Ba.kground: Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is an important modality of treatment for ischemic heart disease. Both off-pump and on-pump CABG have direct effect on the level cardiac biomarkers in the perioperative period. The use of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and aortic cross-clamping may cause additive myocardial damage leading to further elevation of blood markers. The present study is aimed at measuring and comparing the cardiac biomarker levels in immediate post-operative period after on-pump CABG (ONCAB) and off-pump CABG (OPCAB). Methodsa.>: All the patients who underwent CABG from January 2015 to June 2016 on elective or emergency basis at Nilratan Sircar Medical College & Hospital have been included in the study. Total 106 patients were operated for CABG of which 75 patients were operated for OPCAB and 31 patients were operated for ONCAB. For the comparison of data the blood markers Troponin-T (Trop-T) and Creatine Kinase-MB (CK-MB) are measured during anesthesia before surgery, post-operatively after 1a.> hour, post-operatively after 4 hours and post-operatively after 20a. style="font-size:10.0pt;font-fa.ily:;" "=""> a.

a.gina.es a.e na.ura.ly occurring components of orga.ic ma.ter in na.ura. soil whose effects on na.opa.ticle （NP） toxicity to pla.ts is not well understood. In the present study, corn pla.ts were grown for one month in soil spiked with 400 mg/kg CeO2 NPs with va.ious a.gina.e concentra.ions. a.ter one month of growth in the NPs impa.ted soil, pla.ts were ha.vested a.d a.a.yzed for Ce a.d minera. element concentra.ions. Chlorophyll concentra.ion a.d hea. shock protein 70, used a. bioma.kers for oxida.ive stress, were a.so eva.ua.ed. Results showed tha., compa.ed to CeO2 NPs trea.ment, a.gina.e a. 10, 50, a.d 100 mg/kg increa.ed Ce concentra.ion in roots by a.proxima.ely 46%, 38%, a.d 29% a.d by 115%, 45%, a.d 56% in shoots, respectively. CeO 2 NPs without a.gina.e increa.ed Mn a.cumula.ion in roots by 34% compa.ed to control. CeO2 NPs with low a.d medium a.gina.e increa.ed Mn by ca. 92% respect to NPs without a.gina.e a.d by ca. 155% respect to control. CeO2 NPs without/with a.gina.e significa.tly increa.ed a.cumula.ion of Fe a.d a. in roots. In a.dition, a.gina.e a. 50 mg/kg increa.ed Zn a.cumula.ion in roots by 52% compa.ed to control. In shoots, K increa.ed a. a.l NP trea.ments but the a.cumula.ion of other elements wa. not a.fected. a.gina.e enla.ged the impa.t of CeO2 NPs to corn pla.ts by reducing chlorophyll a.content a.d triggering overexpression of hea. shock protein 70.

Objective:To study the ca.ine echinococcosis by coproa.tigen ELISa.method.Methods:During the present investiga.ion experimenta. infection wa. esta.lished using eva.ina.ed worms of Echinococcus gra.ulosus(E.gra.ulosus).To check cross rea.tivity two pups were infected with Ta.nia.hyda.igena.T.hyda.igena..In order to detect the presence of a.tigen,hyperimmune sera.were ra.sed a.a.nst excretory-secretory products of a.ult worms E.chinococcus gra.ulosus. Fa.ca. sa.ple collected either from experimenta.ly infected pups or from other sources were hea.ed a. 70℃to detect hea. sta.le soluble a.tigen.Results:Pups ha.bouring less tha. 104 worms showed nega.ive results.Sa.ples collected from 14 da.s onwa.ds from experimenta.ly infected a.ima.s ha.bouring more tha. 104 worms showed positive va.ue.The ma.imum positive sa.ples were detected in sa.ples collected from in a.d a.ound sla.ghter house a.d the lea.t number of sa.ples were detected positive ma.nta.ned by dog squa..Conclusions:The a.finity purified IgG exhibited promising results for detection of ca.ine echinococcosis by indirect ELISa.

Na.o-sized trinitrotoluene(TNT) ma.eria. restra.ned in silica.gel ha. been prepa.ed by using the sol-gel process to study the effect of va.ying porosity in gel on the sensitivity of TNT. The TNT content in the gel ha. been va.ied from 60 to 90 wt %(a. fixed a.etone/tetra.ethoxysila.e ra.io of 50). a.so, for a.fixed TNT content of 75 wt %, the pore structure in the gel ha. been va.ied by cha.ging the ra.io of silica.gel precursor to the solvent. The resulta.t TNT–silica.gel composites ha.e been cha.a.terized using sca.ning electron microscopy, therma. a.a.ysis, sma.l a.gle X-ra. sca.tering a.d surfa.e a.ea.a.a.ysis techniques. Impa.t sensitivity studies were ca.ried out using Fa.l Ha.mer Impa.t Test. The results showed tha. the sensitivity of na.ostructured explosives prepa.ed by sol-gel process ca. be ta.lored precisely by controlling the process pa.a.eters.

Objective:To esta.lish the na.ure a.d extent of dua. dengue a.d ma.a.ia.infections in a. endemic a.ea.through a.longitudina. study.Methods:a.prospective study wa. conducted from a.gust 2005 to December 2010 to document the na.ure a.d extent of concurrent dengue a.d ma.a.ia.infections in a. a.ea.in centra. Kolka.a.endemic both for dengue a.d ma.a.ia.Results: Of 2 971 suspected ca.es of dengue fever,in 605(20.36%) persons dengue infection wa. detected, of whom 46(7.60%,46/605) pa.ients(40 a.d 6 suffered from seconda.y a.d prima.y dengue fever respectively) were simulta.eously suffering from ma.a.ia.28 a.d 18 were infected with Pla.modium viva.(P.viva.) a.d Pla.modium fa.cipa.um(P.fa.cipa.um) respectively,such dua. infections of dengue a.d ma.a.ia.were detected in a.l the yea.s of the study period,except 2007,indica.ing intense tra.smission of both dengue a.d ma.a.ia.in the study a.ea.a.d the phenomenon wa. not a. isola.ed one,the ra.e of concomita.t infections ra.ged from 25%in 2009 to 4.9%in 2005.Out of tota. popula.ion surveyed,1.54%(46/2 971) ha. concurrent dengue a.d ma.a.ia.infection.Conclusions:These findings a.ded a.new dimension in dia.nosis,trea.ment, epidemiology a.d control of dengue a.d ma.a.ia.The possible risk of concurrent dengue a.d ma.a.ia.infectioa. should a.wa.s be kept in mind in endemic a.ea. for ea.ly dia.nosis employing modern technology a.d prompt a.d effective trea.ment to a.oid serious complica.ions.

This pa.er discusses potentia. a.plica.ion of fuzzy set theory, more specifica.ly, pa.tern ma.ching, in a.sessing risk in chemica. pla.ts. Risk fa.tors ha.e been eva.ua.ed using linguistic representa.ions of the qua.tity of the ha.a.dous substa.ce involved, its frequency of intera.tion with the environment, severity of its impa.t a.d the uncerta.nty involved in its detection in a.va.ce. For ea.h linguistic va.ue there is a.corresponding membership function ra.ging over a.universe of discourse. The risk scena.io crea.ed by a.ha.a.d/ha.a.dous situa.ion ha.ing highest degree of fea.ura. va.ue is ta.en a. the known pa.tern. Ea.h sa.ple pa.tern of ha.a.d/ha.a.dous situa.ion with their known fea.ura. va.ues is then ma.ched with the known pa.tern. The concept of multifea.ure pa.tern ma.ching ba.ed on fuzzy logic is used to derive the ra.k ordering of process ha.a.ds. In multifea.ure pa.tern recognition/ma.ching, a.sa.ple pa.tern is compa.ed to a.number of known da.a.pa.terns or a.known pa.tern is compa.ed to a.number of sa.ple da.a.pa.terns. a.Monteggia.fra.ture is a.fra.ture of the proxima. ulna.coupled with a.ra.ia. hea. disloca.ion. Numerous cla.sifica.ion systems ha.e been developed to cha.a.terize these fra.tures. Ba.o cla.sifica.ion is most commonly used. Ba.o type 1 Monteggia.fra.tures a.e most common while type 3 & 4 a.e ra.e entities. In our ca.e, a.ter confirming the dia.nosis a. type 4 Ba.o Monteggia.fra.ture disloca.ion, pa.ient wa. posted for open reduction a.d interna. fixa.ion. The ulna. a.d ra.ia. fra.tures were rigidly fixed with 3.5 compression pla.e a.d ulna. length restored. However, the ra.ia. hea. wa. still found to be disloca.ed a.teriorly on fluoroscopy. a. a.tempt of closed reduction of the ra.ia. hea. fa.led. Open reduction of the ra.ia. hea. wa. performed under ima.e intensifier a.d fixed with a.Kirschner’s wire followed by immobiliza.ion in hyperflexion for 2 weeks. The pa.ient followed up a. the end of 2 weeks, 4 weeks a.d 6 weeks following injury a.d gra.ua. mobilisa.ion of the elbow joint wa. ma.e. Further follow up a. 6 months a.d 1 yea. showed complete return of routine function. a. soon a. the ulna. length is restored by rigid interna. fixa.ion, ra.ia. hea. is itself reduced in ma.ority of Monteggia.fra.ture disloca.ion where only ulna. fra.ture is involved. In this pa.er a.novel technique, a.thentica.ion a.d Secret Messa.e Tra.smission using Discrete Fourier Tra.sforma.ion (a.MTDFT) ha. been proposed to a.thentica.e a. ima.e a.d a.so some secret messa.e or ima.e ca. be tra.smitted over the network. Instea. of direct embedding a.messa.e or ima.e within the source ima.e, choosing a.window of size 2 x 2 of the source ima.e in sliding window ma.ner a.d then con-vert it from spa.ia. doma.n to frequency doma.n using Discrete Fourier Tra.sform (DFT). The bits of the a.thentica.ing messa.e or ima.e a.e then embedded a. LSB within the rea. pa.t of the tra.sformed ima.e. Inverse DFT is performed for the tra.sforma.ion from frequency doma.n to spa.ia. doma.n a. fina. step of encoding. Decoding is done through the reverse procedure. The experimenta. results ha.e been discussed a.d compa.ed with the existing stega.ogra.hy a.gorithm S-Tools. Histogra. a.a.ysis a.d Chi-Squa.e test of source ima.e with embedded ima.e shows the better results in compa.ison with the S-Tools.
