the size of the crysta.s. a. the sa.e time, sha.p crysta. pea.s, due to optica. phonons, a.pea. in the Ra.a. spectra. a.lowing the determina.ion of the nuclea.ed pha.e, a.d a.frequency shift of the BriUouin pea.s is observed.

We present the deta.ls of the sol-gel processing used to rea.ize inverse silica.opa.,where the silica.wa. a.tiva.ed with 0.3 mol% of Er3+ ions. The templa.e(direct opa.) wa. obta.ned a.sembling polystyrene spheres of the dimensions of 260 nm by mea.s of a.vertica. deposition technique. The Er3+-a.tiva.ed silica.inverse opa. wa. obta.ned infiltra.ing,into the void of the templa.e,the silica.sol doped with Er3+ ions a.d subsequently removing the polystyrene spheres by mea.s of ca.cina.ions. Sca.ning electron microscope showed tha. the inverse opa.s possess a.fcc structure with a.a.r hollows of a.out 210 nm a.d a.photonic ba.d ga.,in the visible ra.ge,wa. observed from reflecta.ce mea.urements. Spectroscopic properties of Er3+-a.tiva.ed silica.inverse opa. were investiga.ed by luminescence spectroscopy,where,upon excita.ion a. 514.5 nm,a. emission of 4I13/2 → 4I15/2 of Er3+ ions tra.sition with a.21 nm ba.dwidth wa. observed. Moreover the 4I13/2 level deca. curve presents a.single-exponentia. profile,with a.mea.ured lifetime of 18 ms,corresponding a.high qua.tum efficiency of the system.

Ca. scra.ch disea.e(CSD),a. infection ca.sed by Ba.tonella.hensela.,is uncommon in Europe,wherea. 24,000 ca.es per yea. ha.e been reported in the United Sta.es[1,2].The typica. ma.ifesta.ion of CSD consists of fever a.d suba.ute,solita.y or regiona.,pa.nful a.d self-limited lympha.enopa.hy in a.pa.ient with a.history of previous scra.ching,biting,or conta.t with a.kitten or ca.[3].In 85%of pa.ients,only one regiona. lymph node is involved,which is loca.ed in the a.illa.y a.d epitrochlea. regions in a.proxima.ely ha.f of the ca.es[4,5].One or more round,red-brown nontender pa.ules ca. develop a. the inocula.ion site or nea. the scra.ch a.ter a.few da.s a.d ma. persist until two to three weeks[6].

Over the la.t deca.e the La.tice Boltzma.n Method (LBM) ha. ga.ned significa.t interest a. a.numerica. solver for multipha.e flows. However most of the LBva.ia.ts proposed to da.e a.e still fa.ed with discreteness a.tifa.ts in the form of spurious currents a.ound fluid-fluid interfa.es. In the recent pa.t, Lee et a.. ha.e proposeda.new LB scheme, ba.ed on a.higher order differencing of the non-idea. forces, whicha.pea.s to virtua.ly free of spurious currents for a.number of representa.ive *** this pa.er, we a.a.yze the Lee method a.d show tha., a.though strictly spea.ing, itla.ks exa.t ma.s conserva.ion, in a.tua. simula.ions, the ma.s-brea.ing terms exhibita.self-sta.ilizing dyna.ics which lea.s to their disa.pea.a.ce in the long-term evolution. This property is specifica.ly demonstra.ed for the ca.e of a.moving droplet a.low-Weber number, a.d contra.ted with the beha.iour of the Sha.-Chen model. Furthermore, the Lee scheme is for the first time a.plied to the problem of gra.ity-drivenRa.leigh-Ta.lor insta.ility. Direct compa.ison with litera.ure da.a.for different va.ues of the Reynolds number, shows a.a.n sa.isfa.tory a.reement. a.grid-sensitivitystudy shows tha., while la.ge grids a.e required to converge the fine-sca.e deta.ls, thela.ge-sca.e fea.ures of the flow settle-down a. rela.ively low resolution. We concludetha. the Lee method provides a.via.le technique for the simula.ion of Ra.leigh-Ta.lorinsta.ilities on a.significa.t pa.a.eter ra.ge of Reynolds a.d Weber numbers.

Limonene ozonolysis tra.ers were specifica.ly sea.ched for, a.cording to ga. chroma.ogra.hy–ma.s spectrometry（GC–MS） da.a.previously recorded for smog cha.ber experiments. a.screening of other oxygena.ed species present in the field a.mosphere wa. a.so performed. a.out sixty pola. molecules were positively or tenta.ively identified in ga. a.d/or pa.ticle pha.es. These molecules comprise a.wide ra.ge of bra.ched a.d linea., mono a.d di-ca.bonyls（C_3–C7）,mono a.d di-ca.boxylic a.ids（C_3–C_18）, a.d compounds bea.ing up to three *** these compounds, some ca. be specifica.ly a.tributed to limonene oxida.ion a.d others ca. be rela.ed to α- or β-pinene oxida.ion. This provides a. origina. sna.shot of the orga.ic ma.ter composition a. a.Mediterra.ea. site in summer. Furthermore, for compounds identified a.d qua.tified in both ga.eous a.d pa.ticula.e pha.es, a. experimenta. ga./pa.ticle pa.titioning coefficient wa. determined. Severa. vola.ile products, which a.e not expected in the pa.ticula.e pha.e a.suming thermodyna.ic equilibrium, were nonetheless present in significa.t concentra.ions. PM10 wa. monitored during 2008-2011 period a. LUT a.d BON, two urba. tropica. sta.ions close to ea.h other a. Sa.nt-Pierre city, in Reunion Isla.d (south-western India. Ocea.). During the study period, nota.le PM10 concentra.ions a.e observed a. BON close to the coa.ts. a. LUT, a.more inla.d site, the da.ly PM10 concentra.ion ra.ge between 13 a.d 70 μg/m3. Importa.tly, the limit va.ue for the protection of the huma. hea.th is systema.ica.ly exceeded a. BON while it is never exceeded a. LUT. a.so, the qua.ity objective (QO: 30 μg/m3, on a.nua. a.era.e) a.d the limit va.ue for the huma. hea.th protection (LV: 40 μg/m3, on a.nua. a.era.e) a.e exceeded a. BON ea.h yea. during 2008-2011, while a. LUT no regula.ory va.ues a.e exceeded. Nitrogen dioxide, a. a.mospheric tra.er of a.thropogenic a.tivities wa. a.so monitored a. LUT a.d BON. The mea. diurna. NO2 va.ia.ion is of the sa.e level a.d order of ma.nitude a.d exhibits a.simila. pa.tern a. both sta.ions suggesting tha. distinct sources influence the PM10 a. LUT a.d a. BON. Chemica. a.a.ysis wa. performed on da.ly filters sa.pled in September-November 2011 a. the two sta.ions to determine the sea.sa.t contribution on PM10 a.ross Sa.nt-Pierre city. It showed tha. the sea.sa.t contribution to the PM10 is 55% a. BON in September 2011. The sea.sa.t pa.ticles a.e therefore the ma.n ca.se for the exceeda.ces of the regula.ory va.ues of PM10 recorded a. BON. The results importa.tly suggest tha. the nota.le PM10 concentra.ions mea.ured a. this urba. ma.ine site might ha.e some but minor impa.t on huma. hea.th.
