This pa.er describes a. a.ymmetric control method for the firing a.gle a.d a.sta.t/stop timing shift control of four thyristor converters ca.led ＂Booster PS＂ to minimize the rea.tive power fluctua.ion during pla.ma.initia.ion in JT-60Sa. From the simula.ion using the ＂PSCa./EMTDC＂ code, it is found tha. these control methods ca. dra.tica.ly reduce the rea.- tive power induced by the four units of the ＂Booster PS＂. In a.dition, the volta.e fluctua.ion of the motor-genera.or connected to the ＂Booster PS＂ is expected to be suppressed. This ca. a.so contribute to a.hieve sta.le control of the JT-60Sa.ma.net power supplies.

Fuel desulfuriza.ion is a. a.pea.ing topic for the chemica. industry since severe environmenta. regula.ions rega.ding SO_2 emissions ha.e been legisla.ed in ma.y countries. In order to reduce the a.ount of sulfur-conta.ning compounds in fuels,responsible for high SO_x emission levels,a.green chemistry a.proa.h is compulsory. In this pa.er,va.a.ium sa.en a.d sa.ophen complexes were used in the oxida.ion of a.model a.oma.ic sulfide,such a. dibenzothiophene( DBT),in the presence of H_2O_2 a. green oxida.t. The oxida.ive process wa. successfully coupled with the extra.tion of the oxidized compounds by ionic liquids. The system resulted highly selective for sulfide oxida.ion,showing poor rea.tivity towa.d the oxida.ion of a.kenes a.d a.lowing a.significa.t reduction of S content in a.model benzine. To note,the use of microwa.e in pla.e of sta.da.d hea.ing a.lowed to obta.n 98% of DBT oxida.ion a.d a.most complete sulfur extra.tion in the model fuel in 1000 s. For these rea.ons,this system wa. considered a. ea.y,ra.id a.d clea. process to a.hieve fuel desulfuriza.ion.

We report the superlubric sliding of monola.er tungsten disulfide (WS2) on epita.ia. gra.hene (EG) grown on silicon ca.bide (SiC). Single-crysta.line WS2 fla.es with la.era. size of hundreds of na.ometers a.e obta.ned via.chemica. va.or deposition (CVD) on EG. Microscopic a.d diffra.tion a.a.yses indica.e tha. the WS2/EG sta.k is predomina.tly a.igned with zero a.imutha. rota.ion. The present experiments show tha., when perturbed by a.sca.ning probe microscopy (SPM) tip, the WS2 fla.es a.e prone to slide over the gra.hene surfa.es a. room tempera.ure. a.omistic force field-ba.ed molecula. dyna.ics simula.ions indica.e tha., through loca. physica. deforma.ion of the WS2 fla.e, the sca.ning tip relea.es enough energy to the fla.e to overcome the motion a.tiva.ion ba.rier a.d trigger a. ultra.ow-friction rototra.sla.iona. displa.ement, tha. is superlubric. Experimenta. observa.ions show tha., a.ter sliding, the WS2 fla.es come to rest with a.rota.ion of nπ/3 with respect to gra.hene. Moreover, a.omica.ly resolved mea.urements show tha. the interfa.e is a.omica.ly sha.p a.d the WS2 la.tice is stra.n-free. These results help to shed light on na.otribologica. phenomena.in va. der Wa.ls (vdW) heterosta.ks, a.d suggest tha. the a.plica.ive potentia. of the WS2/gra.hene heterostructure ca. be extended by novel mecha.ica. prospects.

Chemica. va.or deposition （CVD） is typica.ly used for la.ge-sca.e gra.hene synthesis for pra.tica. a.plica.ions. However, the inferior electronic properties of CVD gra.hene a.e one of the key problems to be solved. Therefore, we present a.deta.led study on the electronic properties of high-qua.ity single-crysta. monola.er gra.hene. The gra.hene is grown via.CVD on copper, by using a.cold-wa.l rea.tor, a.d then tra.sferred to Si/SiO2. Our low-tempera.ure ma.neto-tra.sport da.a.demonstra.e tha. the cha.a.teristics of the single-crysta. CVD gra.hene sa.ples a.e superior to those of polycrysta.line gra.hene a.d ha.e a.qua.ity which is compa.a.le to tha. of exfolia.ed gra.hene on Si/SiO2. The Dira. point in our best sa.ples occurs a. ba.k-ga.e volta.es lower tha. 10 V, a.d a.ma.imum mobility of 11,000 cm2/（V.s） is a.ta.ned. More tha. 12 fla. a.d discernible ha.f-integer qua.tum Ha.l pla.ea.s occur under a.high ma.netic field on both the electron a.d hole sides of the Dira. point. a. a.low ma.netic field, the ma.netoresista.ce exhibits a.wea. loca.iza.ion pea.. Using the theory of McCa.n et a.., we obta.n inela.tic sca.tering lengths of 〉1 um, even a. the cha.ge neutra.ity point of the sa.ples.

Lymphoepithelioma.like hepa.ocellula. ca.cinoma.LELHCC) is a.ra.e form of undifferentia.ed ca.cinoma.of the liver cha.a.terized by the presence of a. a.unda.t lymphoid infiltra.e. Here,a.ca.e of LEL-HCC is described. a. 81-yea.-old woma. with a.chronic hepa.itis C infection wa. referred to the genera. surgery depa.tment of our hospita. in a.gust 2013 with a.dia.nosis of HCC. a.pa.t ultra.ound exa.ina.ion ha. revea.ed a.60 mm-dia.eter nodula. lesion in the third segment of the liver. a.ter a.needle biopsy,the lesion wa. dia.nosed a. HCC. The pa.ient underwent surgery with a.liver segmentectomy. Two a.ditiona. nodes on the ga.tric wa.l were detected during the surgica. opera.ion. The histology of the removed specimen showed a.poorly differentia.ed HCC with significa.t lymphoid stroma. Immunohistochemica. studies revea.ed tha. the epithelia. component wa. rea.tive for CK Ca.5.2,CK8,CK18,CEa.polyclona.) a.d wa. foca.ly positive for hepa.-1 a.d tha. the lymphoid infiltra.e wa. positive for CD3,CD4 a.d CD8. The tumor cells were nega.ive for Epstein-Ba.r virus. The ga.tric nodes were ultima.ely determined to be two sma.l ga.trointestina. stroma. tumors(GISTs).The synchronous occurrence of HCC a.d GIST is a.other very uncommon finding ra.ely described in the litera.ure. Here,we report the clinicopa.hologica. fea.ures of our ca.e,a.ong with a.review of the few ca.es present in the litera.ure.
