The a.ticle describes a.new method for ma.wa.e cla.sifica.ion, ba.ed on a.Ma.hine Lea.ning (ML) model a.chitecture specifica.ly designed for ma.wa.e detection, ena.ling rea.-time a.d a.cura.e ma.wa.e identifica.ion. Using a. innova.ive fea.ure dimensiona.ity reduction technique ca.led the Interpola.ion-ba.ed Fea.ure Dimensiona.ity Reduction Technique (IFDRT), the a.thors ha.e significa.tly reduced the fea.ure spa.e while reta.ning critica. informa.ion necessa.y for ma.wa.e cla.sifica.ion. This technique optimizes the model’s performa.ce a.d reduces computa.iona. requirements. The proposed method is demonstra.ed by a.plying it to the BODMa. ma.wa.e da.a.et, which conta.ns 57,293 ma.wa.e sa.ples a.d 77,142 benign sa.ples, ea.h with a.2381-fea.ure vector. Through the IFDRT method, the da.a.et is tra.sformed, reducing the number of fea.ures while ma.nta.ning essentia. da.a.for a.cura.e cla.sifica.ion. The eva.ua.ion results show outsta.ding performa.ce, with a. F1 score of 0.984 a.d a.high a.cura.y of 98.5% using only two reduced fea.ures. This demonstra.es the method’s a.ility to cla.sify ma.wa.e sa.ples a.cura.ely while minimizing processing time. The method a.lows for improving computa.iona. efficiency by reducing the fea.ure spa.e, which decrea.es the memory a.d time requirements for tra.ning a.d prediction. The new method’s effectiveness is confirmed by the ca.cula.ions, which indica.e significa.t improvements in ma.wa.e cla.sifica.ion a.cura.y a.d efficiency. The resea.ch results enha.ce existing ma.wa.e detection techniques a.d ca. be a.plied in va.ious cybersecurity a.plica.ions, including rea.-time ma.wa.e detection on resource-constra.ned devices. Novelty a.d scientific contribution lie in the development of the IFDRT method, which provides a.robust a.d efficient solution for fea.ure reduction in ML-ba.ed ma.wa.e cla.sifica.ion, pa.ing the wa. for more effective a.d sca.a.le cybersecurity mea.ures. Ba.kground: Dia.etes mellitus (DM) is independently a.socia.ed with a. increa.ed risk of ca.diova.cula. morta.ity a.d morbidity, including corona.y a.tery disea.e (Ca.). Ca. is a.sha.ed burden disea.e a.d the lea.ing ca.se of dea.h in developed a.d developing countries. We a.med to a.sess the a.giogra.hic pa.terns of corona.y a.teries in pa.ients with DM in a.developing country (Yemen) a. the first study. Methods: This study is a.cross-sectiona., prospective, observa.iona. study tha. includes a.tota. of 250 pa.ients who were a.mitted for elective dia.nostic corona.y a.giogra.hy. Results: 96 (38.4%) pa.ients were dia.etics;68% were ma.e;mea. a.e wa. 57 ± 11 yea.s. The incidence of three-vessel disea.e wa. 31.2% of pa.ients. Considering the severity of lumen occlusion, (11.2%) of pa.ients ha. non-significa.t lesions, (37.6%) of pa.ients ha. significa.t lesions, a.d (32%) ha. tota. occlusive lesions. Lesions were of La. in 76%, RCa.in 60%, a.d LCX in 52% of the popula.ion. a.ong dia.etics, two a.d 3-vessel disea.es (33.3% vs. 20.8% & 50% vs. 19.5%, P = 0.001), left ma.n lesion (10.4% vs. 2.6%, P = 0.012), significa.t stenosis (41.7% vs. 35.1%, P = 0.032), tota. occlusion of corona.y a.teries (43.8% vs. 19.5%, P = 0.032) a.d type C lesion (66.7% vs. 35.1%, P = 0.010) were more frequent tha. non-DM pa.ients. Conclusion: The burden of significa.t a.d severe corona.y lesions is more common a.ong DM, which ma. be the ma.or ca.se of morbidity a.d morta.ity of DM in developing countries.
