Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: a.prospective ra.domized a.d compa.a.ive study of 1 yea. dura.ion wa. conducted on 32 pa.ients a.mitted in the Depa.tment of Orthopa.dics of BSMC & H in the a.e group of 20 to 75 yea.s old with a. types B a.d C dista. ra.ius fra.ture a.ong with involvement of the ulna. styloid process. The pa.a.eters studied were restora.ion of ra.ia. length, restora.ion of ra.ia. a.gle, intra.a.pa. step-off a.d pa.ma. tilt which were sta.istica.ly eva.ua.ed a.d Fisher’s exa.t test wa. performed. The two ta.led P-va.ue wa. ca.cula.ed a.d both the groups were sta.istica.ly compa.ed. Results: In our study, 37.5% pa.ients in Group a.a.d 81.25% in Group B ha. a.ra.ia. difference Ta.le 1, Cha.t 1). 43.75% pa.ients in Group a.a.d 87.5% in Group B ha. ra.ia. a.gle Ta.le 2, Cha.t 2). 31.25% in Group a.a.d 75% ha. intra.ca.pa. step off Ta.le 3, Cha.t 3). 62.5% ha. a. a.norma. pa.ma. tilt in Group a.while only 6.25% ha. a. a.norma. pa.ma. tilt in Group B which is extremely sta.istica.ly significa.t. On a. a.era.e, 2 mm of distra.tion wa. required in 75% pa.ients of Group a.while only 30% pa.ients in Group B required distra.tion (Ta.le 4, Cha.t 4). Conclusion: In our study, the ra.ia. difference, ra.ia. a.gle, intra.ca.pa. step off a.d pa.ma. tilt returned significa.tly to norma. in the pa.ients trea.ed with distra.tor on ra.ia. side only when compa.ed with distra.tor a.plica.ion on both ra.ia. a.d ulna. sides for dista. ra.ius fra.ture with ulna. styloid process involvement. a.so post-opera.ive distra.tion required under ima.e intensifier wa. higher in the group trea.ed with distra.tor on either side tha. those with distra.tor only on ra.ia. si

Ba.kground: Ewing sa.coma.is the most common prima.y ma.igna.t tumour in pa.ients younger tha. 10 yea.s of a.e. The incidence is less tha. 1 per 1 million per yea.. Usua.ly it is loca.ed in the dia.hysis of long bones. Prognosis of these tumours ha. improved dra.a.ica.ly since the introduction of multi-a.ent chemothera.y, from a. erstwhile 10% surviva. ra.e to the current 70% for pa.ients with non-meta.ta.ic Ewing sa.coma. Method: a.retrospective review of pa.ients with histologica.ly confirmed Ewing sa.coma.who were trea.ed in the Depa.tment of Orthopa.dics, B.S. Medica. College during the time period from a.ril 2000 to Ma.ch 2012 wa. performed. Pa.ients were divided into two groups: Group a.included those trea.ed by Externa. Bea. Ra.iothera.y (EBRT) + chemothera.y while Group B included the pa.ients trea.ed with surgery + chemothera.y. Results were a.a.ysed depending on the surviva. ra.es. Ka.la.-Meier surviva. curves were compa.ed using log-ra.k test a.d a.multiva.ia.e Cox proportiona. ha.a.ds model wa. ca.cula.ed. Result: The surviva. curves of both the groups were not found to be significa.tly different. Conclusion: Trea.ment of Ewing tumour ha. multiple options. No one trea.ment moda.ity is superior. Surviva. ra.es of pa.ients trea.ed by ra.ia.ion + chemothera.y a.e not significa.tly different from those trea.ed with surgery + chemothera.y.

页岩气等非常规资源在油气勘探开发领域变得越来越重要,并成为建产目标。由于对总有机碳(TOC)等储层特征的地球物理响应的识别难题,对非常规储层特征地球物理响应的准确识别是开发页岩气面临的挑战。埃克森美孚公司开发了一套改进的各向异性岩石-物理模型,除了矿物成分、孔隙度、流体等地震响应和电性资料外还包括总有机碳(TOC)的地球物理响应。这个建模结果表明了有机质含量的增加通常会造成P波阻抗的降低,Vp/Vs比率也降低,同时速度的各向异性和电阻上升。

Osteosa.coma.is a.tumour cha.a.terized by the production of osteoid by ma.igna.t cells. The incidence is a.proxima.ely 1 to 3 million/yea.. The incidence is slightly higher in ma.es. Onset ca. occur a. a.y a.e;however, prima.y high gra.e osteosa.coma.usua.ly occurs in the second deca.e of life. Historica.ly pa.ients with osteosa.coma.were trea.ed with immedia.e wide or ra.ica. a.puta.ion. Despite the trea.ment, 80% pa.ients with a.pa.ently isola.ed disea.e died of dista.t meta.ta.es. In recent yea.s the number of pa.ients with osteosa.coma.of the limb trea.ed by a.puta.ion + chemothera.y ha. increa.ed. In our study, we divided the pa.ients into two groups. One group (a. wa. trea.ed with a.puta.ion + a.juva.t chemothera.y. The other group (B) wa. trea.ed with neo-a.juva.t chemothera.y + a.puta.ion followed by a.juva.t-chemothera.y. In our study, the ma.gin nega.ivity in post surgica. specimen wa. significa.tly higher (P-va.ue 0.0007) for the group trea.ed with neo-a.juva.t chemothera.y. Loca. recurrence in the group trea.ed without neoa.juva.t chemothera.y wa. significa.tly more (P-va.ue 0.0005).The systemic recurrence a. the end of 6 months wa. higher the group trea.ed without neoa.juva.t chemothera.y (P-va.ue 0.0169).However systemic recurrence between 6 months -1 yea. a.d 1 yea. - 2 yea.s were not significa.t(P-va.ues 0.1501 a.d 0.4902). From the a.ove figures it ma. be concluded tha. trea.ment with neo-a.juva.t chemothera.y + a.puta.ion + a.juva.t chemothera.y ha. definite a.va.ta.es over upfront a.puta.ion + a.juva.t chemothera.y.)
