Goa.s: The study ha. been initia.ed in order to desc.ibe the epidemiologic.0}, c.inic.0} a.d etiologic.0} a.pec. of the a.c.tes. Pa.ients a.d methods: This wa. a.retrospec.ive a.d desc.iptive study on the pa.ients with a. a.c.te a.d followed a. the medic.ne depa.tment of Borgou depa.tmenta. tea.hing hospita.. Results: a.tota. of 190 pa.ients ha.e presented a. a.c.te or a.hospita. preva.enc. a. 3.93%. a.ma.e predomina.c. ha. been observed with a.sex-ra.io a. 1.7. The a.era.e a.e wa. 39.7 ± 13.9 yea.s. The rea.on for c.nsulta.ion is domina.ed by the inc.ea.e of the a.domina. volume (69.5%). The a.c.te fluid is ma.rosc.pic.0}ly yellow c.trine. The c.rrhosis (28.5%) a.d the hea.t disea.es (18.6%) were the most enc.untered c.0}ses of the a.c.tes. c.nc.usion: The etiologies of a.c.tes a.e va.ious a.d domina.ed by the hepa.ic.c.rrhosis a.d the hea.t disea.es.

Background: Vitamin D deficiency is very common among PLWHA compared to the general population and is promoted by several factors. Aim: To identify the factors associated with hypovitaminosis D in people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) followed up in Porto-Novo in 2019. Methods: This was a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study. PLWHA who were monitored on a. outpa.ient ba.is a.d who ga.e their c.nsent were inc.uded in this work. Subjec.s una.le to a.swer questions or under ongoing vita.in D supplementa.ion or suffering from c.ronic.liver disea.es were not inc.uded. Hypovita.inosis D wa. defined by a.blood level of 25 hydroxy-vita.in D less tha. 30 ng/mL. Results: a.tota. of 270 PLWHa.were inc.uded in the study. The mea. a.e of the pa.ients wa. 39.51 ± 6.85 yea.s with a.fema.e predomina.c. (73.3%). The frequenc. of hypovita.inosis D wa. 56%. Hypertension, low protein inta.e, a.emia.a.d low glomerula. filtra.ion ra.e were a.soc.a.ed with vitamin D deficiency. Conclusion: Vitamin D deficiency is common a.ong PLWHa. whic. justifies routine sc.eening, espec.a.ly a.ong those a. risk.

Objec.ive: To study the frequenc. of neurologic.0} disorders a.soc.a.ed to HIV infec.ion. Methods: This c.oss-sec.iona. study wa. c.0}ried out from 16th June to 16th September 2014 a.d inc.uded a.l 289 HIV-outpa.ients a.mitted to the Pa.a.ou University hospita.. a.l da.a.were rec.rded, physic.0} exa.ina.ion wa. performed a.d the medic.0} sheet of ea.h pa.ient wa. a.sessed. The dia.nosis of neurologic.0} disorder (c.ntra. a.d periphera.) wa. ba.ed on c.inic.0} fea.ures, pa.t medic.0} history, biologic.0} test a.d c.-sc.0} da.a.a.ter multidisc.plina.y sta.f. Epi-da.a.a.d Epi-Info 6.04c.were used to perform a.a.ysis. Results: They were 73 (25.3%) ma.e with a.mea. a.e of 38.0 yea.s +/−?10.1 yea.s. The mea. dura.ion of disea.e wa. 48.5 months +/−37.1 months. 150 (51.9%) of them were a. Sta.e 3 of the disea.e. a.l pa.ients (99.7%) were infec.ed by HIV1, 188 (76.1%) ha. c.4 c.lls a. the onset of the follow-up less tha. 350 c.lls/mm3 a.d 260 (90.0%) were on a.T. a.ong the 289 pa.ients, 110 ha. a. lea.t one neurologic.0} disorder, the frequenc. of neurologic.0} disorders wa. 38.1%. The ma.n neurologic.0} disorders were periphera. neuropa.hy (34.3%), isola.ed hea.a.he (5.2%), stroke (0.7%), c.rebra. toxopla.mosis (0.7%) a.d one c.0}e of dementia.(0.7%). The ma.n a.soc.a.ed fa.tors were the a.e of pa.ient a.d exposure on neurotoxic.drug, espec.a.ly a.T. c.nc.usion: The neurologic.0} disorders were more frequent a.ong HIV pa.ients with a.high frequenc. of periphera. neuropa.hy proba.ly due to a.T.
